Last minute booking to be close to a work appointment, was concerned it was going to be busy as during school holidays. Due to multiple accidents and thus delays en route, we arrived just after 7pm. The warden couldn't have been more helpful and there was still a reasonable choice of pitches.

There are lovely views from most parts of the site; some of the pitches in the centre of the grassed area look a bit snug but we had plenty of room. As others have said the coastal walking is wonderful, and some of it is wheelchair accessible; the sunrises and sunsets during a very hot couple of days were sublime.

It is in a slightly remote location - other than a tea room which was closed when we passed it there is nothing within easy walking distance; wouldn't want to use the road to walk to St Agnes and you need to be fit to go over the hill. But this makes it very peaceful and certainly more relaxing than many of the holiday parks would be at this time of year.

It has the usual good internal roads and convenient service points.

With only our 6. 7m motorhome for transport we had a couple of slightly nerve-wracking drives in and out of the site, the local beach car parks get full early on so even with a car you'll need to be an early riser to use them.

A great location for caravans (once you're in) or smaller campers in a fabulous part of the country.

This is a truly magnificent setting. The site is tiered so most pitches will have a sunset view of the horizon.

There are no toilet / shower facilities. But this makes this location special! Plenty of water and CDP plus Grey water disposal points.

The Wardens are top drawer. My mum died whilst we were here. Viv the Warden went out of her way to help me. She was superb.

St Agnes is a 40 minute slow walk from the site. You can walk to some excellent beaches and old tin mines in 30 minutes or less. A chippy visits regularly. See the chalk board.

Also I can recommend the Han Sum Chinese takeaway in the village.

This is wild Cornwall at its best.

This is a great site, with amazing views out to sea. Our pitch was not particularly level and even the ramps made little impact. Nicely spaced apart so you don't feel on top of each other. No facilities at this site so the impact of the covid restrictions were limited. Fish & Chip van visits the site, but take the time on the board to be an approximation only.

The site does suffer from sea mist, so it can look miserable in the mornings, but step off the site and you will soon be out of the mist and into the sunshine.

There is a new tea room just up the road from the site, (turn right out of gate) and this is well worth a visit.

Tip: Download the iwalk cornwall app and you can download a walk along the coastal path from Chapel Porth to St Agnes. It tells you where to go and even bleeps at you if you go the wrong way.

Although this site does not have a toilet block or WI FI we had two very tranquil nights here in wonderful surroundings. The site is very pretty and relaxed the wardens were very friendly helpful and a good laugh.

There is a good laundry room with information on site and a small shop at reception with essentials. There is a butcher, pizza van, and fish and chip van visiting the site on different days.

The walk to St Agnes town is about a 25 min walk and the same to the dog friendly beach. St Agnes town had a good few shops and pubs and a couple of small supermarkets. The views from this site are gorgeous.

If you love walking there are loads of footpaths and beach walks. A very relaxing place.

An attractive site in a lovely area. The walks on the coastal footpath were superb and the village of St Agnes was a delight to visit and had a wide range of shops, pubs etc and a very good museum of local life.

We booked this site without checking the price and it came as an unpleasant surprise just how expensive it was. We thought it very poor value for money.

Stayed here many times. Usually very quiet and pleasant place to stay. Sheltered at bottom of the site but you lose some of the lovely view. Last year, we did have anti-social behaviour from aggressive dogs next door. This year, someone was playing heavy base 'music' until almost 11pm. I suppose this can happen anywhere but it does take the edge off things. Overall, though, don't be put off. Worth visiting.

This must be the most picturesque site in the country. We had a week there in June, and again in September. The first week was mixed weather and the second was glorious sunshine. The facilities are a bit sparse, but we have the usual toilet/shower in the motorhome, so being without was not a problem. The wardens are the best we have come across; nothing was too much trouble. The only down side to the site was the access roads, which are a bit narrow in places, but at 2. 2 metres wide we were able to get through ok. We shall definitely be going back.

St Agnes village is about a mile and a quarter walk away and has a good pub and restaurant. The Victory in Towan is also well worth a visit.

We set our caravan up on a pitch almost in the middle of this site but couldn't see the sea because of the poor weather. In the evening the mist cleared and revealed a magnificent view along the coast to St Ives and out to sea. The site was almost full but didn't feel busy and was very peaceful. The Wardens were very friendly and helpful and always ready to help with any enquiry. A must when you stay at this site is a walk to nearby Chapel Porth beach along the coastal path. The beach is excellent and the little cafe serves up the most excellent food (try a iced hedgehog ice cream, and forget the calories). There are no toilets or showers, but it was nice to have our caravan supply us with everything for once. If you want stunning sea views and peace and quiet, this site is for you. Will be back again one day.

Loved this site - the view across to St. Ives and beyond is fantastic - although a bit fuzzy as it was drizzling when we were there - well it is Cornwall. The site itself was quiet and well set out, the wardens were friendly and helpful, lack of toilets/showers not an issue, the site does have electric hook ups. St Agnes is about 1/2 hr walk away. The road leading to the site is quite narrow, but plenty of passing places. Only stayed one night, but will definitely go back.

Arrived on very cold windy teatime to warm welcome from new Wardens.

Excellent views. Pitches flat to gently sloping. No shower / toilet block as expected but not a problem (price reflects this). Other facilities looked good. Nothing much around other than coast path and tin mine. Would visit again.
