I will start this review on a positive note. The owners of the site are very hospitable, warm and friendly. The campsite however was not. The site is divided into two parts, the tent pitches, (about enough room for 4 in all) are situated next to a busy road. There is no fencing or cover so passers by are able to shake your hand as they drive past. Turning your tent around allowed you to peer into the windows of the farmhouse and the family within. Its close proximity also allowed the security lighting to go on and off as we moved around our seats in the evening trying to get out of the glare of the oncoming car lights. The second part of the campsite is for caravans of which most of the is on a steep incline. The shower facilities have been recently fitted and consist of 1 toilet and 1 shower in an old prefab, it is so small in there you can shower on the toilet, which if you are as big as me you had to. There is more but you get my drift. I think this campsite is only suitable for a pull in on the way to somewhere else. (Don’t be fooled by the photographs) *
