Just spent another few days at this campsite in our touring caravan with our two dogs (who stay for free). It is an ideal site and you can usually pitch up anywhere that suits. Good facilities, free showers, and toilet block is spacious. Washing machine and tumble dryer always handy. Also a well stocked fish pond free while on site. Good views of the sea. Local shops, pubs, fish & chips and local arts and craft in walking distance.

Haven't needed to use, but Bus stop just outside the site for Bude, Bideford, Barnstaple and Clovelly.

Hartland Abbey is worth visiting.

Plenty of dog walking around.

Looking forward to our Easter break 2015

A pleasant site with good clean facilities. Ignore the sign saying reception, it isn't the site reception. It is divided into 3 fields which makes for a pleasing and relatively sheltered environment. There are not many level pitches. The village of Hartland is attractive and interesting and it's good to be near shops, pubs, fish and chips and a bus service without having to take the van out. Charges are reasonable.

My only reservation was that the site owners also run a metal fabrication business right next to the site. It's fine at weekends and in the evenings or if you are going to be out all day, otherwise it can be quite noisy.

 Super basic site.

3 fields, on my visit it was quiet so the owner advised me to pitch anywhere. The top field is normally for campers. The whole site slopes but plenty of flat spots. Facilities are pretty good, modern ad very clean.

£6. 00ppn great value for a tourist spot (why don't many reviews mention price?).

3 pubs in the village of varying quality. Hart Inn and Kings Head best. Chippy is pretty good.

Hartland is on a bus route to Clovelly so you can do a nice walk around Hartland Point to Clovelly. Avoiding the use of the car saves a lot of money when visiting Clovelly.

Hartland has a few shops inc post office for supplies and cash point.

Go back? Yes.

My Husband and I have just spent a few days at Hartland Camping and Caravan Park in our Tent.

This site is a little gem very relaxing in an excellent position for touring North Devon and Cornwall the owners are very friendly and so helpful nothing is to much trouble for them. The toilets are immaculate and the site is kept very nice. It is also very reasonably priced to stay there in fact its all excellent. The Village is only a 5min stroll you have everything that you would need it has 3 good pubs 2 shops a Fish and Chip Shop Post Office Local Arts and Craft shop Pottery and a Hardware Store that you go through and they have an Outdoor Café at the back with the best Cooked English Breakfast ever. The bus stop is just outside the campsite taking you to Bideford Barnstaple and Bude which we used with our Bus Passes, They also have a well stocked Fishing Lake that is lots of fun In all this is one of the beat campsites we have been to and look forward to returning

This is a very nice site, busy but quiet. The people are friendly and there are plenty of places to go in the village to eat or drink and shops for groceries.

Its a good base to get to the other places around the area, weather its walking, swimming at the local beaches or shopping, with towns within 20 minutes.

The site has a fantastic view across the fields and in the distance is the sea with amazing sun sets in the evening. This area is by far one of the finest scenic places in England.

There is also a small lake on site stocked with carp and roach, which is good fun for all ages and also a bbq area by the lake with seating (its quite nice there to read a book) or just watch the wildlife.

The toilet block is clean and up to date, with a place to wash up dishes and also a washing machine and tumble drier. A baby changing area and a disabled toilet/shower.

Over all it was a fantastic stay and will be going back again because there is so much we just didn't get to see and do

Hartland Camping & Caravan Park is our little piece of heaven, a true place to escape to from the chaos of daily life. The site is in such a beautiful unspoilt location, but close to the village where there are ample places to get supplies, lovely pubs, and just somewhere to chill! The site is small and very friendly with good clean facilities. I almost don't want to say too much as its such a gem of a site I don't want everyone to know about it! Thanks for making us so welcome

Just had holiday at the park, with 2 dogs. Nearby there are good walks for dog walkers or hikers, easily accessible with a 4 min walk through the village. The local amenities are excellent, there is a post office, and 2 grocery shops, fish & chip shop, hardware store, and 3 pubs and local arts and craft shops. Got a lovely picture and cards for presents.

The on site fishing lake is beautiful with a selection of shrubs and flowers and lily's where I spent a day watching the world go by, my husband was fishing. There is a bbq facility in the lake area but you can also bbq around your caravan. The campsite is welcoming and so peaceful as it is surrounded by trees and shrubs. The owners are very friendly and always suggesting places to visit. Each pitch has plenty of room and not regimental. Various hook ups and water taps around the 3 meadow fields.

The toilet and shower block was really clean with a big enough area to dry and style your hair. I thought the flowers in the ladies was a nice touch.

I also used the washing machine and tumble dryer which came in handy.

The owners welcome dogs as long as you clean up after them.

There is a bus service which stops near the entrance going to Bude or Bideford which we used a lot being an OAP!

All in all we had an enjoyable stay and would recommend it, definitely be coming to stay again.

Great location near to the village and convenient for travelling around the area.

However this is a very basic site which although clean and tidy could generally do with some TLC particularly in the toilet and shower blocks (one of the two women's showers was out of action most of the week because the door was broken).

Also, the reception area is a bit off putting as it seems to be part of the industrial unit next door which incidentally can be a little noisy at times.

The owners are very friendly and even parked their vehicles around our 2 tents during some gale force winds to try and give us some protection(unfortunately one tent was damaged beyond repair despite these efforts).

Great prices though £16.50 per night for a pitch with electric hook-up.

The site is a little untidy, but it is in a good location, there are some good views from the rear of the site in field 2.

The site owners are very helpful and friendly.

Although it is dog friendly there was not specific area to walk the dog on the site, we were allowed to use field 3 as it was not in use.

It is just a short stroll into Hartland village with local shops and public houses.

We enjoyed visits to Hartland Quay, Hartland Abbey and Clovelly, look out for the National Trust woodland valleys and Costal walks all very good.

Just got back from this site had a great time. Just what we were looking for. We were at the top of number 1 field with electric hook up it was nice and peaceful. The owners were nice and were knowledgeable about the local area and told you the places to see.

Site is in a good spot to get about in north Devon and north Cornwall. The toilets and showers were cleaned every day and kept to a good standard.

Village 4 minutes walk away with nice farmshop, post office, other small shops pubs and chippy.

Pond good for fishing

My wife & I will definitely go back next year
