Lovely well maintained site in the center of Tavistock but tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the town.
Close to all local shops and facilities and perfectly placed for a holiday of exploration of Devon and north Cornwall.
Anne was a fantastic host and I would wholly recommend the site and will definitely be returning.
Many thanks for providing a wonderful base for our holiday x

We have just spent 2 lovely weeks on valley view farm in Tavistock, The site was very well maintained,
The shower and toilet were very clean, and the Elsan was a pleasure to use with no heavy drain to remove before you could use it,
Anne the owner was a lovely lady and couldn’t have been more helpful, with advice on where to go on the moors to wear to have a reasonable meal,
We will definitely be booking again next year,

The site is small and quiet. Tucked away within walking distance of Tavistock and the Moors. It's on a quiet lane, a little traffic but mainly local and respectful.
Shower/toilet is well serviced and maintained.
Anne the owner is a lovely lady and more than happy to help in any way.My partner is in a wheelchair and she took the time to pick a flat pitch and send photos of the shower/toilet to demonstrate the access. So very helpful.
We will be returning.

Quiet site on the outskirts of town up a narrow lane, but access is fine, so ignore the 'wide vehicles' sign!
Site is sloping grass so levelling blocks might be needed. A few hard standings that were being used by camper vans.
Single toilet and shower (free) available, which was very nice.
Excellent library in 'The Shed'; take a book and leave another.
Tavistock is very well equipped with eating places, and the Farmers Market outside the Pannier Market is excellent. Morrisons not far away from site if you have to use a supermarket.
No child facilities.

I really enjoyed my visit. The people were all very friendly. The shower and toilet amenities were very clean and new. Waste disposal was simple to access. Electricity was available when needed. The free 'library' was very extensive - we were never short of a few good books to read. The site is in a very beautiful area with long views across the valley overlooking farms. It was quiet and peaceful. Signage at the site entrance is very clear and access for our rig was simple. There is hard standing available. I enjoyed waking up to the birdsong and a few rural animal sounds. The site is only a ten minute walk to the Tavistock town center through 'the meadows' - a park that has a canal on one side and the River Tavy on the other side. Buses are only a five minute walk away. A very welcoming atmosphere. I look forward to returning in the near future.
