May 2004 Small, sheltered campsite. There were quite a lot of trains during the day but didn't disturb us. Our only disturbance was the caravan parked opposite us, they were having some kind of get together of long lost friends and had to be asked to quieten down at 11.30pm as they were VERY LOUD! But I guess that's the risk you take anywhere! The facilities are clean but basic. I thought it was a bit pricey at £10 per night for a tent with no hook up.

Aug 2003 Small and peacefull. Approx 10 min walk to centre of Church Stretton. Smaller tents are able to pick a spot in the orchard. Piches available for larger tents and caravans. Facitlites fairly basic though clean: 2 toilets and 1 shower in both ladies and gents. Showers free with plenty of hot water. Washing up area (1 sink). Only disturbed by one train from the nearby line. Would not stop me going back. Did notice that the house and site was up for sale. Worth checking it is still there before you go!

August 2003 Small peaceful site in an orchard although can be disturbed by passing freight trains in middle of night. Facilities not bad, hot water available at all times for showers & washing up facilities. Disabled/family shower room & toilet has plenty of room. Rally field available. Dogs welcome. Good base for rambling etc.
