Great site even though it has no toilet block, the wardens were really nice. We had a hard standing pitch not far from the road but we didn't really notice the traffic noise.
This is a really central site for the moors or the sea. The co-op supermarket is about 5 mins away and we found a really nice place to eat in Bovey Tracey called The Dolphin Hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at this idyllic site set amongst the beautiful stover country park which is free to walk around plenty of wildlife including ducks to feed.
The site is well managed and is peaceful. We have a 35ft American RV and there was plenty of room for us. The wardens of the site were so helpful I didn't have a long enough hose pipe to fill up with water but the warden leant me one which saved me moving to get more.
We stayed at the first May bank holiday weather was great although we did not bring a car we didn't miss it as we have all we needed and the walks around the park were amazing.
Will definitely return again as it is only an hour and a bit away great site well worth a visit

Very clean and tidy site. No toilet block, but several water fill points and disposal facilities, all spotlessly clean and well laid out. Helpful friendly wardens.
Quiet site, but a little road noise on the few pitches near the entrance.
No shop on site, papers, eggs, ice creams in the office. Good information room. Chip van every Friday night.
No play area, but right next to Stover Country Park, good for feeding the ducks, and nice children's trail. Good for walking dogs.
Bus stop outside site, with buses to Newton Abbot, connecting to most places including Torquay, Paington etc. Family rover ticket was £16 for the day. 5 minutes drive from Traego Mills, and Co-op. More shops in Newton Abbot. Good leisure centre there, with good swimming, but timed sessions, so check before you pay.
