Another satisfactory stay at this well situated camp site. We stay here often as we have family on the Kent coast.
It's advantages are the relative quiet, small nature area, nearby bus stop into Canterbury( or historic Sandwich the other way) and the surrounding pretty Kent villages (Littlebourne, Fordwich, Ickham and Wickhambreaux are all recommended).
The hard standing pitches can be on a slope do you may need wedges. The showers are clean with lots of hooks, a pull down stool to sit on but starting to show their age.
There is quite a lot of coming and going, after all this is a site not far from Dover. The children's play area seems popular but well sited away from most pitches.
My only negative. Could the site assistants that run reception just be a bit more friendly and smile more? I felt that my request was resented a bit. But a very small negative.

This is a lovely site, well managed with friendly and helpful staff.
There are a good mixture of generous sized hardstanding pitches with EHU, plus grass pitches with and without EHU.
Warm, clean toilet block with plenty of showers and toilets. I don't know how busy it gets in the summer but it had a really nice feel to it.
Great location with easy access to Canterbury which is very well connected by bus or train for lots of days out in the surrounding area, as well as being a great place to visit with lovely shops and places to eat.
Good value for money (esp if you are a CCC member) we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come again.

Well situated, well run site. We have visited to see family with a new baby several times.
The staff are first rate, the site is well set out and very well run and clean. The nearby bus route into Canterbury is excellent for visiting this amazing city.
I can highly recommend the Cathedral and also the shopping. Try canoeing at Grove Ferry. A lovely spot. The villages nearby are picturesque and the coast easily reached.
I never had to queue for a loo or shower and the level of cleanliness is excellent.

Wonderful site and wonderful staff.
We arrived late after awful 6 hour journey only to find our NEW horizon 700 air tent was faulty.
Staff were excellent, advised us on where the local retailer was and came to check if we were OK on our return.
The facilities are spotless and cleaned regularly, play area if you have kids and the site has secured barriers with codes for your safety.
Will definitely recommend and return.

We loved this site from the moment we arrived. The whole site was very well kept and although quite busy it was still really peaceful.
There is a very handy bus service from right outside the site into Canterbury (about a 15 minute journey) and beyond.
The site staff were friendly and welcoming and very helpful.
We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider this site for another visit.

We spent a glorious 2 weeks here during August. We were met on arrival by a friendly lady who directed us to the pitches that were available, and given a choice.
Our pitch was a hardstanding which received full sun all day, but there were also many shaded pitched available.
Facilities were always clean, I never had to queue for the toilet or shower, despite the site being full.
The site is in a great location to explore the eastern side of Kent. With all of the beaches being within a half hours drive.
I would thoroughly recommend this site and cannot think of any complaints.

This site is in a good position to visit Canterbury and the surrounding seaside towns. We have a motorhome so rely on the bus services.
There is a bus stop outside the site which once you get to Canterbury bust station you can easily get to places such as Margate, Westgate and there is another loop bus to Broadstairs from Margate.
There is a walk opposite by and through the Golf club leading to a very nice pub called the George and Dragon. The golf club also does food, but we didn't get to try it.
The site facilities are good and the wardens friendly.
