Lovely site, level pitches, and a good sized pitch for motorhome, car and trailer.
Nice dog walk by stream.
Great walks in Stover Estate, access by gate 50m from site.
Very well kept site, no toilet facilities, but if self sufficient, then no problem at all.
Points out of ten 9.

We were very impressed with the tidiness and cleanliness of Stover Caravan Site. The pitches and grounds were immaculate, the service points for fresh water and waste were super clean and the wardens friendly and efficient.
The fact that there is no shower block is well publicised and didn't present us with any problems.
The dog walking area was ideal. All the visitors were quiet, polite and chilled – even the kids that a few had brought with them were too.
The site is easily reached from the nearby A38 and although the site is quite large it didn't feel overcrowded or busy.
Its location means it's easy to get to beautiful Dartmoor or the bustling English Riviera.
It's located alongside the A382, the main road to Newton Abbot and although we could hear the traffic as we pitched quite near the exit, it wasn't obtrusive unless the occasional boy racer went by.
A Co-op is nearby as is Trago Mills and golf club, neither of which we visited. Stover Country Park is next door and is very beautiful – well worth a visit.
The price for the site was very reasonable so we'd happily recommend it.

Immaculate and quiet site. Handy for a stopover but also good for a few days.
Bus stop outside the site and walking from the site through the adjoining Country Park.
No facilities.
Will stay again.

This is a typical Caravan & Motorhome Club site.
It doesn't have a loo/shower block. It is very pleasantly landscaped with mature trees around the site.
All pitches are hardstanding, all with power.
The only negative thing I could say is that the road is noisy first thing in the morning (I suspect that it's busy with people going to work).
Newton Abbot is about one mile away with a conveniently sited Asda.

A pleasant site, quite despite being so near a major road. Great being next door to Stover Country Park.
Nice little dog walk but not suitable for letting dog have a free run. Not fencing or gates and beside a river!

Access to this site, even with the largest of outfits, couldn't really be easier. A wide entrance gives access direct off the A382.
The site has no toilet block, and the friendly wardens are keen to point this out on arrival (do some people not check the details before booking?)
The site is well kept and is beautifully set surrounded by mature trees. Service points are conveniently located and were kept nice and clean and tidy.
Excellent 4g coverage on EE and the TV booster system worked perfectly, picking up a wide range of channels.
The site has a good dog walk, but longer walks are available in the adjacent country park, with a pedestrian gate just a few yards from the entrance.
Road noise in unavoidable. The Devon Expressway gives off a constant background hum and boy racers opening up their throttle on the adjacent A382 would bother some visitors.
A large Co-op at Trago Mills is available for provisions just 3/4 mile away.

This is a well kept site. Pitches are hard standing. There are no toilets or showers but water and waste points are convenient to all pitches.
TV reception can be a problem. Currently signals are picked up from a mast at the nearby golf club and re-broadcast, via a mast on site, around the site.
Unfortunately not all pitches get the signal due, probably, to trees and shrubbery. If TV is important to you I advise checking reception at an early stage so that moving pitch can be done without packing everything away again.
The wardens say that plans are afoot to rectify this problem. I would happily use this site again and have no hesitation recommending it.

This was our first visit to Stover, but I can assure you it will not be the last. What a wonderful site very friendly and helpful wardens, very spacious pitches and hardstandings.
Well maintained grass and hedges, all in all 1st class. The site is just off the main road, supermarket 1/2 mile away as is Trago Mills hyper store selling everything.
Stover country park is 50 yards away (bordering the site) wonderful lake and woodland walks (our 2 Labradors loved it). The area abounds with wildlife, can not wait to return soon !.

Stayed at this Caravan Club Site 2 or 3 times now. The site is set right next to Stover country park where you can walk for miles. The site itself is a mixture of hardstandings and grass pitches.
There is no toilet block or washing facilities so you must be self sufficient. Having said that its a great site with very helpful wardens.
There is a bus stop almost outside the main gate where you catch the bus for a short ride into Newton Abbot. Interestingly, if you catch a bus and have to pay it, s cheaper to ask for a day rider ticket than a return ticket.
We went for a meal at Stover Golf Club literally across the road. They allow members from the site to use the club for a drink or a meal.
Access to the site is very easy for motorhomes and caravans. Its about 2 minutes from the A38 dual carriageway and then an easy main road right to the site entrance. There can be a bit of road noise but not enough to worry about. If you don, t like too much road noise ask for a pitch further into the site further from the road.
Will certainly visit again

Well this was our second visit to Stover, It was still as amazing as last year the country park is what makes this site so special as dog owners it was fantastic to walk our dogs.
The shop on site stocks some essentials to get you by but the local co-op by trago is excellent. I must say for those Men that don't like shopping don't let the wife near trago you will be there hours! I was dragged there three days running! I must say that trago is superb but after three trips I was getting to the point where I couldn't go again.
Anyway getting back to site I must say how helpful and friendly the staff are keep up the good work.
Although this site has no toilet or shower block it still remains in our top 5 sites to return. Well worth a visit
