My wife and I visited for two nights, what a great site, not tono far from the motorway, and near to all local attractions. Although there is a main road (A38) nearby we did not notice the noise.
Lovely friendly welcome, no rush to pay fees.
Dog was made welcome.
Site is kept extremely clean and tidy and although only one toilet/shower room, for male and females, which were again were always clean and tidy, we had no problems.
The owner said a lot of people stop just overnight whilst travelling to other destinations, which is a shame as this is a great site.
We will be visiting again and we'll be stopping longer.

We used this site for an overnight stop on our way to Cornwall for its close distance from M5. We did miss the entrance on the way from the village.
We phoned the owner and she offered to wait outside so we could see where it was and advised from the direction we would be in we would struggle to access the site. Not a problem as we could go back a short distance and turn back in the right direction from the roundabout. Not only did the owner wait to show us the location as we passed but she waited there until our return from the roundabout.
Lovely quiet site with good size pitches. Facilities basic but more than adequate and very clean and for £15 we felt that the site represented good value for money. Lots to do nearby for a longer stop.
As I say we used it for 1 night but would stay longer and we will definitely use this site for our overnight stop when we go to Cornwall next year.

Stayed at this site for just 2 nights on the way to Devon but could have happily stayed longer. Sharon made us feel very welcome offering a choice of pitch and good local knowledge on places of interest. She even gave us some money off vouchers to use in the local towns. The pitch was sunny, level and very spacious with an open aspect, just what we like. The toilet and shower facilities were very good and kept clean at all times.Lovely spacious shower and plenty of hot water, All in all a very pleasant stay and would definitely return. A visit to Wells is a must especially for the Saturday market which sells fantastic local meat and produce. Also the queen vic pub in Priddy, a good drink and very friendly locals.

we visited this site in mid may as part of a local rally group. Super little site. It has a toilet and shower room for men and women. They are a nice large size. None of this small cubical stuff, these are proper wet rooms.
The site close to the main A38 so you do get a little noise but we didn't really notice it too much. There is a small shop about a half a mile form the site. It sells just about every thing you would need. Not to sure about buses as we didn't see any stop near the site.
All in all a very nice little site and we would have no probs returning.

5 van CS site situated just off the M5 on the main A38. Stayed here one night in February so no other campers around! Friendly welcome on arrival. Large hardstanding pitches with EHU. One large toilet/shower/sink room for each male and female. Very clean BUT NO HOT WATER to the sinks in either room. The water heater was on the floor in the ladies so obviously under repair - maybe just bad timing for us? Some road noise from the busy A38 but didn't bother us too much. A short walk (across the busy A38!) takes you to the village pub (dogs allowed in). It was very empty (but it was early) and they didn't seem to do food. There's a Post Office next door, but it was closed at 5:30pm.

Used this site as a weekend stop off on the way to Cornwall, what a fantastic site, its very easy to find from the M5, the chap that welcomed us was really welcoming. We had a hardstanding with electric which was very clean and tidy. Only a few other units on site so quiet at night, there is some traffic noise from the A38 but not enough to bother us. Would use again at £15 per night in August.

We stayed at this site for a long weekend. The owners were lovely and very unobtrusive. Although they were very helpful when needed. The site is large and quiet, there were only three other tents when we were there. The bathroom facilities were immaculate, however the toilets are in the same room as the showers and as there is only one toilet for men and one for women. My husband spent half an hour pacing up and down the field one morning waiting for someone to shower before he could use the toilet. This is the only small negative point that we came across. The noise from the road is noticeable but its not a nuisance. The little bird in the hedge protecting his nest was nosier!
We didn't use the local shop as there is a good sized Asda in Highbridge about 10 minutes away.
Lovely site and if we were staying in this area again we would use it again.

We stayed at this lovely CL for 7 days, the camping area consists of 5 hard standings with plenty of well mown areas for tents. The facilities were kept spotless throughout our stay and were a pleasure to use. We found this CL ideally suited for sightseeing the surrounding areas. Good pubs and restaurants within a very short distance and most importantly its owned by a very friendly family who are very helpful. This is a highly recommended site.

We have just spent a week at this site and liked it a lot. It was ideal for us as we like the quieter sites that have facilities such as EHU WC and showers. Also it was very reasonably priced. Dogs are welcome and there is a path mowed around the field where they can be walked. It is well placed for all the attractions in the area such as Cheddar Gorge, Glastonbury, Wells , Burnham on sea etc and if you are a walker you can walk up Brent Knoll from where the views are amazing. The site is very easy to enter and exit but the road outside can be very busy at rush hour and on Saturdays although it is fine the rest of the time. There is a post office approx 400 yards away where you can buy a daily paper and there is an Asda at Highbridge which is a short drive away (about 15 minutes). There is one WC/shower per gender and these were always very clean and tidy and the showers are free and always hot. There is a room for washing up where you can also hang clothes to dry and it has an iron and a fridge. The toilet and shower are in the same room so that if one is in use the other cannot be accessed by any one else although personally I didn't have to queue all week. It is dark at night and perhaps some lights on the EHU points as you find on some sites would help . Its a family run site and everybody was really nice and friendly (including the dog!) and the atmosphere is very laid back. We will definitely use this site again.

We used this site as a stopover on the way to South West Cornwall. There is some noise from the M5, as the site is only 8 minutes away from junction 22, on the A38. This is busy at all hours, so be prepared for some localised road noise. The camping area is beyond the house and it's large garden, and separated by a tall hedge. Access is by a gravel drive. There are 5 gravel hard standing pitches, with EHU, and two grassy areas for other campers. The pitches overlook a field.
The facilities are all near the house. There is a washing up room with hot water. One male and one female toilet / shower / washbasin room (a bit of a walk if you are desperate, or need the loo in the middle of the night, and there is no lighting on site). However, these facilities are absolutely immaculate and beautifully presented- and the showers are free. As a quirky touch, the chemical disposal point is situated in a converted red telephone box!
Walking from toilet facilities to pitch there is a small area (a couple of yards only) which has an unpleasant smell, but this may come from some water which is beyond the trees and bushes alongside the drive, and could have been the result of recent bad weather.
We did not use the local amenities, but there is a post office with general stores in the village.
A pleasant CC&C site, close to Cheddar, Weston-Super-Mare and Burnham on Sea for longer stays, but convenient for stopovers if travelling to the South West.
