We used this site for one night before catching the ferry in Calais. The site was full by about 4. 00pm.
We received a warm welcome from the owner. He opened the office although it was outside the normal opening hours and booked us in. The cost was reasonable.
The pitch was fairly flat but some pitches were slightly sloping. The pitches were as far as I could see all grass and in good condition. The toilets and showers were modern and very clean.
The site is close to Calais and also to the hypermarket.
I would definitely use the site again.

As has previously been mentioned this is a very neat and well kept side with hedges between the pitches giving a good send of privacy. We used the site as a stop over before catching an early ferry. The facilities are clean warm and plenty of hot water and you need a token needed for the shower.
At the time of our visit at the end of October, there were road works between the Autoroute and the site and I was a bit concerned to follow the diversion as it looked like it was taking us down a little narrow track and with a 9m Tag axle I didn't fancy getting stuck. A very helpful local confirmed it would be OK and very kindly took us to the entrance of the site!
On Arrival the office was open and the owner was busy tidying the vegetation and said we could pick any plot we wanted, so I picked one which was level and I could drive straight in and then out of.
The weather overnight was horrendous with a howling gale and torrential rain and even though the site is relatively sheltered the motorhome rocked in the wind it was that bad.
The heavy rain meant the ground on the grass pitch had softened and I struggled to get the vehicle off the pitch early in the morning and onto the service road. The gate was open so we got to the port in time for a very lively ferry crossing.
This is a nice site ideally situated close to the port and I will be back, but I will try and face downhill next time if there is any rain forecast.

Needed a site handy for the port and the return home. Arrived Sunday mid afternoon. Called the number on the office wall, and were advised to choose where we liked and that the office would be open from six pm for one hour. Pitches are slightly smaller that is usual in France, but very well kept and individually hedged round. Two ablution blocks, plenty of hot water for basins and sinks. Shower by token. Generally a great site and good value but a bit tricky I would think for a big 4x4 and double axle caravan as the turn-in, off the road is quite narrow.

Back again this year - felt no need to update last year; however this time I feel I should comment.
The site is unchanged, - unfortunately little seems to have been done in terms of updating. The washing up sinks are in need of the plumbing, drains being looked at. The washing facilities for people needed updating - some of the taps were decidedly old and swivelled unintentionally and tokens were needed for the showers(only 1 working in the ladies section)this was on the small side. The facilities are cleaned regularly. The reception is only open for 2 short periods each day - so plan your shower jeton purchase wisely.
It is still, in my opinion, the most convenient site for the tunnel and booking is not just advised but essential through the summer holiday period. We saw quite a few being turned away.
The customer service rating is low due to the limited opening times even in high season.

This is the second time we've used this site as an overnight stop on the way home.
It's very conveniently located about 5 mins from the motorway close to the tunnel. It's walking distance to a small village with a bakery and only 5 minutes to Cite Europe shopping centre and Carrefour.
We didn't book but made sure we didn't get there too late (about 4. 00). Saw a campervan driving round and then out again about 7. 30, so I presume all pitches were taken by then.
The site is very neat and well kept with hedged pitches that are a reasonable size. There are some statics and some seasonal/ permanent tourers on site as well.
Reception is open between 9 and 10 in the morning and again between 6 and 7. 30 in the evening.
There were two toilet blocks that were clean with separate male and female sections, and toilet paper in the cubicles. Can't comment on the showers.
At the far end of the site was a play area and undercover ping-pong table.
The gates aren't locked so we were able to leave early in the morning for our crossing.
Would recommend this site to anyone wanting decent facilities convenient for tunnel and ferry crossings, or for longer stays if you don't want all the amenities (bar, pool, etc) of a larger site.

We booked this site as a stop over both ways on our way to Spain. Outward late March, we arrived at 7pm and found our own pitch as we could not find anyone on duty. We were able to get electric and fill our water container.
The toilets were all locked up so used our own. The next morning toilets still locked and no one on duty so put money in envelope through reception letter box on our way out.
When we returned late April reception was closed so we pitched the caravan and went to the Auchan supermarket in Calais for cheap diesel. When we returned a man knocked at our door and I paid him.
The toilets were open all night this time and were clean. The showers looked ok but we did not use them.
Good stopover, close to the motorway and 20 minutes to the Calais ferry. Cheap 13euros (£11) night.

