My first ever review of a caravan site but I feel this one is special and deserves a mention. Perfect location for touring South Devon. This site is small and unbelievably friendly, I made friends with the owners immediately, they are brilliant, nothing too much trouble. We had a problem with the water pump on our van, not only were we given great directions to the nearest caravan spares dealer (where we had no luck) we discovered later it was an 'O' ring issue on the intake pipe. The owner came to the rescue so we managed the rest of the stay with water.
The facilities are extremely well cared for and immaculate. Close to so many great places, local pubs etc. I really can not rate this site highly enough. If you want a quiet relaxing break, this is one for you.
We will return later in the season, it has already become one of our favourite sites after one visit.

Pretty site but that's all I can honestly say about it. Yes we were met on arrival, all jolly nice but afterwards that was it! The gents shower block had only one toilet plus two urinals. The ladies had only one shower working, disabled not in use, also no water available from the cold tap. Central heating for both blocks practically non existent, absolutely freezing in there, as we are enduring the coldest Easter on record I would have thought it paramount for visitors to be looked after. Cleaning wasn't evident with several campers remarking about the uncleaned facilities. The washing up/vegetable preparation area was open to the elements and again had no hot or cold water. The dog walk area was accessed from the site entrance across the busy A381 main road, take your life in your hands job and merely a muddy thin path along the main road either to Fermoys Garden Centre or in the opposite direction to Texaco's Petrol Station/Spar shop. This walk is not for the feint hearted especially if you have a boisterous dog. We, and two other campers departed early to more suitable locations. All in all a very disappointing site and one I shall not be returning to in the future.

We have just spent a Fantastic five nights at Woodville and can not wait to return. From the warm welcome to the relaxing calming atmosphere our stay could not have been better. Dogs and well behaved owners are greeted with a warm smile and help and assistance are given if needed.
The site is very well laid out with plenty of space ( including the complimentary picnic table). The toilet / shower block was modern and very clean with plenty of hot water ( and for the first time ever. Piped music too! ).
Close to the beautiful Devon coastline and surrounding areas. A dog friendly pub with a friendly warm atmosphere, excellent food and local beers is within walking / staggering distance! All in all, a wonderful relaxing time. We will be back again hopefully.

We have stayed at Woodville on a number of occasions and always found the site excellent, the shower block is always spotless.
The owners are always very helpful and friendly, as friends. We also like the fish and chip van that calls once a week. Local pubs within walking distance as is the garden centre.
There is a bus stop right outside the gate into Newton Abbot or Totnes, all in all a superb site to stay. As an adult only site, for us is a bonus because it's so peaceful.
Only thing missing for us in this modern age in no internet access.

Lovely week on this site, big hard standing pads, nice clean facilities and warm. Very peaceful site, very helpful and friendly owners. Would stay again anytime, thank you for a good week. Good dog walking path over the road (if you have dog with you) Garden centre next door, good food. Service garage just down the road, it sells some food its a spar, or in Newton Abbott there is an Asda 24 hour supermarket - you have to pay to park but you get money back if you spend £10 pounds or more. Most car parks in Devon are around £1. 00 hour and that's the bit I don't like about Devon, parking cost too much

This is a very well kept site ,toilets very clean, pets are allowed but there is no dog walk, one is asked to cross a very busy road, and walk ones dog along a public footpath that runs parallel with the main road. Also they do have a disability toilet but the site is not suitable for a mobility scooter , too much gravel especially on the pitches. It is a very quiet site, and very dark at night, not enough lights. It used to be a very small site with six caravans, now in the caravan club magazine they say 26 Caravans
