Nice clean site with plenty of hard standings. Free showers with piped music, about 1 1/2 miles in to Woodhall spa with supermarket and other local shops.Good place to stay if you want to visit battle of Britain museum at Conningsby R.A.F base. Plenty of fishing in the area if thats what you like. The only negative was that if you are at the bottom end of site it,s a fair walk to the chemical toilet emptying point carrying a full tank. Would go for another long weekend again without doubt.

We have just returned from a weeks stay at Glen lodge. The owners were very friendly, the site was immaculate and most people seemed to know each other. I would not recommend this site to people with small children as there was no play area. This site is an ideal base for touring around lincolnshire. It was always nice to return back to the site after a day away as it was welcoming, well kept and relaxing and very quite.

August 2005 Have just stayed at this site - it is a real gem! So quiet and peaceful, beautifully kept , the plants and grass are in pristine condition. Spotlessly clean showers and toilets with piped music , all free. Freshly pulled potatoes from the owners garden were on sale to the campers , a lovely touch. Can't wait to go back.

June 2005 Very nice site, found it by accident when everywhere else fully booked. Wouldn't look anywhere else now. Nice cycle ride into Woodhall Spa and pleasant walks in the lanes. Shower blocks clean and tidy, as was whole site. Not bad price at £11.50/night for motorhome inc. electric & awning. Pitches big and well spaced. Owners very friendly and helpful even though we turned up in middle of downpour. Will go again for sure.

July 04 This is a very nice site for a short stay, most of the caravan pitches are hard standing and are very spacious. There is a grass field which I think they use for tents and caravans without hook ups. The site is very well kept with flower borders and shrubs around. The toilets and showers, all free, are extremely clean with piped music which was a nice touch. It also had washing and drying facilities. There didn't appear to be a play area and although there were a few children around I got the feeling that this site was more suited to adults.
There is no dog walk but this did not matter as there was a very quiet lane outside the site and in Woodhall Spa there are various parks and forests which the dogs loved.
Although nearly full this site had a nice calm quiet feel to it, if it's hustle bustle you want don't come here, if you want a nice relaxed break then this is the place for you.
