We spent 3 nights out of the four that we planned at this campsite. Firstly we went home early because of the unusual wasp problem they had then (this is not the norm)!
We were told to pitch anywhere in the field as long as we weren’t too close to other units.
The toilets were clean and so were the showers, however the water pressure for the showers was very low and would not advise you to go at busy time, the water was just warm.
The pool is clean and well maintained, a lot of people used the showers in the pool area as they were lovely and warm with plenty of water pressure.
There was plenty of entertainment for the kids, the club put on kid’s entertainment early evening followed by things like bingo and quizzes.
The site was fairly quiet and had no problem getting our kids to bed at a sensible time, it was however mainly tourers but that wasn’t a problem. This site has a selection of statics but the tent field is set aside from these.
There was a big supermarket close so easy to get supplies, the little shop on site really is basic, but will supply you with milk, bread etc.
All in all a child friendly site that can be nice and peaceful to.

We was told that the toilet/shower block would be just for the touring pitches and kept locked - issued with a key.
Well they were cleaned twice a day, but the locks were removed for the weekend as they had insufficient keys for the number of pitches booked which meant that even the static caravan people were using the facilities. 3 showers and 3 toilets for whole camp site - need I explain more.
The site was noisy, it would seem that people enjoyed walking past tents at 01:30 in morning joking about minding guy ropes - obviously I mislaid my sense of humour for this trip.

This is the first time I've been to a holiday park as a paying customer as I've previously worked at holiday parks with my wife around the country. I'm extremely critical as I've always had a certain standard that i feel must be consistantly delivered. But I must say, the entertainment at sheerness was out of this world, we were all blown away! The entertainer Davey was incredible and worked effortlessly with the children, never seemed to be off duty and always happy to stop and chat. He looked at times exhausted but hid it well with dedication and and professionalism. This lad will go far. See you next year.
