We visited this site enroute to france as it is handy for the ferry terminal at dover.
The field was almost full and not very level so we found a nice spot in the woods.
All in all it was a nice site and with open fires allowed.
I wouldn't bother with buying firewood as there is plenty of deadwood in the forest.
The toilet/shower was very basic with a few spiders etc but fully functional.
The satnav takes you to a different farm, however if you carry on a few hundred yards the road bends to the left and the site is on the left clearly marked with a sign on the gate..

This site is nicely situated in woodland with the option of camping in the clearing or among the trees. Also really convenient for the Kent coast and Canterbury. Fantastic Pub and vineyard in walking distance.
However, the site isn't very well regulated, you can pitch anywhere which meant several large groups took over. Word of warning if you have a campervan - we saw two lose their pitch while we were there, you definitely have to mark out you area. Also we weren't told we couldn't park next to our tent and when busy alternative parking would be limited.
I agree with all the reviews regarding toilets/showers etc. Only one shower and two loos - which is not great when busy and not for those who value their privacy - the louvre doors are a bit disconcerting!
Would definitely recommend if you are in a group or don't mind a bit of late night noise or if you are going out of season. Shame the facilities let it down because otherwise lovely - get what you pay for I guess!

Woodland farm was the third test of our camping equipment and skills! having visited the Woods at Harmony and Evergreen Farm with only the foolhardy males of our families we finally managed to get our wives to join us on this occasion. They were persuaded by the prospect of basic facilities that included a hot shower. They were not disappointed.
The facilities were excellent and the site located in a hidden break in the woods leaving tents to pitch in a horseshoe. This made for a very friendly camping atmosphere whilst allowing people to still opt for seclusion, facing outwards into the woods.
Sandra was always around to help and was very accommodating when it came to locating camp fires etc. We were lucky enough to have a sweltering few days in the mid 20's which made the first trip for our combined families a great one.
The kids had a great time playing deep into the woods with no nagging parents on hand. Local attractions include Deal on the coast and Howlett's zoo back towards Canterbury. There is a tesco superstore about 10 minutes drive south down the A2 (first major roundabout) which was a god send when we realised we had left some our fold-away chairs at home!
All in all a fantastic combination of campfire living with facilities and a great location / owner. Would definitely recommend.

Our first camping adventure of the season! Arguably a little early, but worth the dicey weather. Woodland Farm has everything you'll need, including a lovely hot shower and plenty of firesticks. The ground is level and easily accessible. We camped amongst the trees in the wood itself and awoke to a beautiful dawn chorus. The camp site is a 5 minute drive to the nearest village, where we up ended up eating as the rain put out our fire.
Right off the A2, the site is close to both Canterbury and Dover, both brilliant for day trips. The owner was extremely welcoming, friendly and made us feel right at home. Highly recommended on all accounts!

We went to Woodland Farm over the August bank holiday and loved it and so did our kids!
Reading the review below I was really nervous about taking the kids (2, 5 and 7) as they are all boys who like to make noise! We did not have any comments made about how loud they were.
The facilities are basic but clean and you really don't get much privacy - people doing their washing up when you are on the loo!
Fires are in old washing machine drums and have been placed nicely around the field with a couple of pitches having benches next to the fire. Can collect loads of little sticks from the woodlands to get your fire started.
Barham is lovely and the Duke of Cumberland was a big hit with kids and adults! Nice village type shop at the Black Crow(??) which also doubles up as a pub.
Will definitely go back

All weekend we just loved this peaceful woodland campsite with it's small but clean facilities, wooded area for kids to play, campfires made out of old washing machine drums - a bit quirky but that's what made it fun. The site was supposed to be booked solely for our Volkswagen club but we were quite happy that some of the other pitches were taken too, there was room for everyone. What we objected to was on departure being told our children had been too noisy all weekend! They were kids enjoying themselves in the made-up wooded playground & yes they weren't always quiet but then they were kids being kids & I thought, on the whole, were v. well behaved.

