Absolutely perfect. Has been visit a lot of camping sites, due knowing Ireland, but this one is so far the best one.
If you looking for place where to set up the tent with your family, this is the best camping site at this area.
Store in reception room, so you can easily buy almost everything every day, include fresh bread, milk or else.
Outside Play area just as good as any another one, inside play area clean and enough stuff to play, if the weather isn't good.
Plenty off space to cook your meal inside kitchen, where you have to pay 1 Euro to use a stove, but that's on my oppinion fair price.
All area is very clean and protected against the wind and bad neighbours.
Walking distance to the Doolin vilage; where is a brilliant restaurant. Also a lot of attractions very close.
About this camping site can't found nothing negative. Always will happily visit this camp.

Just home from a short 3 night stay at Nagles in Doolin.
The campsite is lovely with everything you could wish for.
You can pitch at any of the 4/5 large open green areas but we chose next to the playground as we had kids of 3/6 with us. This also gave us good shelter if the wind kicked up.
The facilities are great. The showers and toilets are clean. The shower cubicles are very big, a token is needed at a cost of 1 but last 10mins so plenty of time.
The campers kitchen has a tv, fridge and freezer and also lots of seating. They also have gas hobs that cost 1 for 30mins of cooking.
The playground is very big and modern looking, the kids loved it.
The on site shop stocks the essentials plus lots more. The staff were all friendly and Doolin itself is stunning.
For anyone interested in shore fishing then this is paradise. The pollack and wrasse fishing 5 mins stroll from the gates is superb!
The site itself is right next to the pier but this is a 10/15 min stroll from doolin itself sa a car is handy.
I can see myself back here next year. I loved it, as did the kids!
Lovely spot.

This site is very near the Cliffs of Moher and right beside the pier where frequent boats go to Inis Oirr, the smallest Aran Island.
The facilities are excellent - a huge number of toilets, showers, sinks, an excellent campers kitchen, laundry and a shop. The playground is of an unexpectedly high standard.
Doolin has a nice pub, cafe but no foodstore or supermarket, the nearest one is in Lisdoonvarna. This site has very little shelter from the wind, a few stone walls dotted around the place. My advice would be to ask the owner which is the best pitch to choose to give shelter. The tar macadam roads through the site are of a high quality and the hard stands have water, electric points and drainage.
Overall a high quality site owned by the same family for many years, recommended if you like wild coastal scenery, Irish music in the local pub, but not recommended if you would prefer a sheltered site.

Very friendly staff in reception.
We loved the view from the campsite of the sea and sky. Galway Bay is just round the corner and many people walked there.
We do not have children, but they provide a children's play area.
The pitches had electric hook up, a tap and a drain.
The facilities were clean and nearby.
The showers were one Euro a go which is the going rate.
The wifi was good.
We enjoyed our stay here and would return.

The site is just outside Doolin near the pier and is well maintained with tarmac roads and relatively spacious hardstanding pitches with shortly mowed grass next to them.
The pitches seemed to all have water supply, electric hook up and waste water disposal. To use the water you will need a hose connector, if you dont have one there are water points around the site where you can fill up your water containers. There are sea views and views to the Cliffs of Moher.
Wifi is available, we were advised this was best in the centre of the site, however we managed to obtain it on the outskirts facing the buildings.
The amenity block was ok but not overly clean. There is a charge of 1 euro for the shower, be warned, if it is quiet and you have the block to yourself the lights may go off before you have finished as these are on a timer.
We drove to near the Cliffs of Moher, parked and walked there to avoid the charges, the walk can be by road or the coast path. The Cliffs can be accessed without going through the visitors centre.
The area seemed to be quite touristy and commercialised, and the site, although nicely maintained felt a bit too regimented for our liking.

