Friendly, helpful & accommodating staff.
Very clean, tidy, quiet & spacious site.
Wonderful facilities.
Did not use the neighbouring restaurant but it looks nice.
Handy for walking & cycling of which some of it is through the edges of the fields.

I’ve reviewed this site only last year and standard remains high. Hygiene remains to the fore just now and everything spic and span.
Just to update, two cabins for rent and extra landscaping are new features. Restaurant (off site) closed Monday Tuesday just now.
Weather may be deterring some but the site is reasonably well filled.
We are here for a week before heading to another gem - Woodlands at nearby Carnoustie.
I recommend this site

Easy to find, check in simple. Lovely quiet site, very well spaced pitches. Landscaping nice and tidy, looks recently done.
Toilets and showers clean and nice to use. Sinclairs restaurant very close and do takeaway meals!
Will visit again.

This was our 2nd visit during the post - lockdown period.
The site was well set out to keep visitors apart with a one way system set up.
Very clean all around and felt safe to be there.
Good restaurant behind the site.
Difficult to rate child friendliness as none on site
Some services closed due to Covid and people encouraged to use their own if possible

As stated in several other reviews this was a very peaceful stay and absolutely ideal for getting to the many hundreds of walks in the area and into the Cairngorms which is well worth a visit. Dog friendly and again ideal for taking dogs walking.
Shower blocks warm with plenty of room in the shower areas. Only one tiny comment - would perhaps benefit from a shower curtain to help avoid water spreading into dressing area. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
Difficult to leave a rating for child friendliness as there were no children on site while we visited. However, a plus point is definitely the child size toilet seats in the ladies. Making it much easier for mums and toddlers. So score based on that alone.
Thanks to owners and friendly staff for warm welcome.

Was pleasantly surprised by the facilities on this site, in particular the hygiene standards during the Covid pandemic.
Staff were friendly and helpful both via email prior to our visit and then on-site at check in.
Will visit again and would recommend!

Great site with lovely views. Super clean facilities. Restaurant next door was good, very expensive wine tho!
Excellent walk into Forfar directly from site through picturesque fields. Friendly staff.

This remains a very nice clean, well laid out site. Previous reviews remain accurate. 50 metre walk on main road take you to walking access road to the lovely nature reserve. Path past the restaurant leads via the almost adjacent golf course and into Forfar (1 hour). Pitches have electric and water- super pitches have drainage too. WiFi was a bit intermittent while we were there but free. 3G works ok.
Better net speed available at cost but not used. The restaurant is very nice but a little pricey in my opinion and lowest price wine at £23 on a bit high for a rural eatery I think.
Nearby Brechin, Montrose, Arbroath and Forfar easily accessed with usual supermarket selection. Bus service to Forfar 4 times per day
£25 pn for couple with caravan In August is not bad.
Site virtually full midweek tells its own story.

Lovely peaceful site in a pleasant location. Very busy with caravans / campervans at the weekend but quiet during the week. Nice views from the tent pitches next to reception.
Tents were well spaced, toilets / showers were newish and kept clean. Emma the site owner was very helpful.
The site is near a main road so a bit of road noise but nothing that would keep you awake.
Near enough the Angus glens for hill walking and lots of quieter toads for cycling in the area.

A great clean site in a lovely setting.
Well managed in keeping facilities clean.
They have antibacterial spray in every toilet cubicle for you.
Nice walks from the site to other places,
I will definitely visit again.
