We visited this site for the first time for a long weekend to visit family in the Worthing area. What a little gem! So peaceful and quiet. On arrival, wardens were very polite and helpful and let us choose our own pitch. The site is clean and well presented, with large well spaced pitches with plenty of trees and shrubs for seclusion. As mentioned by other members, the toilet block is closed but this was no problem. There is a huge Tesco about a 10 minute walk from site. Shame the local pub has now closed. We cycled into Worthing (approx. 40 mins) Nice reasonably flat route. Would definitely return.
As for the closure rumours, the wardens seem to think that they will still be open next year, but beyond that they're not sure. It would be CRIMINAL and a real loss if this site were to be bulldozed for yet another housing estate. So come on Caravan Club & Worthing Council, get your act together and preserve this wonderful little oasis of peace and tranquillity.
We would have given this site 10/10 on all counts but unfortunately have to knock a point off for lack of a toilet block. Such a shame. Perhaps we should get a petition going to save this site for the future.

This is a lovely site with a very nice relaxed feel about it. Site people are very helpful and friendly and accommodating.
Pitches are quite generous and even though there is no real facilities for children the wide open spaces enable children to run around safely and entertain themselves.
We have visited some 5 times this year and fully enjoyed our stay. Location to beach and towns is good, just shame the pub next to the site has closed but the Swallows Return is only about a 10 to 15 minute walk away and is a really nice pub with good beer and food.
It's a pity the shower block is no longer available so you need to be self sufficient with washing and toilet facilities.
Disposal and water fill up points are well located around the site and are excellent.
I would certainly recommend this site if you want a nice quite relaxing site to chill out and only the lack of Toilet Block facilities has stopped us giving it 10 out of 10 score.

This is our 6th visit to this site. Over the years the shower block has closed and the site pitches reduced.
A lovely site, peaceful and scenic. 10 min car journey to the sea.
Couple of pubs within walking distance. Major supermarkets and garden centre's within reach.
Must use your own caravan toilet and shower.
Sit outside and watch the world go by.
Wardens very helpful.
Already planning our next visit before it closes for the winter.

Visited this site quite a few times now.
We first came here when the toilet block was open. Due to the council and red tape etc. The toilet block is shut down, so you have to use your own toilet and shower. There are chemical toilet emptying points around the site.
Its a peaceful site, surrounded by trees.
You have a choice of hard standing or grass pitches. Most are level, but some need a bit of levelling.
The main town of Worthing is about 10 mins away by car. So if you want to go shopping they have all the main stream shops you want.
The public house next to the site has closed down, so you could walk it to the next pub - Sussex Yeoman, about 15-20 min walk. Or the the Swallows Return, again about 15-20 min walk.
There is a number of garden centres along the A259. So if its raining you could visit these.
Just further along the road you have the main supermarkets, ie Sainsbury's, Asda and Morrisons.

Well, this site is still up and running despite the reviews from a few years ago suggesting it was about to close. On arrival, we were greeted by an excellent team who were very helpful on what was our first touring caravan outing. The site is well kept and well run. As many have previously reported, there is no toilet block, and in some way, that is a great pity as we (as do many others), have an older van with older limited facilities on board. Also, although we had no children with us, we could see that other than a football kick about area, there was no other play area for kids. Those facilities would have added the icing to a very lush cake! As others have mentioned, there is a short but adequate dog walk at the edge of the site. Many thanks to the wonderful staff at Northbrook Farm who are a credit to the Caravan Club.

Booked for one night via Caravan Club and arrived about lunchtime on a sunny day with about a tenth of the pitches in use.
Lovely quiet site located close to good facilities and nice dog walks. We visited Highdown Vineyard which is located off the main road, (A259 I think) and had a great meal there while enjoying a glass of their own wine.
There is also a pub next door. Lovely site for a peaceful stay on large pitches.

Have visited this lovely site many many times and although others have said the writing's on the wall for Northbrook Farm we've heard that it's staying for 2011 and hopefully beyond! Such good news & long may it continue.
As others have said there are no toilet/shower blocks but that doesn't bother us as we have on board facilities. The play area in the ring has gone but there is still a good size pitch at the far side of the site with goal posts etc. Sadly quite a few children still play in the old play area which can be a bit annoying when ball games threaten damage to nearby caravans.
The dog walk on site is fine but also not far from base there is the wonderful 'Highdown Hill' - don't miss it,it's great. The site itself is wonderfully peaceful and the Wardens are kindness itself - always more than happy to help and have in fact been a huge help to us. They are such friendly, nice people and are just perfect for this site. We cannot thank them enough. Definitely our No 1 site!

Great site- wardens were very helpful- parking our van for us with their tractor so as to avoid us having to go on waterlogged grass! Pity about the surrounding area- the site is bordered on three sides by a (noisy) housing estate, a rat-run road and a tennis club.
A brand new Tesco superstore is close by, there are walks from the site to the surrounding hills. Goring seafront is only a couple of miles away and the station is only a mile away.
The site itself is lovely but I got the feeling that it will not be there for much longer. Bring very strong pegs as we found it impossible to get pegs into the ground- even having drilled pilate holes with a masonry bit!

Northbrook is about 15 minutes drive from Wothing Town Centre, Littlehampton and Arundel. Brighton and Chichester is as easy to get to with the nearby A27 at only 30 minutes drive on a good day.
Upon arrival the Warden's where very polite and during the following days could not be faulted in appearance, helpfulness and would happily pass the time of day with you.
As mentioned, there are no shower or toilet blocks and are not likely to be. The site has the blocks but they are out of use due to a cracked main and with Worthing Borough Council looking at not renewing the lease of the site so as to build the new West Durrington Estate, The Caravan Club will not invest the money with such a short lease to go.
I loved it here, the rabbits are wonderful to watch at duck and due to having no toilet blocks, the site was wonderfully peaceful.
There is a certain amount of background noise from the nearby Titnore Lane which runs nearby but as all of Worthing's roads suffer from undue delays in peak times, Titnore Lane is used very much as a rat run.
The playground is good for them moments that you need the kids to be entertained and a small cleared area provides a good area for small games.
All in all, Northbrook is worth a visit and certainly worth the money but please remember that there are no showers etc.
The writing is on the wall for Northbrook Farm as The Caravan Club has just opened its new Littlehampton Caravan Club Site not 8 miles away.

Well, this was our first CC site and we were not disappointed. Friendly, helpful and courteous staff, an immaculately kept site in semi-rural surroundings. After the pre-arrival confusion of are there/aren't there shower/toilets, we settled in very nicely on this lovely site.
We chose a grassed pitch and are glad we did as we were told by some others already there, that the hardstandings are VERY hard, and bend even the toughest rock pegs.
Only one niggle here. Road noise. We had pitch number 72, and could hear heavy and persistent traffic from 7am to 9am and 5pm to 7pm on the nearby 'Lane'. (No problem on other side of site though, it's just where we had decided to pitch.)
Otherwise we loved it, very quiet and easy going. Short dog walk on site although Highdown Hill is a must for walkers with dogs. Very short drive to Tesco. Goring is excellent for MH's, free and unrestricted parking, beach that allows dogs.
