This is a very good site we stayed here often as we worked all over the country and would stay here as we passed.
Peter is friendly and the shower is better now its been repaired and new shower tray fitted,
Apart from the odd moan about using to much electric its good,
Getting through the gate can be a squeeze but look before you leap.
Overall 8/10 as facilities could be better.

Really lovely site, basic but completely adequate, just what we were looking for.
When we visited we had the whole camping field to ourselves.
Peaceful other than the occasional noise of trains going by. We were really lucky, weather was gorgeous, but if it rained toilets, shower, washing up facility and games room all in outhouse so can stay nice and dry.
Gorgeous village of sharnbrook, with lovely walks which we enjoyed greatly.
Great pub food and large portions, in the village.
Like I say campsite basic but fully functional, suited us fantastically.
We will be back!

Site is small but beautifully formed. Nice and tidy. Peaceful. Toilet and shower facilities are basic but clean and perfectly adequate with no queues. Small games room (table tennis, TV, etc). We paid £12 per night with electric hookup. The owners are lovely people and unbelievably helpful. I got a puncture on the way there so arrived with my 'skinny spare' on the car. Whilst I was out the following day, the owner supplied and fitted a new type for me (from his small workshop at the back of the site) and charged me less than a tyre centre would have done. And that was on a Sunday too. Fantastic !

Stayed at this site for two nights. Site was ok, facilities dated, owners friendly. Agreed £12 per night (with nothing else to pay) ended up being charged £13 plus requested to pay for showers. Sharnbrook very pretty, lovely walks. Peaceful weekend here but would not go back again.

Great little site set in a lovely part of the Bedfordshire countryside. About £10 a night and a little extra for awnings. The facilities ie shower and games room are a little dated and we chose to shower in the van but did use the games room. The water and hookups are within feet of any pitch and water pressure is good. I booked five touring pitches for myself and friends that we tour with and that is basically full capacity so we had the place to ourselves. The owners are incredibly friendly and very helpful, they run a small business from the site and go home around 7pm and leave you to let yourself in and out of the main gate with a key that is issued. About half a mile walk to the village where you will find two good pubs that serve great food
To sum it up if you like intimate or peaceful sites or fancy a change from the norm or large commercial sites , for around a tenner a night you wont be dissapointed,we had a great weekend and will certainly visit again.

We stayed here once, not much room as there is only a few pitches, not ideal if you have a large tent to erect but caravans or motorhomes are better off or ok for smaller tents. They have a shower to use and seperate ladies & gents toilets, there is also a kitchen you can use for washing up, microwave, and making tea etc. Also on the site there is a tv room you can use with some games (ie) darts, pool, table tennis etc. I guess if you have kids its somthing for them to do but ive been on better sites. Seems this site is is joined on to the owners work place as they go home early and lock you in the gates when they go home, however they do give you a key to the padlock if you need to go out to the local pub (which does good food) etc, and you have to pay a deposit if you want a key. Cant say we would go there again but would be ok for anyone that needs to stay in the area to Bedford (short stay) !
