Picked this site as a stopover on our way to south devon. What a lovely little site, easy to get to from the motorway. Pitches nice size and level, toilet and shower immaculate, only one of each though, owners very friendly and welcoming, nothing to much trouble, clevedon just 5 mins away, with tesco asda and morrisons _ handy if you need anything, will definitely be back !

Stay was for 2 nights.
SITE
The site was easy to get to and find, narrow roads but could squeeze 2 cars passed each other.
There was no one there when we arrived at the site but was advised to go around the corner to a small garage. The lady was very polite and led us to our pitch. Only a small site with all grass pitches although they are digging to make the site bigger on the other side of the fishing lake.
Pitches are fairly spaced and well kept. There is a unisex toilet cabin, which is split in 3 rooms. Toilet/shower/sink. These were all kept clean and tidy, cannot comment on the shower as we didn't use it.
This site is a lovely small site, very clean and tidy. We would visit again if we are down that part of the world.
AREA
Only went in to Western Super Mare, which is a nice place. There is a Tesco store about 5 minute drive from the site which was handy.

This site is a little gem, this was our 2nd weekend in a row here. Very quiet and peaceful with a super little lake to fish. At present there are 6 electrical hook up pitches, but the owners are in the process of doubling this on the other side of lake. A toilet and shower free of charge, washing up area with hot water, chemical waste and recycle bins. The owners are helpful and friendly. We love it here and will be returning again and again.
It tends to suit adults looking for a relaxing quiet stay as nothing for children here ( though they are welcome ). Which is what is so enchanting from the hustle and bustle of big campsites.
For us we rate this site and can't wait to return.

Just stayed here for a total of 5 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. The campsite itself is just a small field of about 5 touring vans and room for tents and has a decent size fishing lake on it. Arrived at the site to a very warm friendly greeting from the lady who runs the site and who was full of local knowledge she soon put us straight as to where to go for food shopping beaches etc. She made my little dog so welcome and I have to say she has the most loving dog herself. We were allowed to fish at any time day and night and there are some whoppers in that lake take it from me I was addicted to fishing the whole time we stayed lol. There was one toilet one shower on site which suited us fine the shower was always nice and hot and all areas were spotlessly clean. The owners husband and sons also came around at different times introduced themselves and they are all very pleasant and full of fishing knowledge (amongst other things but fishing is fab so. :)) it seems to be a family run business and might I say a fabulous job they are doing. There are sinks for washing up and they are very big on recycling which is brilliant. All pitches are nice n spacious plenty of room for our 2 cars van and awning. Very quiet and peaceful location although you can get to the beach within a few mins drive. We had absolutely no problems at all with the site and had the most wonderful time, in fact we have only just got home and are thinking of going back in the next bank holiday ! they are making the lake bigger too for next season so look out owners we are moving in hahahhahaha. If you stay at this site you will be guaranteed a fantastic welcome.
If the owners are reading this can we just say a massive thank you for helping us have such a great time and see you all soon.

Easy access from motorway, between 10-15 mins. Delightful countryside and whilst undeniably close to the motorway we were not in anyway disturbed by noise.
The owners were very friendly and most helpful - particularly when we misunderstood instructions and actually drove through the gateway to the garage forecourt to book in and then had to turn the van around - park on roadside!
Facilities clean. Recycling boxes in abundance.
If you are looking for on site entertainment and bars, this is not the place for you. It really is very peaceful.
Spent 3 very happy nights. Will no doubt return.

What a lovely site! Warm welcome, no unexpected extra charges! The grass is kept mown with the cuttings collected, so no mess in the tent. The toilet and shower block was spotless. With the help of Alice and their web site we found plenty to do even a gem of a local bistro. The Motorway isn't that far away but to put it in to context it was drowned out by the lambs in the next field and the birds in the trees. We loved it as did the children we will be back again and again!

Stayed over weekend (Friday & Saturday nights),
The shower/toilet block is clean and modern (one toilet and one shower & one wash basin area). There was a lot of motorway noise on the first night, second night not quiet so much but be aware the motorway is close.
The bonus of this site is the fishing lake, although the water level was very low the fishing was still fun.
The owner was very friendly but omitted to tell us prior to arrival that the price for a pitch with electric is the same price as a non electric pitch ? very strange!.
Families with children should be aware that the lake is unfenced, hence the low score for child friendliness.
Overall a nice site but location lets it down a little.

Nice peaceful and clean 'hideaway' site which is well run site and offers free fishing in the well stocked pool. Alice is very friendly and is a font of knowledge for local activities. The only downsides for larger motorhome users who do not have another form of transport whilst on site, were the lack of a local shop in Kingston Seymore and no bus service, so it was a 2. 5 mile trek into Yatton or 4 miles to Clevedon for essential supplies.

Site itself is nice and well kept; shower/toilet/washing up area all good and clean but when we visited twice in July on both occasions I had to clear previous visitors dog waste from our plot. Also the recycling bins are just not big enough and waste was falling into other containers/on the ground. Perhaps the owners could check the site a little more frequently for these issues. Location ok but the very reason I chose it is the reason I would not return - it is just too close to the motorway and very noisy - I hadn't realised just how close when I booked as a stopover on our way further South. Nearest pub approx half hour walk away and roads are very busy. Village nearby (about 10 mins walk) pretty but again very noisy from motorway traffic. Fishing pool added bonus to while away an hour or two and it's free.
