Had another wonderful time at this site, we chose a good week as schools were still open, 19-26th July. During our week we only had three other units that were overnight transit stops during the week. The site is wonderfully clean and staff and static caravan users were polite and friendly. The club house provided good entertainment and allows dogs in on a lead. The issue with the toilet block is still the same, staff even acknowledged that it need looking into, I am 6ft tall and well built but the shower posed no problems. We have a Swift Challenger 580SE and had no problems negotiating the site. There are too many plus points for this site to be negative. Once again we booked for 2015 before we left.

Just returned from a lovely holiday at this caravan park. We had 3 of the pitches for the 12 of us. The site was absolutely beautiful and the area excellent. Great for visiting so many different places. However if we had known before we placed our booking that there was only 1 small shower and 2 toilets in the ladies and only 1 shower and 1 toilet in the gents we possibly would have looked elsewhere. The showers were very claustrophobic and smaller than a caravan shower. The space in the block could have been put to much better use and more toilets and showers incorporated. Also we tow a twin axle caravan that is over 8 metres long and, along with other units, we found it extremely difficult to manoeuvre around the gravel and post area at the entrance to the site. One man in a motorhome took almost 30 minutes to negotiate this on returning to the site after a day out because a car was parked halfway on the road and the green on plot 11. As I said before there are lots of great things but the touring site leaves a lot to be desired.

This was our first visit to this site and how glad we are that we came. The touring area is small, up to 12 units on grass pitches with it's own toilet block. The area is beautifully landscaped and clean. The proximity to a lovely dog friendly beach was a great plus for us along with 4 dog friendly pubs within walking distance. The accessibility to all major road routes was good. The toilet block was clean and fresh, my only small negative remark is that 1 shower and 1 sit down loo are not enough for a minimum of 12 men, I did have to queue once or twice. This could be eased if staff were to allow access to the disabled facility especially if there are no registered disabled people on site. We enjoyed it so much that we have booked a week next summer before we left the site. The staff were always polite and helpful.

Our first trip in our new (to us) 70's caravan with some friends. The touring area is small but very neat with good pitch sizes (plenty of space for our diddy 14 foot vans anyway)
The shower/toilet block is excellent, new and clean and very close to all the pitches. The outdoor pool was loved by our children, and even in the rain at 26 degrees the water was warm enough to make up for it.
The beach is a very short walk, predominantly stones but the children found enough sand to dig a big hole. Staff were friendly, shop is just milk/soft drinks/ local papers/ icecreams (unless there was another one that I missed. )
The small play area was lovely and the whole site was well looked after.
Overall, we were very impressed.

We stayed 3 nights at the beginning of the October half term, we paid 3 price nights for the price of 2 £33. 00, although it was only the 2 of us the price included 4 people.
Due to the traffic diversion in force it wasn't that easy to find, when you do find the site you go to your allocated pitch first then to reception, who were very friendly and helpful.
Very clean warm facilities, 2 toilets 1 shower, adequate due to the low numbers at this time of year, although I would think it may be inadequate in high season, we used our own shower to begin with but by Wednesday afternoon we were there on our own so used their shower which was hot and powerful.
Mainly statics on site with a clubhouse and swimming pool of which we used neither due to the time of season, however a short stroll along the seafront path brought us to 'The Oddfellows' pub where we had a good meal.
We used this site as a base to visit our son who moved to Carlton Colville a few months ago and would use again without hesitation.

Just spent two nights here with my in-laws. Site was easy to find and the block of 12 touring pitches are conveniently located just off to the right of the entrance.
This area is very neat and tidy, bordered with wooden fencing and a new-looking shower/toilet block. The pitches are all grass with some small shrubs in between. They are not very spacious though, forcing some caravanners to park their cars half way into the roadway which made it a tight squeeze manoeuvring our motorhome. Saying that, we had plenty of room for our windbreaks.
It was very quiet and peaceful and the dog-friendly beach is a 2-min walk down beside the site, accessed by steps.
Our dogs loved it and we walked into Lowestoft via the beach (approx 35 mins). There is a club house and swimming pool, both of which we could use but did not. Cost was £46. 00 for 2 adults, 2 dogs for 2 nights, so fairly reasonable.
My only gripe was having to vacate our pitch by 11am. A great site and will definitely go back.

Brilliant site really friendly and clean.
Just booked another 3 dates for our tourer here
In 2013. We stayed on 4 occasions in 2012 and was never
Disappointed. Great pool and club house. Toilets and shower warm and clean.
3 good pubs on sea front just a short walk.
I would recommend this site to anyone.
The site is easy to find and all pitches are level.
Also very quiet. They have twelve pitches for tourers, pity they
Did not have more is my only gripe.

We stayed here for two nights on an 'off-the-cuff' week's tour of the locality.
We rang ahead to book on the same day that we arrived and the staff could not have been more helpful. Directions on this site for access are exactly correct and we found it with the help of the good local signage as well. It is in the middle of a housing estate which can become a bit congested at busy times (e. G. School pickup)and it may not be suitable for people with massive units (large Winnebagos, coach conversions or very long caravans) as access could be a bit tricky. Average caravans and motorhomes should be OK (as we were).
The tourers area is limited to 12 units all with electric hookup; water is available nearby as is an elsan disposal point and a very new toilet/shower block. In the ladies section there are 2 loos and 1 shower plus 2 sinks and a baby changer (the hair dryer is away from the mirror so take your own if you are bothered!); in the mens there is one shower, one sit-down loo and standing room as well as 2 sinks. This might become quite busy with a full tourers' site but we didn't have a problem as there were only 4 on site when we were there.
The beach is less than a five minute walk away and the park is convenient for local shops, pubs, etc. The on site pool we did not try, likewise the clubhouse, but both looked fine (if you like that sort of thing). We were happy to keep ourselves amused and if that's what you like doing too you will find this site very good value and convenient.

Must say campsite was immaculate. Staff friendly and helpful. Think there needs to be more food on offer and advertised what they do have and maybe food served later o, n or maybe a van outside clubhouse, but the Chinese delivered to clubhouse was good
Shops nearby like spar, morrissons and a co- op. Good dog walk along the beach
Toilet block very clean. Playground small. Nice swimming pool.
Found a nice pub called the jolly sailors whose food was awesome, will go back there got to be tried
On the site was electric hook up, 12 pitches in all but nice and quite

The site staff were friendly and helpful from day one right through to the end of our stay. Site facilities such as the toilet block and play areas were always clean and the grass well cut even around our awning.
Mainly a static van site, the touring pitch is small and some of the pitches are given over to seasonal (as we did).
Small shop on site, but site is quite close to supermarket and take away facilities.
Close to the beach and in a great place for the Lowestoft airshow (although it rained on us when we were there).
All in all it was a good place to pitch for the season.
