Wonderful campsite set in woodland clearing, owner and family were extremely friendly and helpful,. A truly beautiful and rustic site. We booked for a late weekend break (sun - tues), there were a few families packing up on the Sunday when we arrived, from sun afternoon till we left we had the site to ourselves and had a fantastic time relaxing, enjoying a glass (or 2) of wine by the fire, being woken by the morning birdsong, eating breakfast listening for the pheasant, cooked a fantastic steak and potato meal on the fire ( bought from local shop, very reasonable priced).
Facilities are basic , but very adequate, and well maintained. With loads of little personal touches from the owners, which make this a site I would recommend, and will visit many times in the future.

Came here over a busy bank holiday and loved every minute of it. As its already been said it's well hidden but my GPS did find it so wasn't too much trouble getting there.
We chose one of the pitches in the woods and was lovely to have our own little space. Though it wasn't completely private as we often got visits from children collecting wood! The owners are incredibly friendly and it all has a very relaxed atmosphere.
The facilities are small but with only room for a maximum of 8 tents at a time we never once queued. They were kept clean and shower was amazingly powerful and hot.
The local pub is a good 20/25 minute walk in Barham but its worth a walk to. Didn't eat there but nice looking menu and had a lovely pint of spitfire in the garden there. Also worth noting that they now do cash back in there. Nearest shop (Londis) we found was in Bridge which also has a collection of nice pubs. Or Morrisons is a 20 minute drive up the A2.
I do hope it remains as its a great little place and I thoroughly recommend it.

I came to this campsite over the easter bank holiday weekend with 5 friends, we had 4 tents and were welcomed happily, once we got there, Its quite a well hidden place but when we found it we realised why. The grass pitch was quite small but extremely cosey. There were some small pitches dotted around in the woods for those who wanted an even more private experience. The owner was really friendly. We were allowed open fires but were supplied with a washing machine drum to build our fires in. Wood cost £10 for three bags, but if you didn't want to spend that money you were allowed to scavange wood from the woods. The facilities were small, and unisex, there's is only 1 shower, 2 toilets, a kitchen sink and a bathroom sink, with constant free hot water. The shower was really pleasant and warm, and insect free (apart from butterflies which are nice), They are also very clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend this site.

Such a lovely and peaceful site surrounded by trees, not too big, exactly how we like it. It has 2 toilets and 1 shower which was clean and tidy, also a washing up sink with hot water. What made it for us was the campfires which was always supplied with logs we have never been to a site that allowed this, Sandra and Eric were very friendly and helpful. The nearest pub is about a 15 min walk, or if you just want a peaceful time this is the place to go. We cant wait to go back roll on the summer

We stayed for 3 nights, attracted by the small site, and it was lovely. Small WC/shower block, but with endless hot water, great! Fire pits for every pitch with free firewood, makes for nice evenings sitting chatting. The site has no concrete footpaths, so can get muddy quickly, and the grass appears to be suffering as its such a small site, there is no electric lighting in the WCs so take a torch! That said, its a great site, with a refreshing lack of rules, health 'n' safety signs etc! Worth visiting, with very nice Duke of Cumberland pub in nearby Barham.

We spent a lovely bank holiday here. Peace and quite, excellent washing facilities and loads of prepared firewood courtesy of Aaron & Kyle the owners grandsons. Various pubs, shops and tourist attractions close by but we found the site so peaceful we just sat round the fire chatting and relaxing. Highly recommended way to spend a weekend or more.

We stayed Woodland Farm for two nights and all very much enjoyed ourselves. The surrounding area was lovely and peaceful as was the camp facilities. The owners showed us our pitch which was complete with it's very own firepit! Superb! The shower and washing unit was well maintained and cleaned daily. Our two boys as well as our friends spent majority of the time playing in the field. There was also a rope swing for the boys to play on. A fantastic campsite which we will all be visiting again. There is a village nearby that you can walk but no village shop. However, the main supermarket is a short drive away for sundries.

This is the first site we have been to and so were not quite sure what to expect. We found the site owners very friendly and welcoming and were shown to our pitch which was quite large enough for our large tent. The site was pretty level and well maintained, surrounded by trees which gave shelter from any wind.
The toilet block was basic; two WCs, a shower, a washbasin and sink; but was clean and plenty of hot water all at no extra cost.
Overall a very pleasant, quiet place to be and relax and very close to Canterbury. We would heartily recommend this site.

We were not sure about booking with a site having only 5 pitches but were swayed with the idea of having a camp fire. When we arrived we were welcomed by the owners, shown to our pitch, amazed at how much space was allocated to each tent, we felt we had our own private area. The camp fire facilities were brought to us with an endless amount of firewood! The shower and toilet facilities were more than enough along with the washing up facilities. Local shops and pubs all within 5 mins drive / 10 mins walk across field. We cant wait to go back. There is no play area for children but as a group of adults getting away this was good for us.

Our 1st time camping, this site is great very quiet, beautiful hot showers, clean toilets. Lovely owners and very helpful. For instance 1 day they went out to the shop and asked all the campers if they needed anything from the shop. Will Definitely return, we liked the fact its very small site.
