Lovely sight very well run and friendly family who make sure you are catered for.

I especially like the information on the arrivals board informing you which field and pitch is yours.

Great campsite! Very nice warm welcome, beautiful sunset, clean facilities (still in the process of upgrading).

Great to have local eggs and some essentials if needed. Offering campfire equipment in good price. Shame we didn't have enough time to do great coastal walk.

Would definitely go back when in the area again.

Lovely site. Easy to find from signposts off A39. Name on blackboard at entrance to site makes it easy to know which field you are on.

Four shower/toilet cubicles only at the moment though building work is continuing in main block. A small shop to buy milk, eggs, bacon and other essentials.

Owner always has time for a chat and a giggle! We hired a fire pit at £7 on one night which was very effective.

Conveniently close to a Lidl, Aldi and Asda. Ten minute drive into Bideford. Had a lovely meal at the Thatched Inn in Abbotsham which felt Covid secure.

We'd planned on four nights but extended it to six. Very friendly, welcoming site.

We will return!

Lovely site. On arrival the first thing you see is a greeting notice with your name & pitch location, saves on looking around for owner & wondering where to set up.

Nice spacious pitch with EHU as requested.

Toilet, shower laundry, water & waist point all available. Nice little shop at reception selling limited but needy supplies.

Amazing location in North Devon ( although I’m biased as I forgot to say my journey time from home was less than 10 mins)

Nice walks & easy to get on the SW Coast Path.

Oh! Lovely owners & hosts by the way.

Highly recommend.

9/10. Loose 1 point as I forgot my whisky for my evening tipple.

Enjoy, we did.

Lovely quiet site, friendly, pitches very big,

Only downside was the showers could have done with mop bucket in them so each guest could mop up after showering, floor was constantly wet.

Lovely site. Great location and views. The owners are very welcoming and there to help. My main advice would be to ignore your sat nav if it is trying to take you through Abbotsham. Carry on the A road about another mile or so and there is a turning to the right which has a westacott sign on it. This road, while still narrow, is much wider than the one through Abbotsham.

My only very minor criticism would be that on Thursday night we had a a plan for a barbecue sitting outside and looking at the views. When we return to the caravan there was a chip shop caravan parked right across the front of us with a generator going non-stop until 7:30. This annoyance was compounded buy the camp entertainer who was singing 1960s songs very loudly a d very badly.

Very minor criticisms for what was a lovely stay

Only storm Francis’ strong wind coming on our tent at 50miles per hour diminished our staying at Westacott Farm! All campers/caravans had no issue but tents suffered!

We will return to this campsite as it has good facilities and superb position to visit either the near beautiful surroundings than further beaches and hills in North Devon!

Bridge is lovely, And so everyone working on the site: friendly and helpful! We had great time!

The ‘laundry’ room offers a washmachine kettle icefreezer and there is a radio that works well when not chatting with other campers!

There were families with very young children that have been coming to this site regularly!

Beautiful spot indeed so close yo the sea! Top banana!

What a brilliant find. We were new to camping and we couldn’t have wished for a better campsite.

The kids loved the play equipment and goals,

The showers were always clean and Bridget was very welcoming.

Absolutely stunning campsite. Views from Lundy Field are spectacular with amazing sunsets over Lundy Island.

Lovely local coastal walks.

Campsite is very well kept and Bridget is so lovely and friendly. Perfect for families with young children as there’s swings and climbing frame in the middle of Lundy field so children can play safely and be seen by parents at all times.

And only £20 per night with hook up! Would highly recommend.
