A truly beautiful, well cared for site. Well spaced pitches with beautiful landscaping.

Owners could not be more helpful and friendly.

It's in a great location, near to towns, stunning countryside and near the coast. Lots to see and do.

All the usual facilities, all immaculately clean. Fish and chip van visits weekly, to take a night off from cooking.

Recommend highly.

We spent a week at this well maintained, small and quiet site. The hardstandings were plenty big enough, but we were asked to pitch with our front end facing inwards and so had to use the motor mover - not really a problem, but unusual! We had to buy a card for the electricity, and it ended up costing over £10 for the week which surprised us - especially as we didn't use the heating and used calor gas for cooking. It must be my hair straighteners! The toilets and showers were spotless with plenty of free hot water, but no hot water to the washing up area, which we therefore didn't use.

The owners were very friendly and helpful.

The site is well-positioned to visit a range of tourist attractions and towns, with a bus stop at the entrance. Totnes is delightful and the trip from there to Dartmouth on the River Dart was beautiful. The Two Mile Oak pub is a 10 minute walk away with good beer and delicious food too - even for a vegetarian! Fish and chips from the van on Saturday night were excellent too.

The garden centre next door is one of the best I've visited for healthy and some more unusual plants and a fantastic deli too. All in all - a great place to stay and I would recommend it without hesitation.

Enjoyed 2 nights at Woodville Caravan Park. Lovely peaceful and well maintained clean site, large pitches with hard standing, with loads of space between neighbouring pitches. All facilities are very good. The owners are very friendly and helpful hosts. A nice circular walk from site through roads and paths farmland to keep the dog happy. 2 Mile Oak pub is walking distance and well worth a visit.

Plan to visit again.

Having read the previous reviews, I would like to give an update. (Ignoring the dog owning comments from March 2013)

The site now has an excellent wi-fi connection and is free!

The owners have recently installed metered electricity to all pitches and, just to give a guide, we used under £2. 50 worth in the five days we were there. We wish all sites did this.

The only detracting comment I can make is that, although the site is everything that has already been said, there is no hot water to the washing up sink. It didn't cause inconvenience but was noted. For this reason the site 'lost' a point on Site facilities and on location as there is a constant hum from the nearby road, but only during the day. We highly recommend this site, particularly to motorhomers as the local bus service is first class and right outside the site.

This is a hidden Gem, lovely clean site. Peaceful, pitches level and a good size. The showers were clean and warm. Everything you want for a quiet, calm peaceful trip. Bus stops just outside if you don't want to drive. Lots of nearby walks, near to a couple of very nice pubs. The friendly owners really care about the site and make you feel so welcome. Would have no hesitations to recommend and look forward to another stay here.

We have stayed at Woodville Park many times and would highly recommend this site, the owners are fantastic hosts and nothing is too much to ask them. The toilet and shower facilities are second to none spotless clean at all times and even the local radio station playing in the background. Ok if you have a dog as we do you need to take them off site for a walk and for what dogs need to do, this means you need to cross the main road at the entrance to the site were there is a path you can walk them, yes the road is busy at times but aren't they all just keep looking left and right.

The main thing we love about this site is it is ADULT ONLY and as OAP's and yes before anyone asks we do have three Sons, two Daughter In Laws and four Grandchildren it's nice to have sometime on your own without the kids.

We have been visting this site for the last 11years. It is a lovely small adult only site. We have a little dog who has been with us on 9 of those years. The owners are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them, they work hard to keep the grass short and all running smooth. We love South Devon there is so much to do. The site is just past Newton Abbot just off the main road to totnes. There is only one downside, that is the lack of a dog walk, but there is nothing that can be done about that as the location limits it but that would not stop us staying there. We shall be there again this year.

Have just spent 10days at Woodville and have to say what a fantastic site. The owners were always on hand and very helpful. The shower and toilet block was always spotless as was the whole site. It is perfectly placed for exploring South Devon and there are excellent amenities nearby. The visiting Fish and Chip van was most welcome on Saturday night after our 300+ mile trip! Local pub The Two Mile Oak was excellent and the Old Church House and Inn nearby was even better. Sited in between Totnes and Newton Abbott, we passed major supermarkets each time we went out or came home from either direction, but the garden centre next door was superbly stocked with every thing you need in the way of groceries and food. I would definitely go there again and hope to do so. It is a quiet, well groomed and well managed site. I spoke to many people there and no one had a bad word for it. Quite the opposite. Well done!

Just come back from a brilliant 2 week break at Woodville. We were met on arrival by one of the owners, who was a great guy. After setting up the van on our huge pitch we started to put the awning up, the day was beautiful but right at the point of no return ( awning wise) we got hit by a couple of big wind gusts and one ripped roof later. The owner was fab and helped us to temporarily patch the awning with his trusty gaffer tape and helped us to put it up and even popped back periodically to check if it was holding.

The owners are always around and always say hello, grass is well kept and site is pristine. Recycling is actively encouraged by the wide array of labelled bins.

Toilets and showers were always spotlessly clean and plenty of loo rolls, soap dispensers were always full. The site is ideal if you want peace and quiet and even the seasonal campers were friendly and stopped for a chat.

Dogs are welcome on the site and our ageing Labrador made lots of new friends, our only negatives about the site were that there is no designated dog walking area ( which we were aware of before booking)and the road is really busy ( with a slow walking dog it does pose a problem at some points during the day)and the lane ( shortcut ) to the coast (avoiding Totnes and its crammed roads) is narrow and quite unnerving ( even though there are plenty of passing places.

We would stay here again if we were venturing back to south Devon. A great place to visit there is the Two Mile Oak pub down the road as the food and management there are amazing. Woodville is a fantastic place and well worth staying at.

This was a fantastic site, the owners could not have been more helpful. There were several seasonal pitches and everyone was very friendly. It was walking distance from the nearest pub, who served lovely food. The garden centre was next door and they have a well stocked deli, on the other hand if you walk the other way there is a spar at the garage. If we are back down that way again we would definitely go back.
