A dreamy place to stay. Perfect spot for peace & quiet in a natural setting.
Located right next to river and well organised for hiring or using own boat. Thank you!

Great location, peaceful, well organised site with friendly and helpful owner.
Lovely spacious pitch in one of the 'camping bays' next to the arm of the river Waveney into which you can launch own or hired Kayaks, Paddleboards etc.
Good COVID precautions in place.
Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Excellent site well run and very covid minded. Lovely to see the broads boats coming down the river and the amount of people using the "ditch" for canoeing, paddle boarding etc.
Just one thing I didn't understand was that the washing up facilities were unavailable but the showers were. On that point, the showers were really power showers, lovely for washing hair etc never been in a shower so powerful!
Jodi greeted us on arrival and called during the week to check everything ok and again on going home.
Cant recommend the site highly enough, very quiet and relaxing and will definitely stay again as and when allowed!
Keep up the good work Jodi.

We had a fab stay here.
Jodie, the owner, was lovely and has done an amazing job with the site. Her communication and help via WhatsApp pre-arrival was really helpful and speedy too.
We had a huge pitch, right on the edge of the water. The site had a really chilled vibe and it was lovely to be able to relax during the current COVID situation.
We didn't use the toilets or showers as we have our own on board but I know they were regularly cleaned and hand sanitiser was available in key places on site.
We launched our own paddle boards and kayak each day from the boat shed, although the site has a huge array of craft available to hire. It was an easy cycle into Beccles and there were also walks from the site.
It is a beautiful location, with a lovely laid back but organised vibe, and we loved it :-)

Stunning location surrounded by a picturesque river.
Stayed for a few days with family as a getaway and what a place to do so! Relaxing environment with very clean shower and toilet facilities. The site had plenty of hand sanitiser stations and disinfectant sprays to make you feel as safe as possible.
The site has wonderful canoeing, kayaking and paddle-board routes as well as being close to supermarkets, beautiful rural and seaside towns and plenty of off-site activities.
To top it off the staff are fantastic. Jodie was lovely on every encounter and Charlie could not have been more helpful, what a legend!

Had a fantastic stay here. Facilities where exceptionally clean. Jodi really made us feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble.
The pitches are a fantastic size with the drake one side and the river the other.
Definitely recommend the kayak hire.
Looking forward to our next visit.

Excellent host running a really lovely relaxing site in beautiful surroundings.
First class facilities that are well maintained and very clean. Super access to all main towns and large shops are within an easy commutable distance in Lowestoft.
Plenty of space for children and families and would therefore thoroughly recommend this site for a quiet break.
Particularly like the fact that dogs are made welcome.

A stunning site. It forms an isthmus out into the Waveney, with water on three sides.
As you enter the site, you pass the play area and Facilities building (kitchen, showers (the biggest!), loos, office, canoe rental). JUst past this are grass pitches favoured by caravans, motorhomes and megatents, of whom favour electricity. (This is the area for hook ups)
But carry on and you come to wonderful wild pitches in mown areas surrounded by large areas uncut and the river behind and in front. The views here are unimpeded by any buildings and overlook grazing marsh with an abundance of trees on site. Hammocking and fires are allowed, or encouraged. So quiet and beautiful.
The site does though get very booked up, always worth having a word with Jo the owner, who couldn't have been more welcoming during our stay. A great place to stay to explore the Broads by Watertaxi or canoe. Two excellent pubs nearby. ….
(I was there with my own canoe, and camping in the "wild" area in a canvas tent, as part of our exploration of the Broads by canoe. )

Just got back from a couple of days here this was my 4th visit this year
The site was busy with motorhomes and caravans which were all at the top of the site but plenty if space for our 2 small tents in the wilder part further down great site very peacefully and quiet as always really like this site as it is so peaceful and friendly toilets and showers are always clean
And sitting by your tent having a campfire with the views over the water meadows is lovely.
Will be back again soon