Stayed at this small site in winter and site was therefore almost empty of people. Arrived quite late by prior arrangement and as site was not busy we were able to select our own pitch. Both flat and sloping pitches were available. About 2 thirds statics/permanent sites and one third allocated to tourers. One of the toilet blocks was open which was clean and had ample hot water (although tokens were needed for the shower).
Site owners lived on site, thankfully spoke good English and were very helpful. Limited shopping in the village but Calais was nearby with ample shopping. Suspect when vegetation is out this is a pretty spot and ideal as a base for checking out the region. Will use it again but I guess it will need booking well in advance.

I can not add much more than the previous reviews already have. We found this site to be just lovely. It was a peaceful and quaint little site perfect for our overnight stay. Some of the pitches are tight to access and some are quite sloping but on both occasions of us staying here we were given a choice of pitches. In high season I would advise you book as it is a popular site due to its location.
There is a playarea and grass area for the kids to play in. Again the site is very easy to find and once you have pitched up there are the huge hypermarkets only about 5 minutes drive down the road to stock up on wine before the tunnel back.
You can order freshly baked items for delivery the next morning and the main gates were left open so we could make an early start. I would definitely recommend this site as a relaxing, inexpensive and convenient place to stay on your journey.

I am in danger of repeating all the current site information as submitted by the previous reviews. We booked there as a direct result of the reviews on UK Campsite. We found the site easily from the motorway. There was a really friendly guy cutting the hedge as we arrived and he told us we could choose any of the reserved pitches. The facilities were clean and tidy, the site was quiet and basically exactly what we wanted in the final night before catching the train. We followed the advice of a previous reviewer and did the drive along the coast - well worth it. We called at the bakers shop in the village, still open at 7pm. There was a quiet off road walk for the dogs, which were also made welcome.
We will certainly return, yet another quiet, semi-rural site within easy stretch of the Tunnel, Calais itself and the Cite d'Europe.
Oh and just for note, we had 2 dogs as well as the van 2 adults and electricity, €13. 50, at that price it makes the £20 per night charge at the Stop24 on the English side look decidedly sick.

We used this site as a 1 night stopover before catching the shuttle back to England. Very easy to find from the motorway following the directions from the site's website and very quick and straightforward to the Channel Tunnel Terminal (10 mins max.). Also excellent value for money - 12 euros 50 per night, including electricity.
We were a little dubious about using this site as it has a large proportion of statics and seasonal pitches, which we tend to avoid, but we were pleasantly surprised and found it to be a very quiet, convenient and friendly site and will happily use it again for a short stay.
The touring pitches are mainly near the gate away from the statics/permanent pitches and vary in size from medium to large - even on one of the smaller pitches we had room for our 7.4m caravan and car, though would have been struggling to add an awning.
The office is open at set times through the day - morning from 8.15, then 1.30pm to 2.15pm and for an hour or so in the evening. The man in the office was very friendly and helpful and when we had booked in told us to choose our own pitch. There were pitches marked as reserved and had we arrived out of office hours we would have pitched ourselves on one of these, thanks to information in previous reviews (we had booked in advance).
You need to buy tokens to use the shower at 1 euro each but the 2 toilet blocks were clean and modern and well maintained.
Bread is available in the mornings (needs to be ordered the previous day, as on most sites) and the site is within a 10 minute drive of Cité Europe and a large Auchun supermarket, with the petrol station on the other side of the road, on the road to Calais. There is also a bread shop and other small shops in the village.
Well worth a visit is the coast road between Calais and Peuplingues (or beyond) which gives absolutely stunning views of the Channel. This is the region of the 2 capes - the Cap du Nez Blanc and the Cap du Nez Gris (the Cape of the White Nose and the Cape of the Grey Nose) with part of a long distance footpath between the two. We stumbled across the viewpoint at the Cap du Nez Blanc with free car parking and cliff top trails and a memorial to the Dover Patrol (sailors from WW2). We did not realise the many attractions of this area - like most people, I suspect, we looked upon Calais simply as the place to start and end our holiday but now feel the area is worth a closer look.
