 We stayed at this site for over 2 weeks in our caravan having spotted the site the previous year.
Upon arrival the warden was very helpful and efficient and we were able to select our pitch from the ones that were available. We picked a lovely pitch with fantastic coastal views.
The site, although full, was relatively quiet. There were children playing nicely and quite a few people had dogs with them.
There are laundry facilities on site but no shower block, though this wasn't a problem as we just used the one in our caravan.
There were plenty of water/waste and chemical waste points.
St Agnes is close by and has shops sufficient for most needs and Perranporth is only a short drive away, which is far more touristy and has a selection of takeaways and pubs.
The site does have a visiting chippy van and a curry van and also a van comes round in the morning selling newspapers.
You can access the beach via a footpath which starts across the road from the site - though it is fairly steep in parts (I managed it though and I'm quite unfit!) Wouldn't be suitable for anyone with mobility problems though.
The site is very well kept and maintains the usual high standards of the caravan club. You have to be a member to stay, but what we saved on commercial site fees more than compensated for the membership fees.
If you like sites which are fairly peaceful with stunning views and away from the hustle and bustle then this is perfect.
