Well, what can we say, other than excellent, great, friendly, and entertaining. So let me say that Keith and Carol are one of the nicest wardens we have met. They were always there to help. They gave advice for us new caravanners to Brittany. The site was spotless. The grass was nicely cut. There are no toilets or shower blocks at this camp, but there are CD locations to empty your waste. The Gourmet B-B-Q on Sunday evening was something to really enjoy. Its not just a B-B-Q, its a 3 course gourmet meal. There is however a small charge for this, but the charge is minimal for what you get. There are only 6 pitches at this site so you will have to book early to avoid missing out on one of the nicest sites in Brittany. We will certainly be returning.

This is a lovely site set behind the owners home. Spacious pitch with water connection and connection to sky (just take you sky box).

We were welcomed with wine and nibbles by the owners and found them very helpful in giving advice on the local area. This was particularly important when we had problems with the caravan battery during our stay and needed to buy a new battery.

We took our dog Alfie with us and he particularly enjoyed his walks in the forest opposite the site. Anyone taking a dogs should also do a bit of homework on the French beaches as we had difficulty finding one which allowed dogs.

Big supermarkets within a couple of miles of the site which were very useful, also a new Lidl opening as we left.

Be sure to catch the owner's BBQ - a great night!

What a little piece of Breton heaven! We spent 10 nights here in July/August and would have booked for longer had we known what a little gem it was. A very peaceful site in beautiful surroundings. Carol and Keith are fantastic hosts from the time you arrive. The welcome drink is lovely and Carol's 3-course barbecue is not to be missed! Her tomatoes and unusual cucumbers are delicious so if she has any for sale, buy! Altogether perfect! We have no hesitation in 'highly recommending' this site!

We have just returned from 2 weeks at this absolutely lovely adult only campsite in south Brittany, It is so peaceful there and the owners Keith and Carol are a lovely couple, They make you feel so welcome and treat you like a friend not just another customer, they also do a 3 course BBQ which is fantastic and as much wine as you want (we went twice)

The campsite is beautiful, surrounded by trees which can cause problems if you have a satellite dish but Keith is putting satellite points in for 2012.

The grass is well kept and the ground drains well and does not get muddy. We had some rain but mainly at night.

Each pitch has its own water hook up so no need to keep filling water butts, Electric is 8 amps but its French 2 pin connection so make sure you have an adaptor.

Carol also sells fresh veg grown on the campsite.

The area is very nice with lots of beaches and places to visit, with a lovely bakers in the town 3 minutes drive away.

Over all we loved this place, Keith and Carol will do there best to make your stay a pleasure.

 Perfection!

Follow the clear directions and then prepare yourself for a very warm welcome – meeting the owners, Keith and Carole is like meeting old friends. They couldn’t be more helpful and accommodating. They have created a unique CL type site for 6 vans which is immaculate, beautiful and peaceful. Each pitch has its own tap and EHU.

The situation is convenient for visiting the numerous sandy beaches, wooded river estuaries and pretty harbours all of which never seem very busy even at the height of the season.

If you plan to visit southern Brittany then this is an excellent site but be sure to book early as once visited, you’ll want to return! Keith and Carole work hard at ensuring everyone has a great stay.

A fantastic find for our 'taster' visit to Brittany. A CL style site set in immaculate gardens with water and electricity to each pitch. Close to the village of Mellac with shops, bars etc. 10 minutes to Hypermarket.

Quimperle is the closest town and the many coastal resorts start at about 15/20 minutes drive.

This site is highly recommended and we shall certainly return upon our next visit to Brittany. Owners Keith and Carol are a delightful hosts and make everyone very welcome. We are already looking forward to sharing another glass with them on their patio.

Wow! What a find. Montloue is the perfect 'adults only' Bed & Breakfast/Caravan Site.

We have just returned to Dorset having spent a two week caravan holiday at this amazing place. Set in two acres of beautifully maintained grounds just outside Mellac in Southern Finistere, the house is superb and the grounds immaculate. The location is perfect for exploring Brittany, with such delightful places such as Quimperle, Pont-Aven, Concarneau and Quimper all within easy reach. The nearby Atlantic coast has something for everyone with a mixture of rugged headlands and lovely clean beaches and coves - a walker's paradise and a great area to explore.

The caravan area to the rear of the house caters for 5/6 vans, each serviced by water and electricity and each power/water point is illuminated at night. It is surrounded by trees giving a quiet, secluded area with plenty of room. Being adults only, it is the perfect place to relax at any time of the day.

The house boasts three beautiful en-suite bedrooms - which are extremely well decorated - and a guests' lounge for bed & breakfast visitors. Breakfast is served in the owners vast living/dining area.

The owners, Keith & Carol Stevens, are the perfect hosts who cannot do enough to make your stay pleasurable and complete. With welcoming drinks on the evening of your arrival and fabulous barbeques for all guests, there is a real sense of welcome.

What can we say other than 'Thanks for a fantastic holiday' and 'we recommend you highly'.

This is a truly lovely site. The owners, Carol & Keith, make you very welcome especially over a nice glass (or 2, as their site says) of Rose.

Site is well maintained, in a beautiful area - with some nice historic towns to visit and some fantastic beaches not too far away.

There's a baker just down the road for some true French bread and crossaints. A choice of supermarkets aren't far away. Unfortunately the local restaurant, which comes recommended, was closed. We tried the recommended restaurant in Pont Aven and this was very good - good value too.

It's peaceful and relaxing site. We stayed for nearly 2 weeks and went twice to the weekly BBQ, where we had good food, great company and the odd glass of Rose! Even the weather was good.

This is a 'CL' type site and has no loos or showers but has water and electic hook up for each pitch.

It was a shame to leave and we'll definitely be going back. The bed and breakfast looks tempting too.

What a brilliant find this was! An adults only site, Montloue is a beautifully kept, quiet, garden at the back of the owners restored manoir (B&B also available!). There's lots of space and we were encourage to pitch our unit where and how we wanted. There are plenty of hookup & water points but no facilities, which suited us very well as we prefer being self contained.

It's just a mile to the local village, easily bikeable for morning croissants, and there are is the usual choice of supermarkets in easy reach. This glorious part of southern Brittany has everything from mediaeval villages and dinky fishing ports to miles and miles of stunning coastline, beaches, cliffs, footpaths, islands and on and on.

Owners Keith and Carol are very friendly and welcoming, getting to know all new guests over several glasses of wine. They are full of local knowledge and fantastic cooks - don't miss the weekly barbecue - more a three course meal!

We have already recommended this wonderful haven to several of our friends and will definitely be making a return visit ourselves.

This is a small, well kept and beautiful adults only site where you are made to feel very much at home. The hosts, Carol and Keith, are very kind and helpful, welcoming us with a glass of wine upon arrival and providing the opportunity of a fish and chip supper for the guests during the week. It was excellent value for money.

The small site had a strong family feel to it and we felt as if we were part of that family.

The visit provided an opportunity to chill out and then explore the beautiful towns and beaches of the area. Concarneau and Pont Aven were delightful and we visited a number of small and picturesque beaches that were not overrun with tourists.

The site provides only the basic facilities of electricity and waste management for the caravan, but that is part of its attraction.

The house provides a number of bed and breakfast rooms which were outstanding in their decoration and comfort.

We have already recommended this site to a many of our friends and family and will most certainly visit again.

If you visit the area and miss this site, it will be a lost opportunity!
