What a wonderful surprise when turning into site very well kept. The toilets and showers are spotless 2 of each male & female pitches are hard standing level and well spaced not anything to do for kids. Woodall spa is about 20 mins walk for everything you need very good cafes & bakers/butchers.
All in all a very well kept site peaceful and quiet a credit to owners & wardens we will definitely be going back for a re-visit.

This is a really wonderful site - very quiet and well laid out. Best suited to adults because the nearest play area is quite far away in Woodhall Spa. The staff are very accommodating and the toilet and ablutions are always very clean. The area is well suited to anyone who like to cycle and there is a very good pub just a few hundred metres away from the park. We visit this park on a regular basis and have always loved our stay. Highly recommended.

A lovely, peaceful site approximately 30 minutes “steady” walk to the centre of Woodhall Spa.
On arrival we were met with a friendly welcome and shown to our pitch. All the pitches were hard standing and were well spaced. The charge was £16 per night. The site only accepts cash payment for pitches. The park was very quiet despite being nearly full. The park does allow children but there were no facilities for children and may have been quiet for that reason.
As previous posts mention the men’s toilets are a bit small. I had to queue for the shower one morning and it was a squeeze waiting as others were using the sinks and urinals etc. However they are well maintained and were spotlessly clean, as were other areas of the site.
The site allows dogs and lots of people had a dog. You are not allowed to “walk” your dog on site though. But the site is well placed for lots of lovely walks. Across the road from the site is the Woodhall Spa country park which has lots of walks. This can be accessed across from the site.
The small town of Woodhall Spa is an approximate 30 minutes’ walk away through pleasant woodland areas. Lots of places to eat and to obtain groceries were available. As mentioned on previous posts the bakery is well worth a visit to see what delights it has on offer!
If I had one criticism it would be the number of signs with rules on for the site. These seemed endless!
Overall a very nice site and would definitely stay here again.

As others have said a very pleasant and well looked after site. Some may not be happy with the mens toilet block. Two wash basins, not enclosed and right next to the urinals may not appeal to the shy types. Not enough clothes hooks. Hot water to the wash basins took an age to come through but showers were very warm and easily controllable. They were though spotlessly clean. The Chemical drain point was not the best I've seen. Trying to keep the toilet contents aimed at the centre of an ordinary toilet bowl was not the easiest thing to do an splashes were inevitable and as there was no hose on the tap cleaning up after use was difficult.
My telephone booking for two long caravans was accepted but when we arrived there was confusion as to where we could be pitched because we were told the longer pitches had all been booked. This was amicably sorted out but all the pitches would have accommodated our vans and to add to the situation the site was not full.
We went to pay by card only to be told they weren't accepted. There was no way I could have known this before hand so a trip to the bank was necessary immediately.
Overall a very pleasant site and very reasonable and yes I would return.

This is a nice site for Adults only Lovely shower block kept immaculate. We were made welcome and shown to our pitch by the warden. We stayed 4 nights and will return. Pitches are well spaced and level. There is no provision for children on the park, which is a mile from the busy inland resort of Woodhall Spa which has lots to do including an outdoor heated swimming pool. This campsite is ideal for a long weekend or longer stay if you want to explore the Lincolnshire wolds

My review is very typical of the 9 before this. Feels very 'adult', but children are welcome and we're there. But as people have said already, there is no playground, so those families thinking of visiting Glen Lodge need to bring something for their kids to keep them busy.
Janet is lovely, really friendly. She made us very welcome.
Showers were hot and free. The block itself was very clean. Bins were tidy and not overflowing (itself a plus point that many other sites fail on these days). There is a utility room with modern washing machine.
Hard-standing pitches are generous and well spaced.
I'm not sure if I looked hard enough, but I couldn't find a waste water point near the chemical disposal point, so had to walk across the site to do both things (which I normally do together). But that's maybe my fault for not looking properly near the CDP? If it is the case however, it's the only slight niggle we had.
We have no problems recommending Glen Lodge, for a lovely peaceful getaway. We'll certainly go again, thank you to the staff for looking after us.

Just had four very sunny days here, site is lovely and clean with flower borders all in bloom. Hard standing for your caravan. Warden very friendly and helpful. No dog walk area but lovely big field up the lane from site, and the woods further down the road. It was soooo peaceful and quiet and other campers very friendly. Ice cream van that came round was a bonus! Only downside is there is no play area for children so may well get bored unless you make your own entertainment. Will definitely be going back to this site for another visit. Woodhall spa is a lovely small village with quiet a few shops, cake shop is wicked!

Lovely quiet site about a mile out of Woodhall spa, as said before this site has the feel of an adult only site. The site is well kept and laid out with flower displays and hardstanding pitches. Very reasonably priced. Only down side was there were only 2 toilets and 2 showers in the toilet block, but they were very clean.
Woodhall Spa itself is very attractive and was worth a mornings wander with a few small independent shops, a couple of supermarkets, cafes, takeaways and a chip shop. Also walks in the woods and a large park.
Would go again if ever in that neck of the woods.

I have stayed at this site several times and was so impressed I stored my Fleetwood there for several years. The couple that run the site (Janet and Len) are great and helpful with a common sense approach. The modest toilet/shower block is always clean and the site of kept tidy. This is a small site to enjoy peace and quiet, gladly you won't find a club, bar, arcade or any other source of noise apart from the odd passing aircraft from the nearby RAF base - fabulous. At night, it is so quiet you can hear the silence. We kept our youngsters amused but they can play dens' in the small wood at the rear of the site. There is no specific children's' play park / area. There is no shop on site but Woodghall Spa is only one mile away where there is a Budgens supermarket and many other small shops. There is also an open air swimming pool in Woodhall which is good if the sun has got it's hat on. Woodhall itself is a quaint, well preserved town with a feel of the 1950's about it which is no bad thing. Nearby things to see are the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and museum at Coningsy, the private aviation museum at East Kirby (they have a Lancaster also) and Tatteshall Castle to name a few. The memorial to the Dam Busters' Squadron is in the centre of Woodhall Spa.

A lovely, quiet and well run site. It feels very rural but the town of Woodhall is only a short walk away. The site is very well laid out and the pitches are roomy and level.
The toilet block is immaculate, and the wardens keep the site beautiful. It has the feel of an 'adults only' site; there are children allowed but there isn't really anything for them to do.
If you want peace and quiet, and a relaxing weekend, this is the kind of site that just lets you sit back and chill.
