This is an excellent campsite with extremely friendly staff and permanent residents.
The grounds are fantastic for children, providing plenty of space to play and two climbing frames. The shower block is clean and provides excellent facilities. There is a room to wash your clothing and dirty dishes.
As a family of 5 with 3 young boys we couldn't have asked for a nicer environment of staff to make out short trip memorable and enjoyable.

Visited the campsite this May bank holiday, we were greeted by clive the site manager who showed us where to pitch up our tent and asked several times if there's anything we need and if we were happy with everything.
We had a lovely weekend, clean bathrooms and showers a park for the kids,
An all-round clean and quiet campsite we are looking forward to visiting again and would recommend this site.

Thought we had booked Allhallows Haven so quite a shock when arrived. The camp site was 70% workers. There is one toilet and one shower which I didn't use as it required a jet wash and sanitising. There is no lighting on the site and it's very uneven.
Upon arrival we were shown to our pitch by a exceptionally nice and friendly warden who was very helpful. The site is silent at night very peaceful but at 7am the workers loaded their transits and returned at 5pm to unload. This could be a lovely site but it's a long way off at the moment.
A mile down the road is a post office with limited food. The chippy next to it was £7. 00 for one fish chips and peas. The fish was massive but it took more room up in the bin. Overall ok for a one night stop off but wouldn't stay again. I had no children so wouldn't no about child friendliness other than the resident workers children were very friendly.

Arrived at this site on a Friday night in the pouring rain for a two night stay in a tent.
Not the most impressive site
£15 per night inc hook up
Positives
Quiet location
Helpful owner
Negatives
No lighting or hand drying facilities in the toilet block
Dog faeces in camping areas
Camping areas spoilt by deep holes created by previous long term caravans
Bar never open
Doubt whether I would revisit

We stayed here during the Olympics as the owner said he had a tv in the on site bar massive plus side for me.
The wet rooms here are amazing. Lovely toilets and heated towel rails.
The kids climbing frame area is fun for them apart from the rocks that are put in there to stop them hitting the lawn mower.
Good for camper vans with electric hook ups, not too private for tents though, we stayed in a 5 man tent but forgot pegs, the owner kindly brought some around for us.
The bad points and reasons why we wont be coming again.
We paid for a fire pit and wood but didn't get it at 7 as promised when I asked for it at 8 I was told to 'find the pit near the bins and a massive pile of wood is at the back' the pit was a broken small BBQ and the wood was non existent, just a few very old damp tree branches.
Before ringing I asked if the bar was open and if they would be putting the Olympics on, he assured me it is and he would. By 6 it was still not open, he said he's having some trouble with sky so would sort it soon. By 8 I had missed the gymnastics and was sober as a judge, I rang him up at about this and my wood but he gave me the same story. The bar didn't open at all.
We were not happy, but because of the lack of alcohol and fire we went to bed early
Not that much to do in the area that we could find.

First the positives.
Excellent location for us to visit family
The owner was very friendly
Apart from a contractor we were the only people on site. So when we had the grand kids to stay with us for the weekend the kids were able to run around the central grass area and around the side of our van. There was no one and nothing they could disturb
EHU's
Great play area
Great site toilet facilities
Wet rooms with 'waterfall' showers and back up electric ones on the wall (IF they were clean enough to be able to use)
Shops/chippie/kebaks Etc within half a mile
Pub (although run down very welcoming) 1 mile
Now the negatives :
Prices were extortionate for off season
The site looked like it hasn't been touched for months. Grass was way too long, 100's of rotten apples off the trees were everywhere. Instead of being picked up they've been left to lie and rot.
Dog faeces ( the owners dogs were allowed free run of the site and they pooed all over our pitch. ) Sadly they no longer have the Great Dane but the other two certainly made some amount of mess. The kids of course were running through all this and bringing the mess back into the van. Not nice at all. The owners little dogs constant barking and behaviour caused the kids some concern. Our dogs are extremely passive and quiet.
The toilets were absolutely filthy. On day 2 of our stay I went and asked if they were going to be cleaned and was told the cleaner was off sick and they hadn't been cleaned for 4 days ! owner would be there in 30 mins to clean them. Well he did clean them. Not that day but the next but they were still filthy.
No heating in the toilet block only electric towel rail that was on a timer that we didn't control. Inadequate to provide any sort of heating.
We were told the high level security gate would be pulled over and locked as it was only opened in case we arrived whilst the owner was out. This never happened. So there was no security measures on site.