This is a lovely site, very spacious, with an open feel, so no risk of feeling cramped even when full. It's been recently revamped with new tarmac site roads and concrete hardstandings with waste water disposal.
The shower facilities have also been expanded and are large and very smart indeed. As is usual in Ireland showers cost extra, here they are 1 euro 50 for a token, but this gives about 10 minutes hot water and you can turn it off and on again within that time. The cubicles are nice and roomy.
There is a large camp kitchen with washing-up sinks, hobs, fridge, TV and tables and benches. Another plus is that there is free wifi throughout the site.
The friendly manager makes sure the site is kept immaculate. Most pitches have sea views, and at the back of the site there is a view of fields - all very peaceful and relaxing.
Like a previous reviewer, we saw dolphins in the harbour, and they accompanied us on our boat trip to the spectacular Cliffs of Moher. We also visited The Burren where the wild flowers were lovely. We even discovered Father Ted's house!
The only drawback is that there's not much food shopping locally - plenty of pubs, a couple of gift shops and a deli, and a fair hike to a Spar. There are two small supermarkets in Lisdoonvara (8 km), the town famous for its matchmaking festival in September.
All in all a lovely, relaxing site in glorious surroundings (mind you, we were lucky enough to have very good weather!)

Very clean and spacious site right next to Doolin Pier, so very handy for sight seeing trips to the cliffs of Moher and trips across to the Aran Islands. Though check before travelling as advertised ferry times actually change with the tides.
Most pitches had electric, water and waste disposal and if you camp at the top of the site there are some stunning views across to the Cliffs of Moher.
We spent 2 nights here in May, beware, the site shop doesn't open until June so make sure you do any shopping before arriving.
Toilet facilities were immaculate, there is a laundry with sofas so you can sit comfortably while your washing goes around. There is also a large campers kitchen with plenty of tables, cooking rings, kettle, microwave etc.
Its a 10 minute roadside walk to the village which has a few knick knack shops and a good pub. There are guided walks of the area available from the village.
Along past the pier the Burren (limestone rocks) falls into the sea and the area is great for climbing and scrambling around. If you go in the spring the cracks in the limestone are full of the most gorgeous wild flowers.

Myself my Girlfriend and The Dogs spent a week in Doolin in September 2011.
The site was excellently kept and has lots of water taps so no big walks carry water.
Showers/toilets and Camping Kitchen spotlessly clean. Camping kitchen had gas hobs - same model as in my house - and made for quick cooking.
Staff very friendly and relaxed.
The location of the site is exceptional, to wake up open the door and see the Cliffs of Moher to our left and the Aran Islands to our right was breathtaking. I walked the Dogs each morning down to the harbour and was rewarded with the sight of Dolphins twice. This in a distance of 300 meters from the site. Only a short walk into Doolin for pubs etc. (Bring torch as part of walk is in the dark).
Shop at entrance of site is handy.
For the tent and two Adults we were charged 15 and 1 for showers.
The best thing I can say about Nagles is this was my Girlfriends (reluctant) first time camping and it did not put her off.
Would gladly recommend this site and the Clare/Burren area itself.
Cheers Ian

Arrived in very rough weather. Had not made a booking but received a very warm, friendly welcome from the owners.
We asked them where we could find authentic Irish music and they suggested a couple of local bars. They very kindly offered to give us a lift after we had settled in so we did not get wet.
We did not take them up on this offer however, as it was only a 5 minute walk into the village, where we had 2 wonderful evenings mixing with locals and many American visitors eating good value food and listening to live music.
As other reviewers have mentioned the toilet block was adequate and very clean.

Arrived during a storm and sat watching the growing seas crashing against the rocks. Fantastic.
Helpful lady in ferry office phoned the owner as the intercom from the site entrance up to the house wasn't working. Beautifully clean, well run site.
Loos immaculate but only three in the ladies which must be difficult in high season.
Roads north and west of Ennistymon are all narrow whatever colour they appear on your map - not for the nervous!
However buses use them all the time so they must be ok -except when you meet a bus on a hairpin bend! Well worth the white knuckle ride.
