Things have changed at this lovely site now, there being no shower blocks at all, but as we don't need facilities it is without doubt our favourite Caravan Club site. We spent the early May Bank Holiday here and the weekend just gone(29th May) - couldn't ask for anything better - just perfect in every way.
Only half the site is in use now due to having no loos/showers and there are just 2 wardens in attendance, but what a brilliant job they do, they couldn't be nicer - you are made to feel so welcome. We, together with our Mum in law would like to publicly thank the lovely gentleman and lady who are doing such a great job at this site. We can't wait to go back (wont have to wait long! We're back the weekend after next and have many other weekends booked also!).
If you do stay here make sure you visit Highdown Hill - it's beautiful and if you're a dog owner they will love it too! We didn't venture far from the site this weekend - it was so peaceful and we had the most perfect weather ever, a really wonderful peaceful and pleasant weekend. The only bad thing about this lovely place is having to leave it!

Let me just set the record straight - there are NO toilet/shower facilities on this site. There used to be, but they have since been condemned due to flooding and so are no longer available for use.
This is however, a nice site - but unfortunately it is due to close at the end of the season. The staff have been reduced and so have the number of pitches available to pitch on. There were some lovely grass pitches but they were no longer available and the pitches that were available were rather sporadically spaced. But nevertheless, we had a pleasant weekend.
The site is tidy and well run. There is hardstanding and grass pitches, with some shady tree planting too. There a few basics available to purchase in the reception area and a well informed information centre, with brochures and leaflets of local areas of interest including the local eateries. The warden had a bit of an attitude when we politely asked whether we could use a pitch that appeared to have electricity (but no white marker)- he replied that if we weren't happy, we could always go somewhere else! After a 3 hour drive? I think not!

Spent last weekend at the site and I have to say it was great. Well maintained with good quality mainly level pitches. As with most Caravan Club sites the toilets are spotless however I should think if the site was full that the one toilet block might struggle.
There's a large Tesco, Chinese takeaway and newsagent only a 3 min drive away.
We didn't venture into Worthing (what's the point with great respect!) but we did travel to Littlehampton's West Beach which is only a 20 minute drive away and you can let dogs off the lead all year round

Hi just back from northbrook farm caravan club site Worthing
This site was a credit to the wardens who look after it. The grass areas where well maintained no rubbish at all
Toilet block was well clean and tidy
Real peaceful midweek stay very quiet and relaxing just how we like it
Brighton. Arundle. Worthing. Littlehampton all within a short drive.
If we took the grandkids they would have enjoyed wide open space to play on and the wild life[ rabbits/ birds]
Will be going back for another mid weeker later this year .

We have stayed at this site several times now and we have enjoyed every visit. As previously posted the children's play area is minimal however it serves as a focal point for the young 'ens to meet new friends. The pitches are spacious and well laid out. The facilities are maintained to the usual club standards and you will receive a warm welcome. As a base for exploring the South Coast you can't go far wrong. Excellent transport links can whisk you to Brighton in less than 30 minutes and Portsmouth in less than 50 minutes (although avoid the A27 through Worthing at PEAK times). The seafront at Worthing is geared more along the lines of cafe culture, head to Littlehampton or Brighton if your children a seeking the thrill of arcade machines and rides.
Worthing has a fantastic range of restaurants and the usual range of high street shops and boutiques. Near the site is Highdown towers which serves as a nice spot to start exploring the local downs.
All in all the site is well worth a visit and is suitable for the young and old alike.

Stayed here over the Easter break. Great weather. This site is quiet and very well kept. The kids play area is minimal. No walks from the site as it it totally enclosed by a fence. This site is ideal for adults to just chill out at. The local shops are not far from the site and the shopping centre at Worthing is very good. The toilets and showers were of the usual high club site standard.

Due to normal Friday evening rushing we knew we weren't going to make the 8pm deadline, but having rung the site the very nice warden said no problem, they'd wait for us - which they did with no ill feelings. As the old saying goes "Nice wardens maketh campsite". Well, it's an old saying since I said it a while back! We had a fantastic weekend here at Northbrook Farm - my 13 year old son and 2 dogs were all happy - dog walk fine if a bit short, and the site was quiet and spaciously laid out. We camped on the edge near the dog walk for obvious reasons - if you take dogs you cannot pitch near the children's play area which might deter some parents of small children with dogs in tow. We walked down the road to a Tesco which seemed to be in the middle of a housing estate, but was very convenient. No housing noise, traffic noise, and in fact one of the nicest Caravan Club sites i've been to. We'll be going back there for another weekend at the beginning of July. We didn't use the single toilet block - which was situated right on the other side of the site from us, but as our van has all we need, it wasn't necessary for us. The hook ups were 3 vans to a stand - my cable only JUST reached the post. TV reception via the post was fine. We drove down to the beach at Ferring, which was almost empty. You can take dogs onto it, provided you take away their mess!

What an absolutely lovely campsite - warm, friendly wardens, beautifully laid out, good size pitches and a nice location (even though your not very far from the A27). The toilet block was immaculate and they even provided washing up bowls for the preparation areas.
We only had a two night break - but felt totally relaxed and rested. It all felt completely safe for the kids to roam freely on their bikes and nice and quiet even though we were on the field with the kids play area (although this was not a school holiday) - Small shop on site selling the basics - but not that far to a tesco express if your missing the bacon for you sunday morning fry up. Will definitely be returning soon.

March 2005 We spent a week here over EASTER,we arrived on the Thursday lunchtime, having booked in January a hard standing for a Motorhome near the facilities and stating I`m disabled - which the CaravanClub put on the booking form. However we were told on arrival there were only a few hard standings left and to choose one
We ended up right over the other side of the Park. Apart from this and the fact that every unit seemed to have at least two yapping dogs we had a nice break. I knew the area as my sister lives in Worthing but we went the other way to Bognor Regis, Littlehampton, Arundel and its Castle.

August 2004 Didn't know what to expect when we booked this site as there was no actual picture of the site in the Caravan Club Magazine. But WOW what a lovely surprise. Really lovely site, great Wardens, really friendly and helpful, we ended up staying nearly 3 weeks. (While we were there a photographer from the Caravan Club Magazine was on site and took our picture, may be in next year's mag!).
When we arrived we were told to choose any vacant pitch we wanted. This was great as it gave us a good chance to look round. Found there were two areas, one which families with children tended to choose around the good playground. The other area, which we chose is a really large grass area about the size of a football field with all the pitches around the edge, the middle area is kept as open space. No games allowed, so it is really nice and quiet here. JSo even though the site is near to town it has a country feel with lots of trees etc.
There is only one shower/toilet block, but we found no problem even though it was high season and school holidays which we don't usually choose.
Tesco and pubs with good food within walking distance.
Lovely quiet beaches 5 mins by car at Goring on Sea and Ferring. Free car parking all along the road here, and grassed area between road and beach for kit flying, games, picnics etc. Stony beach but sand when you get in the water. Yes, we had brilliant weather and went in the sea most days.
Also, across the road from the site there is a lovely walk up on to the downs and some gardens. Loads of places to go for day trips out along the coast from Portsmouth to Brighton. We used the train as there is an excellent service along the coast stopping at all the little stations.
Would recommend this site to anyone - we will be going back next year, probably for most of the summer!!
