Lovely site easy to find isolated but safe feel. Ignore the M5 noise, very tranquil with fish leaping in the fishing lake, free fishing in lake. Plans to expand lake and site to give more room for tents. Great new shower and toilet block instant warm water in sink and shower. Owners give warm and pleasant welcome, use of bench and bbq available. Hook ups within easy reach of each pitch, even when wet ground firm.

Stayed for 7 nights in September and this being our first stay at a ccc site I was very impressed.
The new toilet/shower block is clean and warm but I took flip flops into the shower as it is more like a wet room.
The five pitches are all level and well spaced out with electric hook up.
The small fishing lake is stocked with carp, bream, roach/rudd, perch and gudgeon and I had many happy hours fishing. There is three commercial fishery's nearby if you're a serious fisherman.
Yatton village is about 10 mins drive and has a good selection of shops and takeaways.
This site is an ideal place to stay for visiting North Somerset and near the M5, which can be heard occasionally depending on wind direction.
The owners of this site are very friendly and I hope to return next year.

A warm welcome awaits at Cranmoor ccc from Alice the proprietor. The site was smaller than I thought but immaculate in its presentation.
The new block with toilet, wash basin and shower was as you expect from a new unit. The setting is superb with a small lake close by.
There is some traffic noise from the Motorway in the distance, but you soon forget about that.
This was our first time camping on our own and we enjoyed the location so much that we are going back in September.

This site is a little gem. A level field with a small fishing lake bordering one side. The new toilet, handbasin and shower are spotlessly clean and there is plentiful hot water.
We were met on arrival by Alice who was very welcoming and who gave us lots of information on shops and places to eat etc.
We will definitely return, only next time we will bring our fishing rods as there are plenty of fishing lakes in the area as well as the one on site.

A pleasant site with basic facilities and a small fishing lake situated within 4 miles of junction 20 M5. It provides electric hookup for units having their own sanitation The site is within about 400M. Of the M5 which could be a problem for light sleepers during hot weather when all the windows are open. The site owners are helpful and welcoming, the site is well tended with well maintained Elsan, waste water and fresh water points. It is good value for money. We would certainly use it again but probably only as a journey breaking site en route for Cornwall.

This is a delightful, new, CS site situated in the heart of countryside, but only a short distance from the M5 but not close enough for there to be traffic noise. It is a level grassy field (1.5 acres) with a gravel road which can be used as hard standing if needed. It has EHU, toilet emptying and water supply and the owners may put in a shower and toilet in the future. There is a fishing pond which is just being filled and will be stocked in the new year. I think that this will be for people using the site only. The owners are very friendly and helpful.
The site is not far from the coast for day trips (Weston-super-Mare & Burnham-on-Sea are the nearest) and the Mendip Hills for walking and lots of minor roads for cycling.
