Just stayed the 1 night this trip, before we came home.
The reception staff are always friendly and polite, we were shown to a pitch by a young lady.
The sanitary blocks are getting a bit tired now, they are heavily used, and could do with some attention.
Good value with ACSI discount, maybe not so good without.

Used this site for a one nighter before tunnel. Spacious and quiet site, pool heated (though still on the chilly side) and slide next to it. Sanitary facilities a little dated but functional. Lots of table tennis tables, outdoor gym and kids play areas by the bar which was a nice area to sit.
Downsides - Food in snack bar (sadly we couldn’t eat in restaurant as it was fully booked) was tasteless and expensive. Got balls and clubs to pay mini golf, husband thought he was playing a €5 deposit for equipment, but that was the actual charge - a complete rip off for a crappily maintained course. (Tennis was also €5 an hour, thankfully we didn’t want to play).
Wouldn’t want to stop for more than a night, but in terms of access to tunnel it was spot on.

Such a lovely campsite to stay at.
We were on our way back to England and have stayed here on two other times.
The site is great facilities clean and good. We had food but could not book the restaurant on this visit but it did not matter as the quality of the food order from the take away part.
Our friends was also impressed with this site.
Will definitely use this when in France again

Stayed twice this trip, there and back.
Very convenient for the Tunnel and ferries.
On our way back they were pretty full but went out of their way to allocate us a pitch.
Not overly expensive with ACSI discount.

The site is part of a large chain and the main attraction is its proximity to Calais, although it would make a good base if you wanted to tour the area. The village of Guines has some shops for basics but little else to recommend it.
Sanitary facilities are mixed - some a little dated - but perfectly adequate. There is a covered swimming pool which was open when we visited at Easter.
The site has all the other facilities for washing clothes etc that you would expect on a large site. Reception staff are friendly and efficient and access to the site is easy.
I would highly recommend the on site restaurant La Ferme Gourmande (associated with the adjoining Hotel). An excellent meal and very reasonably priced.

We stay here for a night most years on the way to and from the Tunnel, it's very convenient and comfortable, and not overly expensive with ACSI discount. This time we stayed an extra night to allow us to relax properly before our crossing.
It was much quieter than usual, the restaurant and shop were closed and sections of the site were closed too, but otherwise things were much as normal for low season.
It's worth taking an extra day, or even a couple of hours, to explore the area, you can find maps and leaflets at the Tourist office next door to the campsite. It's a short walk into the village, there is a small market on a Friday. Beyond the market square you come to a pretty canal with a cycle path on the far side which leads on to a network of cycle paths across the marshes. Or follow the village trail and feed the ducks.

Excellent site, It's always our first and last stop of our holidays if we're crossing at Calais.
There is wifi that is available at the bar, but you need a code (available from behind the bar) and the quality is often ropey and frequently drops out. Mobile signal is good though.

What a surprising little site!
Due to its proximity to Calais and how it lends itself to people using it as either a first or last stop to or from the port or tunnel I was expecting it to be a little on the lower reading of the scale but it is really nice site!
Set in the grounds of a manor house it has loads of space for tourers and tents and also has eurocamp type tents. The facilities are well maintained and there is a nice pool with an opening roof. There is a decent bar serving food, a small shop and an upmarket restaurant on site but I advise that you book your table as soon as you can as it's very difficult to get a table.
I can't really fault the place and was amazed by it after stumbling on it by accident. It's about 15 mins away from the tunnel and definitely worth checking out either on you way in or out of France.

We've used this site a good few times over the years but only for an overnight at beginning or end of our hols. It's an ideal location for Eurotunnel.
This stay, we noticed they've a new area for 'superior' pitches. These are large, level and complete with picnic bench and garden garden shed containing, apparently, BBQ and fridge. These pitches naturally attract a premium price tag and weren't available on ACSI charge of €19. 00
The campsite was largely empty when we were there, yet we were offered choice of just 2 pitches, which seemed a bit odd. Nevertheless, we were very happy and the site, as usual, felt safe and well maintained.
One small niggle: there was no soap in the dispensers. Oversight or cost-cutting measure?
