Just been to westbrook for four nights. Been here many of times. Site does not seem so clean and tidy as before eventhough it was quiet. This site could do with a small bar. Allthough the fox and goose just down the road is great its a fair walk every night. Back to the site they have put cuts across the grass for drainage i pursume but with the hot weather they have opend up some of them are 4 inches wide and 12 inches deep so go carefull if you have small dogs or kids they could easily hurt their foot down them ! Apart from that had a great time. Also if you want a good breakfast try the artfull dodger in burnham on sea its great

Chose this lovely, friendly site for a one night stop on our way to Cornwall. Ideal stopover as it was only 10-15 min. Off the M5. Could have happily stayed longer and explored the interesting areas nearby. Managed a walk with the dogs through the sand dunes and along Brean Beach & enjoyed tasty fish & chips from a small cafe at Burnham-at-Sea. Large pitches. Clean and well-kept toilet/shower block with piped background music. Good dog walk around field. Perhaps more suitable for adults than children.

We stayed here for the weekend in a tent as it is close to where my Parents live and is reasonably priced.
This site is very clean with a good view of Brent Knoll.
The toilet/shower block is also very clean and warm. The showers are hot (until you are used to it they are a bit too hot) and the toilets don't smell.
All the pitches are a really good size and the people running it are very friendly.
We could hear the traffic from the Motorway as the wind was blowing in that direction, however you could hear the odd sheep bleating too which was nice and a good reminder you was in the country.
Children would be safe running round the site but there is nothing for them to do here.
We will definitely be back here.

We stayed here for bank holiday weekend site was great site manager couldn't be more helpful really friendly and welcomeing as you don't find many places that takes car clubs
Only down side to the park is lack of stuff todo for the kids ie a little park for the kids
Surroundings are nicely located in the mendips close to highbridge and burnham on sea close to the motorwayand main route to weston super mare
In all a great place and we shall be back soon

Our 5th visit in 4 years and still the lovely site we have come to love. Lovely couple on site. New improved larger showers this year. Beautiful pub at the end of the road with fantastic meals. The site was easy to reach and only a 5 min drive to the sea front. Already planned this site for next year. The pitches are the largest we have ever seen, clean and tidy as ever. There is a new entry system via an electric barrier so no more fiddling with the combination lock in the dark. There is however a deposit for the fob but you will get it back at the end of your stay. Level pitches and cut regular. We only ever use the 10m electric cable and the water is only across the roadway. There is a dog walk in the next field. The new wardens are lovely and easy to speak to and live on site.

Arrived on site and greeted by the very friendly owner and his dog. The pitches were really big and spacious with plenty of space for your caravan and awning on hardstanding (there are 8 hardstanding pitches) or you could put your awning on the grass and park your car alongside your caravan.
The site is completely level so really easy to pitch up.
The toilet block was clean and the showers were hot every day (Free showers)
There is a dishwashing room for campers
The water supply was very close (opposite in fact) and the electric supply near to your unit (you may not reach with a 10m cable though)
The grass was cut almost every day by the owner and was kept clean and tidy.
There is a dog walk around a large corn field at the rear of the site which was great.
The site is near the motorway but you can only hear a very low humming sound if you concentrate and is only 10 minutes from the coast. 5 minutes away there is an Asda and Highbridge Caravans if you need any spares or Calor gas.
Overall an excellent site, easy to find, 2 minutes from the motorway, level, clean and definitely worth the visit.

Westbrook farm is exactly what I wanted, a very clean site, great shower and toilet block a great improvement to the last ones, nigel is always very helpful with his little dog running always at his side, overal a great site with a very relaxed atmosphere, very close to the motorway with not much noise, 5 mins drive to burnham beach, great takeaway shop and tescos nearby, with the added bonus of being able to store a van what more could you want from a site, in my opinion one of the better sites around

We use this site for a stopover, it’s located a few min’s from the M5, Nigel always greets us with a friendly welcome & his friendly dog at his heels is lovely.
This year there are new toilets & showers; they are clean but maybe disappointing to anyone who is expecting them to be Caravan Club standard. We don’t have a dog but noticed a really good dog walk had been opened up.
My personal opinion is this site meets our requirements for a night or two, but I would probably be looking nearer the beach to stay on one of the larger cheaper ones if I had children or to the caravan club site which is £1 more if facilities were a priority

2 years since first we visited this site, much improvement, new toilet/shower block - clean, warm
Further improvements to come
Nothing for children here but it's easy to check this out on website, as are distances to shops, pubs, attractions, of which there are many for all ages/preferences
Dogs to be kept on leads - quite right. Nigel extremely helpful, nice to see his loyal dog at his side or following in his wake.

The best that can be said of this site is that it's very close to J22 of the M5, and the reception's very friendly. The 'tranquil Somerset landscape' of their website is marred by traffic noise from the busy A38 and M5. Pitches are directly underneath power lines and children play between the pylon legs. The facilities (all of the 'portaloo' type, shower tokens 50p) are some of the worst we've encountered anywhere. Incredibly, there's only one female toilet for the whole large site, not counting the one without a door (really!) right next to a dishwashing sink. There's no speed limit sign, and we watched in horror as two taxis drove in at speed, throwing up clouds of dust and scattering the small children playing unsupervised on the roadway. There is a 'dogs on leads' sign but not enforced. Overall, it was sad to see so many 'hard working families' holidaying here, when just by looking on this website they could find cheaper and truly pleasant sites within easy reach.
