Nice location beside the loch. A drive around glencoe is a must.
Nice waterfall walk across the road from site and take the corran ferry to the pub. It’s free for walk on passengers.
Not one of my favourite sites, Fort William is more central for attractions.

Fantastic location with views down the loch. Helpful staff, though as is typical with Caravan Club sites, quite stringent on the rules, and heavy on the Covid restrictions (why, for example, close off 2 of 3 dishwashing sinks when the dishwashing area is outside?? Just close the one in the middle!). Band system for the toilets a simple enough idea but not stuck to by all.
Not the site's fault, but perhaps needs more explanation/enforcement. Also somewhat puzzling system for awning/no awning - we didn't have an awning but had to book a pitch with awning, which meant we couldn't choose a site by the lochshore. Water pressure for shower completely inadequate;
CC sites are expensive if you're not a member and whilst I do not expect luxury I would like a reasonable shower please.

Fabulous site. Efficient, friendly & Covid safe check in. Amazing views over loch.
Great dog walking in nearby forest. Corran ferry nearby to Ardnamuchan peninsula. Safe cycling all the way to Glencoe village, stopped off at Ballachulish Quarry Cafe for excellent coffee & cakes. Hardware store across road worth a look too.
Only managed to book site for 3 nights as so popular but will definitely return as so much more exploring to do.

Booked for the first day of opening after the COVID lockdown. The site telephoned us a couple of days before to confirm that our estimated time of arrival was still as stated on the original booking form. It was and they were expecting a large number of arrivals on the first day of opening.
When we arrived we were met by a very friendly warden who welcomed us, gave us a welcome pack and directions where to find a pitch. This was our fourth visit so we had an idea where we wanted to be so we were delighted to get a pitch right on the waters edge!
All the facilities were open but we prefer to use our own except the wash up.
A very pleasant - again - two days. Very pleasant and helpful wardens. Wonderful location.
The only downside is the dog walk on the beach where dogs are allowed off the lead. As usual some take advantage of this and allow their dogs off the lead everywhere which is not pleasant for small nervous dogs on a lead with large dogs jumping all over them. Also might be a problem with families with young children in the school holidays.

Well what can you say. The location is superb. It’s simply stunning. Showers and toilets have a band system which I felt worked well and I felt happy using the facilities.
We got a taxi in Fort William although the bus stop is not far from the site. We went on the train to Mallaig.
It’s exactly the same track as the Jacobite steam train but much cheaper.
If you don’t require an awning you are allocated a blue peg which puts you by the side of the Loch except for a couple of blue pegs on the second row back.
The wardens were delightful and so welcoming.
It goes without saying I will visit this again.

What can be said about this little slice of paradise? Bliss!
Ok it’s a club site so quite heavy on rules which some of which could be taken away and let people use more common sense but the site is still magnificent!
Stunning view, clean quality facilities. We will be back.

We’ve stayed here several times and is one of my favourite sites. The view over the loch is superb. Try and get a lochside pitch.
Due to Covid, there were some restrictions on the numbers allowed in the toilet area, and it seemed to work well, despite the site being full. The toilets and showers are always immaculate.
There is a nice walk up to a local waterfall and around the forest with even better views than the site. For food, the local restaurant was closed but on previous visits was okay.
You could always try getting the ferry over to Ardgour and having drinks and food there. The ferry is free for passengers and takes a couple of mins. Don’t miss the last ferry back!

Can't fault the location of this campsite on the banks of Loch Linnhe but be aware of the limits of the site in these Covid times.
There are no provisions for sale on the site and the closest shop in Onich is closed for the rest of 2020.
Buses do run to Fort William but it is a reduced service so you really need access to a vehicle to drive to there (10 miles away) to do shopping. The A82 between Bunree and Fort William is not suitable for cycling. There are no cafes or restaurants open locally within walking distance.
The site is well managed for social distancing but one of the consequences of this is that only 3 people at a time are allowed in the toilet block and as there are approximately 100 pitches on site, queues can occur.

What an absolutely fantastic location! Site situated on edge of Loch Linnhe with magnificent views of the Highland Mountains to the North of Loch Linnhe. No wonder this site is fully booked throughout the year?
Usual C&MC standard for the facilities, although a tad dated. Site has large hardstanding pitches, good phone reception, TV and internet connection. Fort William 8 miles to the North East along the very busy A82 has Morrisons, Tesco, Aldi & Lidl supermarkets together with local shops and eateries.
Ferry 10 minutes’ walk from site, takes you to the Northern (quitter) side of Loch Linnhe and is free for foot passengers and bikes (£ 8. 50 for a car and passengers). Further 10 minute walk across A82 takes you to the start of the Inchree waterfall trail. A must visit involves the 20 mile circular tour around the nearby Loch Leven and Glencoe. Kinlochleven (at the top of Loch Leven) has a small but very informative museum telling the story of the Aluminium story in the area.
Lovely site for some peaceful r&r with delightful Loch & Mountain views – if you can get booked onto the site?

The recent wardens are absolutely lovely. Been holidaying at this site for approximately 9 years now.
Site is immaculate. Great play park for the kids. Access to the loch for kayaks etc.
All the usual services for tourers and motorhomes only. Great base for touring the area or staying put.
Plenty information available for surrounding area. Quiet at night and fabulous for star gazing in the autumn months.
Highly recommend.
