This is not a big site but this is not an issue for someone like me who wants clean facilities, flat grass and a bit of peace. I arrived in heavy rain but the ground was still able to take the weight of my car without sinking.
There are a few lumps and bumps in the ground but they are easy to avoid when pitching because the site is not marked out.
The surrounding countryside is pleasant but unremarkable. There is the opportunity to join footpaths that border the site if you want to go for a walk without having to travel by car first.
If I am in the area again I will come back here

This is an excellent small site. The new showerblock has 3 showers and 3 loos for ladies and the same for gents - so no queues and proper electric showers which don't require you to push a button every few seconds - hurrah! Vans are well-spaced in the back field and the orchard. The former has nice open views of farmland, the latter is cosier with fruit trees now in blossom. There are good fresh water and toilet emptying facilities. The back field is nice and level: we didn't need our chocks. The farm buildings are attractive with bright wallflowers and some lovely planters of flowers on milkchurns. Trevor the manager was helpful and gave good advice about walks etc.
For the best food turn left from the farm and walk or drive to the Irby Mill, a dog-friendly pub with lots of real ales and a talented chef. BUT if walking take torches and bright clothing as there is no pavement. Easy walk across a field to Arrowe Park where dogs can run free.
Only downside is some road noise and the occasional plane from Liverpool Airport but this quietens down overnight.

Wow what a special little campsite!
We were made very welcome and our tent located next to our friends caravan in the orchard. It was quite cosy but there is more room in a field at the back. Plenty of space for the children to run around and still be seen.
Gorgeous new shower block, nice soaps on the sink, plenty of toilet paper and hand towels. Lovely and clean with plenty of hot water!
We ate at the Hungry Horse as the weather was a bit damp on arrival. I didn't really enjoy the food and they had a Lady Ga Ga tribute act on full volume. Of course the day later we found a great little pub, good excuse to go back!
Lovely and quiet, no real road noise, I did hear the odd plane and of course cows in the distance which I quite like!
We cycled along the Wirral way which was only a short drive away. Ate ice cream in West Kirby and walked across the sand to Hilbre island. Lots in the local area to entice us back!
No rush to leave which meant we maximised our weekend away and all for £15 a night! The warden was very friendly and we had a little chat each day.
We will be back for sure!

Lovely little site. New toilet and shower block which was spotlessly clean with plenty hot water. There was also a large field for anyone not needing electric. Owner was very pleasant and helpful, told us how to get to the nearest pubs and that we were able to walk through the field to get to Arrowe Country Park which was excellent for us to take the dog. We did walk up the road to the nearest shop which took about 20 minutes or so. Would definitely stay here again. Price was £15 including electric hook up.

This is a little gem of a site, with a brand new shower and toilet block that is kept clean and plenty of hot water.
We paid £12 for 1 night with no charge for our 2 dogs.
It is just a short walk (across the farmers field) away from Arrowe Brook Park which has some lovely walks with a stream and is huge, certainly an unexpected bonus.
Will definitely return to spend longer there.

Set on a working farm, we were not sure if we had made a mistake by booking this site to visit Anthony Gormleys Another Place at Crosby.
Dark when we arrived, we pulled up outside the cowshed and hooked up.
Facilities were almost en suite we were so close. Although basic, had good lighting and hot water and a nice powerful shower. The washing up facilities were outside but had loads of hot water.
Nice pub about a mile and a half away Arrowe Park Hotel - (Hungry Horse), does nice pub grub. The walk home was a bit of an experience along the country roads, but worth it.
Good location for visiting Liverpool drove in and parked behind the Arena.
Recommended.

We only stayed one night at Arrowbrook Farm but we shall definitely be returning in the future. The farmer went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable as possible when it was discovered we'd arrived with only a tiny 2 man tent to sleep 2 adults and 3 kids (thanks to a dodgy deal at a car boot sale). He even went so far as to provide us with a wind break, camping chairs and a place in the barn to store our huge amounts of luggage. He was also kind enough to give us a lift to the village when we left, because the narrow country lane leading to the farm is quite dangerous for pushing a buggy along (the only negative regarding location). The kids were made very welcome, we spent time watching the animals and the boys enjoyed clambering on the haystack. The field we stayed in was very spacious, us being the only tent there. The showers and toilets were clean and looked very new as did the washing up station. We didn't have much chance to look around Greasby village but everyone we met there was very friendly and went out of their way to help us find the site. Overall highly recommended and big thanks to the farmer for helping us out.

Wow this was our first ever Camping Trip and what a fantastic site, the Gentleman couldn't of been more helpful. The toilet blocks from reading on here were brand new and they were always lovely and clean and tidy, the showers and sinks always had hot water and there was hand soap to wash hands.
There were plenty of points of drinking water.
The gentleman let us settle in and no rush to leave.
Would definitely recommend and go back again.
Cant wait for next camping trip.

Just returned from a four day break. The Wirral had just had a covering of snow, leaving the fields very wet. The farmer however(a very nice man) managed to fit us in a drier area.
The farm is easily located being just a couple of miles off the M53.
The site has a fairly new toilets and shower block. Free showers( 3 in each) kept clean and supplied with hand soap and toilet rolls.
Will return when it gets warmer.
Irby Mill pub just up the road serves good ale and very tasty food. (book it gets busy).

Stayed at this site for one night when visiting my sister in Liverpool.
When first arrived owner was out somewhere (he's a farmer, so has farmland duties to attend to), we needed to go into Liverpool before setting trailer tent up so we left him a message on his answer phone to advise we'd be just leaving the trailer tent there for now whilst we went through the tunnel.
When we came back the owner was there. Very friendly guy, we were going to pitch on one pitch, but he advised us to go over to another one which was flatter and helped us push the trailer tent over to the other pitch (the other pitch was a lot flatter!).
Showers were in an outside portacabin. Showers worked very well, although portacabin is ever so slightly tilted to the left so don't leave shoes in the left corner of the shower changing room as the water rolls down to there. The tilt is so slight the only way you notice it is because all the water accumulates there, otherwise it's not noticeable, I've been in lots of portacabin showers that have been way more lob-sided than that and as it's a portacabin I'd expect it to be slightly off centre.
The site consists of two camping areas a main large field and a small field, we camped on the small field, this is the closest one to the toilets and showers.
After we finished camping we realised we had a problem because we didn't really want to be towing the trailer tent around with us all day (especially through the Mersey tunnel twice) and we checked if it was ok to take the tent down and leave it there until we'd finished in Liverpool. The owner was very accommodating with this request and told us it's fine to leave the trailer tent whilst exploring Liverpool as he had no-one else booked on the site that night anyway, really appreciative of this.
This site is also very close to numerous facilities, you have a pub just round the corner from the site, and a Sainsbury's, with petrol station, it's very close to Birkenhead & New Brighton, and only a tunnel journey through to Liverpool (tunnel charges are £1. 50 each way for a normal car, £3. 00 if towing, but can be reduced if you apply for a Mersey Tunnel tag, also free to disabled vehicles if they apply for a disabled tag - flashing the blue badge at them or showing them a disabled tax disc doesn't work - as we found out!).
Entrance to the site is really easy, it's straight down major roads all the way, the only thing to watch for though is on the last turning into Arrowbrooke Lane the farm only has a small sign for Arrowbrooke Farm, could do with a signpost to indicate there is a campsite there, as I nearly drove past it, from a distance you can see some of the caravans on their pitches as approaching.
