What a great family site! Yet another visit to this friendly family run site, which is part of a working farm.

We loved it!

Our two young children love visiting all the animals, the space around the park and the play area.

We like the fact that it is a small, safe friendly site with excellent facilities.

Ruth, the owner, couldn't be more helpful and there are so many thoughtful, lovely touches around the site.

I highly recommend this site.

We have just returned from this site which was spotlessly clean throughout.

However, being March in Yorkshire, some of the land around the site had been recently flooded and the ground on the site was soft and wet. This was made worse by the fact that the pitches are very narrow being slightly wider than a caravan and the roads around the site are of a similar width. This means there is no room to reverse your van onto the gravel hardstanding without driving onto the grass! Only take a caravan in the dry months unless you have a motormover!

The toilet block was kept clean but was very small. 2 showers & 2 toilets in each of the ladies & gents. Could be a problem if all 22 pitches and the tenting areas are full.

A little bit of work upgrading this site is needed as it is let down by these details.

The site is very handy for the coastal resorts and is across the road from Eden Camp which is well worth a visit, and is not very far from York.

But for the small hardstandings etc I would have given this site 10 out of 10.

The site was perfect for us. It was very easy to find, the site was flat so would be great for tents.

The motorhome looked lovely on its pitch looking out over a picnic area with trees in autumn colours.

The showers and toilets were very clean and well maintained. All facilities were on hand.

Ruth was very friendly and always available.

We had a great time and would consider returning in the future.

Probably the best campsite we have visited in the UK.

Beautiful trees, spacious pitches, communal space and lovely kids play area all with so much attention to detail just make for a perfect holiday.

Facilities are modern and spotless. We will be back.

Once again we had a great stay at this wonderful site. It is ideal for our family with small children, who loved the play area and children's play house. They were so excited to go for walks to visit the different farm animals. As a working farm, the children saw the sheep, chickens and guinea pigs and even helped to feed the pig. As the site wasn't too big, there was no traffic to worry about.

The grounds continue to be beautifully kept. Pitches were well spaced, with areas for the children to run without bothering other residents. There are hard surfaces to park near pitches too.

The shower facilities are excellent: modern, free, constant hot water, very clean and well thought-out. Some nice family touches, eg: toddler toilet seats, steps to reach sinks and toys in kitchen to keep the children amused. The kitchen is well stocked for anything a camper might need, plus a microwave and washing machine.

So much to visit in your doorstep eg, castle Howard, Malton, Eden Camp, Flamingo Land, Wold's Way, Dalby Forest, Scarborough etc.

Ruth (owner) was so friendly and accommodating. We had another great break there. Such a lovely site!