This was my first camping trip after a gap of about 100 years. Woodland Farm provided the perfect re-introduction. It is a peaceful little site, located in coppice woodland off a single-track lane. Its centrepiece is a grassy clearing which has space for 8 or more tents. However, campers also have the option to pitch among the trees.
Open-fire areas are scattered all around the clearing and the woods; enough to shake a stick at. Some even have seating. The single amenity hut was clean, with two toilets and a nice hot shower. That's as far as the facilities go but who wants more? Birdsong, campfires, chilling out and enjoying nature are what this place is all about.
The surrounding country lanes and North Downs scenery are there to be enjoyed. In Barham village, the friendly Duke of Cumberland pub offers good, reasonably priced food together with hand-pumped ales. Historic towns like Canterbury, Sandwich and Deal are within easy reach, as are the white cliffs of Dover and St Margaret's Bay.
Overall we loved the place and look forward to returning.

A wonderful secluded site in large wooded area great for dog walking etc, site was full to capacity this weekend but still felt very cosy and private. Pitches are large and individual fire pits are a lovely way to spend long summer evenings with friends, toilets and shower basic but clean and lovely.Owner very welcoming. Lots to do in surrounding areas would recommend this site to anyone.

I took my 3 children on our first ever camping trip in early June. I chose Woodland Farm as it was a small site with all the facilities needed, and they allowed campfires.
We arrived on Thursday afternoon and were allowed to choose where we pitched our tent. At the time there was only one other tent on the site so there was plenty of room. The other tent belonged to two brothers named Matt & Jeremy (Matt was also mentioned in another review), they helped me put up the tent, start the fire and kept the kids (and me) entertained over the three days which was brilliant! Really enjoyed sitting by the fire till late with a glass of wine having a chat.
The site itself is surrounded by woodland which you are free to explore. My kids aren't used to having this much open space and freedom so they loved it. There's also a rope swing tied to one of the trees that kids (or adults!) can use. There are 2 toilets, 1 shower, washing-up sink and personal washing sink available for use. These are all housed in a small wooded hut. There's no electricity though so don't bother with the hairdryer!
The nearest shop we found was a Londis in the town of Bridge. This was quite a decent sized shop and was well stocked.
We really enjoyed our stay at Woodland Farm and really didn't want to come back. We've already booked to stay again in August.

We were group of 6 adults with 3 tents looking for a good weekend away in the woods and that is what we got. The campsite is set in the countryside amongst a extensive wood, on site was a small building which housed 2 toilets and a rather modern shower which was lovely and was kept really clean. Inside was also two sinks one which was used for washing up other as a basin, the girls in our group were really impressed to find toilet rolls, washing up liquid, handwash, flash wipes and many others things which are appreciated and not expected. Only down side to the toilets- no lighting although I did notice some push lights which were thoughtful but not much use this really wasn't a problem unless you didn't have a torch!
We arrived quite early on friday and had the pick of available spots we chose a spot which was hidden 10metres into the woods which was big enough for 3 small tents surrounded by woodland it was very secluded and allowed us to party a bit if we wanted without causing a nuisance to any surrounding campers. We made ourselves at home built 2 fires and a seating area. Logs are readily available 3 sacks for £10 they lasted us the 2 nights we were there, a man called matt who was camping on the main field heard us moaning that no one brought any firelighters and came over and offered us some of his which was nice and we returned the favour in beers the next day.
We heard that the restaurants/pubs were 20 mins walk so we headed off and found them in time asking some people for directions on the way all of which were friendly and helpful. A must is to visit the duke of cumberland pub which is lovely and the food is great. Friendliest owner ever who even directed us to a place showing the england match. Close to canterbury centre, there's a londis and cash machine in bridge 3min drive away. All in all we all had a great relaxing time at woodland farm would recommend it, the lady owner was very nice and helpful and does such a brilliant job of the place. Cant wait to go back. Didn't want to leave in the first place!
