Visited this site for a weekend break. Got a little confused with directions (flipping Sat Nav )but was directed to site by a kind lady we met along the road (later discovered that this was the owner).

Upon arrival at site, our name was written on a white board telling us which field we had to pitch in which I thought was a good idea. Only slight negative was that as there was nobody there to greet us we were unsure whether we could pitch anywhere or had an allocated space - we opted for the pitch anywhere option which turned out to be right - will know this for next time.

The pitches were well spaced out, neat and very level and the field benefited from numerous recyling bins, along with ordinary waste bins. The owner was very helpful the following morning when we discovered that our car had a flat battery - he brought his landrover to our pitch and gave us a jump-start.

The unisex toilets were always immaculate and well presented - sink, hand soap and air freshener in each cubicle. Didn't use the showers, so can't comment on these, but judging by the overall cleanliness of site, I am imagining that they too were immaculate. We would definitely use this site again.

Bit difficult to find at the final part of journey, ( a sign at the main road would have helped) also on a narrow road, so we were terrified of what to do if we met a tractor! But well worth it!

Very quiet farm site, enormous field with only 5 vans in, so no trouble with noisy neighbours. Very helpful owner, offered book of what to see and do. Lovely walks and views.

Watching the sheep and cows on the farm kept us amused. Clean showers and toilets, though could be busy in peak times. Gave us a taster for visiting The Dales area.

Will definitely go back here off peak season. Good value for money.

Access to the site is easy, except for the last half mile or so which is through narrow country lanes. Inexperienced caravan drivers may find this a bit of a challenge.

The site is set in open countryside with cows and sheep in adjacent fields, which the children loved. There were magnificent views all around.

On arrival, there was a sign indicating which field we were allocated to. There was only one pitch left but this didn't really matter, as all pitches looked super. They were level and included a wooden picnic table and bench.

The site was in excellent condition throughout. The toilet and shower blocks were immaculate.

Water tap was 30 yards from caravan. Toilet block approx 300 yards away. Toilet disposal approx 300 yards away but included trolley to transfer the unit.

The site manager was very friendly and gave us an information folder on arrival showing different days out in the region etc.

Children were welcome but there were no sign of any other children on the site. Also, there was no park or entertainment for children, although they did enjoy the farm animals.

Dogs were welcome and there were quite a few on site. There was a dog walking area away from the caravans that lead to the toilet block. This was kept very clean.

My only criticism of the site would be that there was no lighting at all, so torches had to be carried when walking the dog or going to the toilet block.

There was no shop on site. Nearest shops / pubs were approx 1 mile away.

We used this site to 'break' our journey back from the Berwick CC site (See separate review) and stayed for two nights, in essence, this was a mistake, we should have stayed much longer!

This is a simply fantastic site, set in fabulous countryside. There are enough hardstandings for each unit (although the site owner was at pains to point out that we could pitch anywhere) and each pitch comes with it's own picnic table and bench; a nice touch to save lifting the table in and out of the camper!

Facilities comprise 16A hook up to each pitch, two toilets and two showers (All absolutely spotless) and a Chemical waste disposal point. The facilities are a slight walk but who cares when the views on the way are as they are! Customer service even extends to the trolley the owners have kindly provided to save carrying the chemical toilet.

On arrival we were presented with a folder listing all local eateries and attractions. We choose the Victoria in Kirkby Malham, which although a little on the pricey side, provided generous portions of home made typical pub fayre and the best pint of Timmy Taylor Landlord I have ever had.

We spent our 'free' day on the Keighley and Worth Valley railway having caught the (regular) train from Skipton to Keighley. The railway is the setting for the 1970 'Railway Children' film and again, I would highly recommend. The attention to detail was superb and customer service and friendliness even drew comparison with the '21st Century' service back to Skipton from my 4 year old,

All in all - highly recommended - We'd love to go back however when we tried to book for next Whit week, the site was already fully booked. I'm sure we'll be back soon however to spend longer here!

A fantastic CL! Owners are very friendly, site is well kept, toilet/shower block superb and clean, lots of space, picnic tables available. Beautiful views, peace and quiet. What more could anyone want?

It is only a short drive to Gargrave for a pub, cafe or Indian cuisine; or you could cycle to Malham, visit the pubs there, or even walk up the magnificent Malham Cove. Grassington is a 20 minute or so drive away and offers many tourist related activities.

This site is lovely and quiet. It has all grass pitches spread over two fields, with lovely views. The field we were in was about two acres shared by five vans where you could choose where and which ever way round you wanted to be.

The facilities, two toilets and two showers were very clean, tidy and well looked after.

There is a village about two miles away which has shops and pubs and has nice walks by the canal.

The owners provide an information pack on arrival if needed. There are walks from the site which the owners will tell you about if you ask.

With the site not being far from Malham it is worth visiting the cove and if you feel energetic it is a nice walk from there over to Gordale scar, visiting Janet's Foss waterfall and back to Malham village.

There is a self catering cottage and they also do B&B.

We would visit here again for sure.
