This is my first review I hope that it makes sense.
This site is a C&CC CS site, members only.
It is has a gentle slope, chocks are supplied. There are 2 toilets and 3 showers which are always clean, These are communial the same as the french sites. There are about 15 EHU pitches @ £9.50pn.
We visited the site over the Easter weekend. On arrival we were met by John the owner who asked us to choose a pitch. When we told him the one we had chosen, he came with us and us and helped to level the van. After we had set up we looked for him to pay he told us to pay when we were leaving. He asked if we liked eggs and said he would leave 4 outside of the awning, later that day we asked if he sold eggs when he asked why we told him we wanted 6 for the mother in law, he gave us the six and said there a freebie. The eggs are produced by his own free range birds.
The the site is ideal for walking and bike riding. it is not far from Stoke itself with Potteries, Leek is about 9 miles away with shops full of antiques. For the children Alton Towers is only 20 miles. Within a few miles there are quite a few restuarants and pubs. Les Bailey
