My wife me and our dog have just had 5 nights at this site and the owners who's site it is are extremely helpful and friendly and gave good recommendations of places to visit.

Toilets and showers where very clean and well maintained the site was well maintained overall great place to stay

The only downsides is that we had to come home

We will certainly consider visiting again next year

Acacia farm is a cracking little site close to the Mendips for walking and close to the beach for those summer days. We have stayed 3 weekends in the last month and will be returning for sure.

The owners are extremely helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them, they share local knowledge on places to visit, eat etc.

The site is spacious and well laid out, hard standing allows for year round stays. Toilet and showers are fantastic and always clean at all times of the day.

There is a large grass area for the kids to play and you can keep an eye on them as the tents, caravans surround the grass area.

A large open field adjacent to the site allows for the four legged friends to get their exercise and our dog certainly loved the large open space.

Peaceful site but close enough to many attractions in the area, makes for a great break.

Highly recommended, and a big thanks to Sharon and Gary for running a great site.

This fantastic campsite is family friendly and dog friendly, we have visited this little known site for the past 4 years and every time we have loved our visit more than the last, in fact we have just returned from our honeymoon there.

The facilities are clean, and the showers are just what you need after a day at the beach, hot, and relaxing.

I would highly recommend this campsite to anyone looking to enjoy the peace and quiet, can't wait to return next year!

Mr and Mrs Rowberry.

Great little site lovely for families nice play area for the children to play, very nice for relaxing good size pitches.

The owners are two wonderful hosts nothing to much trouble site is kept spotless along with the showers and potwash.

The yurt and Teepee two great additions should you want to leave your unit at home and travel light.

Thanks to you both for making our week with very special

This is a spacious site with pitches that surround

A very pleasant, well mown, large patch of ground

That seems very suitable for games. There is even a

Small goal for football. However, it was very quiet

When we were there which suited us. The toilets/showers were spotless and luxurious in comparison with many campsites. The welcome we got was extremely friendly and we were greeted, on arrival, with some locally made cakes which were

Delicious. We found Gary and Sharon very friendly and helpful.

The site is only 10 minutes away from the M5 so is ideal for a relaxing break whilst travelling to and from the South Coast.

The best bit, as far as we were concerned, was the fantastic, very large, dog exercise field. This seemed to be a big attraction to many of our fellow campers as everyone seemed to have have dogs.

We highly recommend this site and will definitely return in the future.

I chose this site as it was close to the motorway and was handy for our return journey as a stop off. What a super site this is. I was very pleasantly surprised at the spaciousness of it all. We had a hardstanding and although there was plenty of room for our awning, we felt we could not be bothered to put it up for two nights. There is a large grassy area in the middle of the site which is large enough for kids to play football etc; there is even a swingball permanently placed for kids/adults to play. There are also bikes that can be used (including a tandem which I was desperate to go on but didn't!) There is a large dog walk at the top of the site. The toilets were superb. There are two with a shower cubicle/compartment in each one and they are spotless. There is plenty of hot water too! There is also a toilet housed in the red telephone box which can be used if the other two loos are in use. Sharon was delightful and full of local information. She showed me around the rally field which was huge, and advised that they have a caravan to rent out along with a wooden chalet which looked fabulous. I would recommend this site 100% and would definitely go back.

This is a great little site - did I say little?? It's really quite large for a CL. The welcome was great - like old friends. A big attraction of Acacia farm is that there is water on all the pitches, which is fantastic for a motorhome. Although we didn't use the facilities they were spotless.

The location is ideal for an overnight stop off from Yorkshire to Cornwall, and we spent one night on the way down and two on the way back! The pub opposite is basic, but fun, as the landlord has an ascetic sense of humour - and the meals are huge!

There's also a great cider farm opposite - we recommend the medium dry (delicious). It's also very convenient for the Gorge, and Burnham on Sea (although it's a wee bit of a drab resort), and don't forget to visit Axbridge village, which is lovely.

Used this site as a last minute booking as had to be in Burnham on Sea for the weekend. What a lovely site and an even lovelier welcome.

Was shown to the pitches and even with our large twin axle we had plenty of room. The wet rooms are fantastic with lots of piping hot water and spotlessly clean.

The site is so well manicured it makes you feel you are in much superior surroundings - not a farm next to the A38. Traffic noise is only a problem if you want to let it be. The owners have planted more trees to screen the site, but I don't feel it really needed it.

The local farm shop, village shop and pub are all very good.

All in all a cracking site and one we have already made plans to return to.

A lovely spacious site. We were with our family in their caravan. The boys aged 6 and 3 had plenty of space to ride their bikes and play football with other children on the site.

The owners were very helpful and kept the site tidy. The toilets and showers were spotless. We were there 5 nights. A lot of units used the site for overnight stay before travelling on.

There was a large field available for dog walking. Lots of places to visit and shops and supermarket at Axbridge.

We will definitely return to this site

We only stayed for one night as we down for T4 on the beach. We were made to feel very welcome.

The facilities were clean and although there was quiet a few of us staying there was no problem with access to use these facilities. There was plenty of room to choose from to pitch our tent.

I would definitely use this site again as it is ideally situated to visit the surrounding area. We did not make use of all the facilities within the surrounding area as we were just there for one night.

It would be nice to come back down and spend a little more time exploring the surrounding area.
