We stayed here in July 2011 for one week.
Our first timeout camping, so we didn't know what to expect.
We pitched way up at the back away from every one else in a sheltered spot behind the sheds.
Fantastic site - very clean and spacious toilets \ showers \ wash area.
Washing up kitchen is good large fridge \ freezer for food and ice packs etc. Dont remember a table in here but one would have been very useful. Many of the users were cooking here and charging mobile phones etc. Pity there wasn't more plugs as I had to join a queue. Another reason why a table here would have been handy.
All in all a very good well kept site with a hand wee shop on site. We have stayed in a lot worse since.
Only thing bringing the score down is that it was busy with traffic when we were walking with our young children

This site is one of our favourite locations, purely for the view to north end of the Cliffs of Moher, the Arran Islands. It's a 1. 5km slightly uphill walk to a cluster of shops, and a great pub in Doolin. There's always a bit of activity here to make it work the effort.
Oddly, Doolin as a village is pretty spread out, so you coul walk another 1km to other pubs and shops. The Harbour is within a short dander from the site, if you want to take advantage of the many sailings to the Arran Islands.
Since the last time we visited, a lot of investment has gone into the site with very tidy hard-standing throughout, each pitch with EHU and water. You'll go along way to find better finished and cleaner bathroom/shower facilities. Tiled throughout, I've seen worse in quality hotels.

We chose this site as it is ideally located for ferry trips to the Arran Islands, The Cliffs of Moher and The Burren. The route to it, all across the Burren is beautiful but a bit narrow and windy so you need to stop to have a proper look. We did not make the Arran Islands as it was so windy when we were there as well as wet.
We found the walk in to the village to the tourist shops, bars and restaurants to be not too arduous, but the return is certainly the easiest part. There was a lovely little music cafe that did excellent coffee and cakes, and we sat outside listening to typical Irish music.
For an evening stroll, a few yards down to the quayside and watch all the boats coming and going was just right.
All the facilities are well-kept and the showers are now free. However, everything seems a bit sparse, no soap or paper towels, no hairdryer, few hooks and no stool in the showers.
The hard-standing pitches are a good size, but not all have waste-water drains as mentioned in a previous review, but there was an excellent motorhome service point which someone even used to wash their car on!

This site is in an excellent position for the ferries to the Aran islands and within about 15 mins fast walk to the local pubs in Doolin where you can eat and see the local musicians.
The site is very open and exposed to winds which were very strong when we visited.
The facilities are quite new and seemed bare eg large campers kitchen but no table and chairs. However everything clean and tidy. The reception has a small shop selling basics.
You can walk from the site to the shore which is rocky and covered in limestone pavement full of flowers and deep crevices. Dogs must be kept on leads here.
Ideal site to visit Father Ted territory on the Burren

This site was very near the ferry to the isles of arran which we didn't use as the winds were too high. The site is a one of the best sites we have ever visited, it was well laid out with hardstandings and water. Waste water and electric to every pitch.
There is a small shop on the site selling the essentials.
There was a small campers kitchen with a fridge and cooker, the toilets and showers were very clean and modern, didn't use them as we have our own and there is a charge to use the showers.
There is a barrier to the entrance which we had a card to open to go in and out but we didn't use it as we used the bikes to go out and about.
The views to the Atlantic ocean were fabulous and they mentioned a short walk to dooling which we found a bit far for us to walk but we used our bikes, but the more fitter amongst you would probably love the walk as the views toward the sea was lovely to get to the famous o'conners pub where we had a lovely meal for a reasonable price.
There were takeaways and cafe's and restaurants withing a mile walk with a few craft shops, no big supermarkets here, the place was full of tourists though so it's a popular place.
The atmosphere in the pub was great with people maybe reulars having a sing song which many people joined in as the Irish songs made it a more memorable evening.
We would definitely use this site again. It was a pleasure to be there.

We are sitting in our caravan looking at the magnificent Cliffs of Moher in a beautiful location at Doolin Pier. The site is in excellent order with a new, very clean toilet block, kitchen, laundry and new hard pitches with hookups, some with water and waste and the camping areas are sheltered behind walls with well tended grass.
The site has a shop from June to end of August and the pier a short walk away has many boat excursions to the Aran Islands and the Cliffs of Moher.
The little village of Doolin is pretty and has shops and restaurants and is famous for its pub with Irish music. Nagles is a lovely caravan and camping park, and the area around it should provide an excellent holiday for all.

Spotless and well organised site. 200 mts to Aran Islands ferry, 800 mts to a very nice pub with good live music and food.
Working Wifi, good showers with token. Mainly hardstands, but grass pitches too.
Seaview to the Cliffs of Moher.
To a height of 2 mts sheltered against winds (stone wall around the site).
The photos on their website show the atmosphere.
Definitely would visit again.
