We have just stayed at Penmillard Farm and enjoyed our visit. The site is in a great position overlooking the sea but is very exposed in inclement weather. The pitches are in a row and reasonably level but some wedges may be required. There is electricity available and it is essentially mandatory to use it as there is no possibility not to have it which can be slightly expensive. Water is available at each end of the pitch row and Thetford emptying facility is available rather a way away in the corner of a field. The site is very quiet and peaceful and access is reasonably straightforward for short vehicles from the lane. The grass was very long during our visit due to illness we were told.
The surrounding area is very beautiful and there are lots of places to visit. The South west Coast path is at the bottom of the field so easily accessible. There is a lot of wildlife around this area and the interest of shipping in and out of Plymouth Sound.
We will most probably visit here again if we are in the area.

We found this site on UKCampsite and were not disappointed. Fantastic Views, which you cannot beat. Very peaceful and quiet and on the SW Coast Path. A very useful CL and delightful owners too. Only Five vans per site and with Electric Hookups too. Absolutely great, we will definitely come back. Could be very blustery on a wet and windy day but all the more exciting for the view. Do visit, you won't regret it.

August 2004 The outstanding thing about this very simple site is the views from your caravan window. Stunning scenery across Plymouth sound with every type of sailing vessel you could imagine drifting in and out of view. The site has plenty of room, with the grass mown on a regular basis. Immediately in front is the South-West coastal path, so plenty of walking from your door. Hook-ups are available, with disposal area. The owners are friendly and helpful, and allow dogs and children. The site backs on to Rame Church and graveyard, and is very peaceful. Be prepared for sea breezes though. A lovely, quiet corner of Cornwall at this CL site.
