A really nice site laid out mainly for statics but also has around 20 touring pitches most of which are grass.
The toilets are clean and well equipped but there are only two showers in both male and female areas that suffer from confined private changing space. However you are always guaranteed hot water no matter what time you use them.
There is an entertainment area that also provides sit in or take away food. There are usually music acts on at the weekends but that stops at eleven so as not to cause any major disturbance.
The site is a short five minute stroll onto the beach via Troon golf course or ten minutes via Prestwick golf course onto the town beach and a further fifteen minutes into the town where you will find a good selection of pubs and restaurants.
We use this site a lot as it's only an hour plus from our home and therefore ideal for short breaks.
Friendly, helpful staff make the difference and our Collie Rosie is always made welcome.
Being so close to the airport you do experience some aircraft noise but it doesn't seem to bother the regular caravaners.

Very friendly staff who dealt with my last minute booking very well.
We were allocated a lovely tidy grass pitch (17) for my Motorhome. Nice quiet site with bar and restaurant on site.
My wife and I drank in 'The Pub' and ate in the Restaurant and the prices for food and drinks were very reasonable.
I'd recommend the Steak Pie, quite possibly the nicest Steak Pie I've ever had.

Very quiet site with good sized pitches each with hook up and tap for each tourer.
Been here several times in the last three years well recommend.
A small club house on site serving good food and good entertainment at the weekend.
Toilets been upgraded and spotlessly clean.
Great walks and cycle paths heading to Preswick or Troon.

Great and quite site, I like plane watching so was happy as a lamb. Motorhome pitch easy to find.
Did not use toilets so cannot comment on them, but used restaurant which had a live singer so added to the atmosphere.
Staff friendly and Lady on telephone was very polite. Beach just a stroll away and great views once there.
Park very clean and tidy and well kept.
Only stayed 1 night would we go back, No but that's because we never visit the same site twice.
If you want peace and quite and just want to unwind then you won't be disappointed.
If your into Aircraft then you will be in heaven.

Nice quite site, clean and tidy. Website says shop on site. Asked around no shop, maybe website needs updating.
Went to toilet one of the seats broken, fully service pitch easy to find other than that nice place to unwind.
Another plus Lady on phone taking booking very Polite and knew everything I asked of the site.
And great stroll along beach.

The site was lovely, kept very clean
The staff were very friendly attentive and couldn't do enough for you
We will definitely be back.
The only negative was the showers although they were spotless it took a while to heat and when I was finished they would not turn off. I have a step daughter with special needs and she could not of used the shower because off this.