Stayed for one night over a bank holiday weekend and the campsite was pretty busy.
They have 3 bathroom units with wet room showers, sink and toilet which are very nicely done but no extra toilet block meant a queue in the morning to use the loo having to wait for people who were showering.
The kids play area was nice and very safe for kids to run about the site in general.
The tents were all very close together and was quite noisy, the disco and then karaoke went on a bit late for my liking, was very loud and the 'after party' of people heading back to tents was woken up as well.
Might consider a return trip just not at such a busy time of year!

Chose this site at late notice for the bank holiday weekend as they accepted dogs and had space. We stayed two nights, two people and a dog (£34). Were walmly greeted on arrival and shown to our pitch, not the best ground for tents, no slopes but quite uneven. The pitch we were on, a lot of the grass was dead and what was there was quite long. I can also confirm other reviews that there was a lot of dog mess on the pitches as well as a lot of litter. There is no 'dogs on leads' policy, the owners dog roams free, as do some of the guest dogs. There is a small dog walk out the back of the site but this was overgrown during our stay, and was due a cutback so advised to avoid. Something I would therefore question was the need to charge £1. 50 a night for dogs as no facilities for dogs are provided. The facilities for humans were as listed. The toilet/wetroom/washrooms were pretty dirty and smelt of wee. No soap/handwash was provided and initially no hand-drying although towels were added later (and then not changed). Having only 3 of these rooms just doesn't work. On a bank holiday weekend with probably around 50 people on site (and far from all pitches taken) the toilets and sinks were in a terrible state and you had to queue at most times. There was also several occasions were loo roll had run out and no spares provided. Also of note was the fairly low large windows (non-frosted) in the shower area. The on site bar was like a miniture pub - well stocked, reasonably priced, had a TV showing football and was run by friendly barstaff (owners). The first of two nights we stayed, there was also karoke laid on. Problem is if you don't want to be part of this, one of the speakers and flashing disco lights were on the doorstep pointing out over the camp. The loud music finally stopped at nearly 2am but the noise didn't stop there as various groups moved back to their camps and continued loudly most of the night. There were two near punch-ups that we heard, a lot of shouting and swearing as well as people vomiting near our tent. Needless to say we didn't get much sleep and felt intimidated. The second night we stayed however everyone had hangovers and it was nice and quiet!
The local area doesn't have a great amount to offer, two small shops, takeaway and chip shop in local village. Scenery was quite pretty if somewhat industrial being near powerplant. Couple of reasonable dog walks found nearby.
In summary if you are a family who likes a campsite with few rules, where the kids and dogs can run around while you relax with a few drinks and all of you are free to make as much noise as you want, this is the campsite for you. If however you are after a more peaceful, relaxing stay with clean facilities, probably best to try elsewhere.

We had a weekend at this site and overall were very happy with everything. The owners are very welcoming and due to the number of pitches free allowed us to choose where we would like to be.
The wet rooms were very well done, clean and spacious. The fact that there were no additional toilets on their own could cause issues I am sure in the busy season but not a major concern for us.
The bar wasn't open when we went but that wasn't an issue for us although from what we saw I am sure it makes a nice change in the evening. The children's play area was lovely.
My one issue with the site was that the grass was quite long which didn't help with rainy weather
We would return here but hope that perhaps the issues I have raised could be addressed.

Just spent 3 nights at this campsite. The owner is very friendly and helpful, my friend and I were struggling to get our tent pegs in and he soon appeared with a mallet! Then we ran out of pegs and he appeared with spares!
The toilet and showers are lovely new wetrooms, even had music playing in the evening. We didn't find a problem queuing for them, but can imaging if the site was full there might be a wait. The washing up / laundry facilities are good too.
There was karaoke on one night in the small bar area, we didn't join in but was fun listening to others and wasn't too loud that it disturbed the kids sleeping.
A very nice play ground that all the kids loved. Chickens and cockerel (vocal but not a problem for us) and lovely fresh eggs.
We will definitely return to this site.
