A beautifully kept Camping and Caravanning Club Certified Site which is open all year and has a real ace up its sleeve!
Resident proprietors very helpful. Quiet, but not secluded location. Nice level field, generous size for 5 pitches all with electric hook up. Good shower and W.C. facilities.
About 600 metres from Banham Zoo for the family and about 500 metres from the Banham Cider Shed for everybody else! Banham Cider Shed is renown firstly for it’s own “Farmhouse Cider”, which comes either dry or sweet, and you can mix it to your particular taste. Renown secondly as a live music venue. They have all sorts of music. The evening we went, it was an octet playing Israeli style music. You cannot get much different than that!
And the ace up its sleeve? Well that comes in the shape of a good size, well heated indoor swimming pool that you can rent by the hour for your own private use. (So you don’t even need your cozzies!!!!)
Unhesitatingly we will be staying there again.
