Stunning views and walking have to be the main attraction to this site. We were directed to the top of a very wet field which although gave us great views, didn't help when trying to get off site - no bother though because the owner towed us out very efficiently - think he might be used to it! The shower/toilet block in the field was disappointing being very tiny and basic, though it did have radio piped through which was nice. Overall we've paid a lot less for better facilities but that has to be balanced with the views and walking. For motorhome owners note; its miles from any shop we could find.

Had a nice two night weekend stay over a wet and very windy weekend.
The site was well signposted and easy to find. It was nice having booked to have our name written up on the chalk board at the entrance so we knew which field to head for, and also having our name at the pitch was a nice touch. It was good to have a friendly welcome when paying.
Being November, I'd booked a hardstanding pitch and given the rain I was glad about that. The facilities were well kept and modern. The shower lacked a little water pressure but was just about warm enough. There was a good little camp kitchen for washing up with a microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer.
The weather did put pay to the walking we had planned, but there was plenty around in very short driving distance to entertain us.
Will definitely return to this site as in the bad weather we enjoyed it, so can imagine in the sunshine how lovely the area would be.

We stayed here for 7 days as a last minute extension to our holiday, The site managed to fit us in on the top field but without electric as all hook ups were taken. Whilst we had no electric the views on the top field are much better. The owners of this site work constantly to make sure you get the best from your stay. The toilet block was kept immaculate considering the area had been hit with a lot of rain over a short period of time. Everybody I talked to on the site was very happy with the site, the only complaint was that the farmer was not able to control the weather better.
It is ideally placed for visits to the Big Sheep and the Milky Way, additionally only 5 mins to Westward Ho beach. We hope to be back next year. I would highly recommend this site.

Just returned from Westacott. We booked very last minute and the owners did their best to fit us in, it did mean we were on a different pitch each night but being in a Motorhome and vacating the site each day this only made for us trying out every area of the site. The site is a very safe place for families but also very quiet with fantastic views across to Lundy Island and beautiful sunsets. The site facilities are great and kept very clean, most pitches have hook up and the owners could not have been nicer. Westacott makes a great base for touring north Devon and we will definitely be going back.

This was our first trip to Westacott Farm but we will definitely be back! After winding our way between hedgerows and fields we arrived at our location: a huge field with plenty of room between each caravan, trampolines and swings for the children in the middle, a clean shower/toilet block at one end and the most stunning view from the top of the field. Our pitch was named and waiting for us with electric hook-up and water next to us. We were free to drive staight in and set up before we had to contact the owners, who, without any word of a lie, are some of the friendliest, most welcoming people I have ever met! The whole family were a pleasure to talk to, which we did a lot! They had numerous leaflets on local attractions but even more so, were a mine of personal information on the area and surroundings. They sold basic food requirements and some local meat from their office, which was open from early in the morning to late at night. Pet goats and chickens wandered happily around the farm buildings and you could even watch Neil feed his rescued Barn Owls every night. The area is prolific for things to do and see, with stunning coastlines and attractions inland. Supermarkets and shopping are plentiful and nearby but I could have sat and looked at the view for my whole holiday and left feeling privileged to have been there. My advice would be, if you're looking for a restful and relaxing holiday with a lovely hosts in Devon, then this campsite should be top of your list.

Fabulous site, amazing views, quiet and well kept. The site is split into two fields, the first with some hardstanding and EHU, we were in the second which was for tents and Campervans without EHU.
Fantastic service, so helpful, especially as we left it so late to book. We were given a booklet with very useful info about anything you might need to know about the surrounding area and facilities.
The unisex showers/toilets were in new stone built block - very clean, spacious and well thought out. - though a few solar lights at the edge of the path could have been useful at night.
Very impressed indeed and would go back if in the area again.

Exactly what they say it is. Lovely place to stay. We stayed middle field. Down hill walk to beach. So you know what that means! Up hill on way home! There is lots of places to visit locally. You can order all your meat/ eggs ect straight to where you pitch up, however we did not take advantage of this only staying one night. Your name is on a board when you arrive directing you to your pitch easily. Lovely staff, child friendly, good facilities, what more do you need? A campfire? Well uou can hire one for £7! Would definitely recommend this place :)

Stayed in the Lundy View field, owners were very friendly and helpful. Having the pitches marked with our name is a great touch. Lundy View is the smaller of the fields, had a mixture of tents, caravans and our motorhome. Facilities are very good including closely located hook up, very clean shower, toilets and kitchen. The fire pit was a great idea, we had one each night and would highly recommend having one to take the chill off. Will definitely stay there again.
Note : you have to drive the last 800 metres down a single lane with very high hedges, our motorhome just fits and the mirrors scrape the hedges. This was not a problem, there is a passing place 1/2 way but I was not looking forward to reversing back !
Atlantic Village is about 10mins drive, Westward Ho about 15mins. The views of Lundy Island are great and the sunset is truly spectacular. Bay View is the larger field it also had hooks up and its own facilities. This included trampoline and swings for kids which was a nice touch. In summary a well looked after site in a great location, hardly any noise with good sized pitches.

It is a very friendly and welcoming site. Only got the chance to stay one night as our tent decided to leak a lot.
They were very considerate of the fact we had a one year old so was unsure how long we would be staying. Tent but that to an end.
Our daughter loved the animals that are around the farm.
Great set up and very well organised. Great to have a sign to tell you what field to go to and then also that you can get sorted out and pitched before checking in.
Great layout of the site means it wasn't overcrowded, and it never would be.
Great hot showers and nice and clean toilets. Nice touch of the freezers to be able to use and also like the radio that's on in the toilet block and when washing up.
Will definitely be coming back with a new tent for longer next time.

Just spent 5 nights here after 5 nights at sennen cove c&cc site. We were on lundy view at the top. Although the toilets are a porta cabin thay were given the thumbs up by our 3 girls. The previous site was not as good. If were staying in the area again this site will be our first choice. Price was agreeable too.
