We stayed at this site for a week or so. The position is fantastic for travelling around kerry. However, the location would be one of the few positives going for this campsite.
The shop/reception was rarely open so it was difficult to buy tokens for the washing machines. They only took cash - no cards. The wifi was only available at the front of the park. The campers kitchen was also located at the front of the site, quite a distance from the tent areas.
The toilet blocks were kept clean for the most part but I found the showers to be extremely poor, they were cold with awful water pressure and quite often stopped well before the advertised ten minutes - I find it also bizarre that the token machine was located outside the shower cubicle.
All in all, I would say this park is well maintained, poorly staffed and does not quite match up to the standards it claims in the brochures

Stayed here for 2 nights with 3 kids between 5 and 10 years on Easter weekend 2011. Weather perfect which always helps. There was an egg hunt for the kids and other activities on the Sunday.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Was shown round the site and could have chosen any pitch we wished.
A good mixture of tents and caravans.
The site was very clean and tidy, the toilet blocks were cleaned regularly and were spotless and the many bins were emptied everyday.
Didn't use the on site shop because of close proximity to town and supermarkets.
Thought there were plenty of families on site the site was quiet from a reasonable time in the evenings.
5 mins (by car)from Killarney town and muckrosse House.
The surroundings are excellent. Waking to the views with the sound of birds and river in background was second to none.
The only negative if there was one is the site is slightly more expensive than we are used to but it was worth every cent you definitely get what you pay for.

We had 4 very enjoyable nights here at Flemmings.
The site is spotless, quiet at night time, pitches are spacious, you can choose your pitch. We overlooked beautiful woodland with the river running through. Good WC/shower blocks (although you do have to pay 1 euro for 10 min not 5 as we were told). The on site shop has a good supply of essentials.
There is a lounge with pool tables, wifi access
& another room area with tables for eating. Staff were great, and have a vast amount of information for you. The site is a good base for exploring this area of southern Ireland. Killarney town itself would take you a good 30 mins to walk (taxi 8/10 euros) The nearest pub (10/15 min walk) is actually part of a hotel on the main road, it does food & live music but its not a local pub & quite touristy & expensive. There is so much to do and see, I would highly recommend this area for a fantastic holiday.

Flemings White Bridge is by far the best campsite I have ever stayed at. Lovely setting in beautiful peaceful location. Toilet and shower facilities were spotless and I noticed the cleaner in quite a few times in the day giving a proper clean. Showers were actually scrubbed down and this really impressed me.
Three good sanitation blocks with toilets, showers, laundry facilities, diswashing facilities, indoor dining area and games room. The grounds were spotless with lovely short grassed areas with hard standing for camper vans etc and other grassed areas for tents.
The lovely flower beds just set everything off to perfection and there is also a lovely rustic wooden bridge overlooking a little stream. There was ample water taps and bins etc. There is also a shop at reception for anything you run out of.
The staff were very helpful and professional. We were actually down for a weeks dog showing and stayed there for 4 nights in a tent. Our dogs were welcomed and as long as you clean up after them there is no problem.
I am definitely going to re book again for next years dog show circuit and have recommended this site to all my show friends. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this site.

It takes a leap of faith to believe that there can be a campsite when you turn off the main road into what looks like a mixture between a housing estate/industrial estate. But, it is there, and it is lovely.
The reception is well run, although not always open, even though the site was full. There was lots of tourist information, and the people there were obviously very proud of their site and of Killarney.
They were very helpful in finding us a dry pitch, in what had been an incredibly wet summer. We had just spent a week at their sister site in Glenbeigh and were sick of being wet.
The toilet block near us was put out of use halfway through the week. There had been variable temperatures in the showers all week, but we felt that our feedback about this wasn't particularly welcome. In the end, they just closed the block, which meant a fair walk to another block, but not too bad, really.
There is plenty to see and do in Killarney. Taxis are used to coming and picking people up and dropping them back on to the site.
There is a good pub up the road which does substantial bar meals, which was really useful on our first night, when we had arrived quite late.
There is a new 24 hour Tesco not too far away, and a marvellous fish shop in the block of shops over the road which sold really beautiful fresh fish.
Would recommend driving to Ross Castle and taking a boat over to Inishfallen and having a picnic, or taking a tour round the lake from there.
We also went to a restaurant Chapter 40 on New Street in Killarney, which is a bit pricey, but would take some beating in terms of customer service and quality of food.
If there had been more understanding about the temperature in the showers, and the block not being shut, we would probably have rated the site more highly.
It felt calm and peaceful and rural.

Loved this site, we stayed for 5 nights and despite a lot of rain we enjoyed the site.
Used the washing up facilities which were near to us, good area its just a pity some people do not clear up after themselves.
Children spent a day fishing but not easy to get down to the bank and find a suitable spot, I think you needed a permit but because it was the children they said not to bother.
Pitches quite well spaced and even though a busy time not full at any time.
We used the shop on site although it was more expensive than the local supermarkets it was close. There were the basics you would need.
Supermarkets not far away though.
Killarney was a little bit further than lead to believe from their website but still walkable.
The staff where more than helpful and could not do enough for you.
We would definitely return but next time take our bikes.

This was a fantastic campsite. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We were told that they were full when we arrived but they managed to fit us in at the back of the campsite where it was nice and quiet. Showers and toilets were immaculate. The little shop on site was a small bit expensive but there is a Tescos down the road, about 2 mins in the car. Our 2-year old had a great sleep here as the campsite went very quiet at night. You weren't allowed to use your cars after 10pm so we had a 3 min walk to get to the toilets at night. The only bad thing to mention is the fact that we came across a couple of ticks. First time ever and l've been camping for 25 years! Perhaps there's livestock close by, who knows. On the whole a fantastic place with plenty to do and lovely sites to see in the surrounding areas. Recommended.

We love this site, On entering the site you just sense that it is a very well run site. The staff in the office very helpful and quick in getting you booked in and setup, they are very helpful and their knowledge of the area is a great help when going places. The site itself is very clean and well kept grassed areas well looked after and shrub and flower beds tidy and full of colour. The toilet block and shower block is spotless, the area for washing clothes has everything you want, and there is a dinning room if you want to use which is very handy for the canvas holiday makers. One last thing We have a large twin axle caravan and there was no problem at all with booking or parking it up.
10/10 all round, we are booked in for 09 again

We stayed here for two nights and found it fantastic. Our greeting was exceptional and very formative. We chose a hard standing pitch quite close to the main gates which was great. The facilities were very good and the showers cost €1. We walked into Killarney which is a busy little town and has everything you would want. There is also a large Tesco near town and had very cheap diesel! One day we drove to the County Park which was great and would recommend it. All in all, a great site, well presented, and would stay again if we are in the area.

Stayed for a couple of nights in beautiful weather. It was an immaculate well run site as expected of a caravan club affiliate but very friendly and helpful with good amount of info given about local attractions of which there are many as long as you dodge the coach parties
