We stumbled on this site whilst looking for somewhere to park our motorhome whilst visiting York for Christmas weekend, and what a find it was!
So helpful and obliging, we drove up and stayed one night, then parked the van up in secure storage area for 3 nights.
On return stayed for one night before long drive home to Cornwall.
Will certainly return, so handy for what we wanted and a lovely site too!
Bus Stop right outside gates and very frequent just a really handy site indeed, and the shower block was outstanding!
Thanks

York Park is a beautiful, peaceful and immaculately clean 5 star site.
The facilities, particularly the shower rooms, rank as the best in the Country. Staff are welcoming, helpful and diligently go about their daily routine.
The park is approx 2 miles from York Minister and is well served by bus, twice an hour, right outside the site gates.
Loved this place and highly recommend to those looking for a quiet, clean, comfortable and well located base.

Spent three nights at this site and I have to say I was impressed, pitches are massive, could have fitted two vans on our pitch, hedges on three side so privacy was good,
Facilities were immaculate as was the site.
Bus stop to York was at the entrance to the site and Toby carvery was a short walk away, cannot fault this site at all,
An excellent place to stay and will be visiting again for sure.

Returned customer and we are still as please than we were the first time, pitches have plenty of room and the shower rooms are massive.
We walked into York took about an hour, but there is a bus stop outside the site.
Toby inn not far and opens at 8 for breakfast and just a bit farther you have a choice of supermarkets.
We will return again

This is an amazing site, close to York. The bays are well cared for, hedges around each one are trimmed to perfection, grass short, lake lovely to sit by and eat lunch and watch wildlife.
Staff are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Toilets and shower block is the best we have come across, not only scrupulously clean and huge, they have lovely hot water whatever time of day, if that’s not enough, to top it off there is underfloor heating.
You can also purchase delicious free range eggs from 1 egg to many 😁.
Walking distance to the pub (Walnut Tree) welcomes dogs inside and out, although the walk from campsite you do have to be careful as no path for a small distance (walking directions on wall in toilet block). Toby Calvary doesn’t allow dogs inside.
Bus stop right outside site, every 1/2 an hour again dogs welcome.
This is a perfect find a GEM.
Thank you for our stay. Will be back. 🥰

First time at this site and it was beautiful.
Well looked after, staff very friendly and the toilet block was amazing.
Best toilets I've seen on any campsite.
We'll definitely return

Some of the best facilities I have come across in my 40 yrs of camping and perfectly situated for visiting york.
However one minor complaint would be the cleaning. In each shower cubicle the extractor grills above the showers where filthy and the same water was left in buckets for cleaning out shower 2 days in a row.
Toilet in shower unit no 2 was filthy around rim two days in a row and toilet in shower no 3 was blocked two days in a row, I cleared this myself.
This is just a quick note so these beautiful services are maintained to the level they deserve.
Would be happy to recommend to all friends and family, I may just have hit weekend when things where very busy.

We visited York Caravan Park over Christmas.
We were met by a lovely friendly member of staff when we arrived and directed to our pitch.
All of the pitches are a very generous size and fully serviced. The toilet block and showers were spotless and nice and warm.
There was plenty to do in York and the surrounding area.
We would have no hesitation in recommending this site
