Another stay at this site 3rd time I think

Nice and quiet and the the owners are very helpful

Could only stay 3 nights as they were busy

Large spacious pitches

Ideal spot for touring North Wales

Close to Chester

Easy access

EHU to all pitches

Shower is basic but its like a wetroom so plenty of room ideal for disabled person

Hoping to return soon

Just had a lovely weekend break at this site. Spacious clean site. There is only one shower and toilet but not a problem as only 5 vans, kept very clean. Space for children to play away from other vans. Lovely welcoming on arrival and during the weekend. Owners so obliging, the grandchildren helped feed the lambs and asked loads of questions which were all answered. Nothing was a bother. Will look forward to returning x

Travelled 300 miles to Sandylane caravan site, and it was worth every mile. Les and Mandy so warm and friendly, children encouraged to participate with the feeding of some animals, oh to be 5 years old again.

Central for so much, Chester, North Wales, Snowdonia, and much more.

Toilets basic but cleaned everyday with plenty toilet paper soap and clean towel every day.

Village within walking distance with small shop.

Thankyou

Visited this CL a few times not much to say but it is so quite and peaceful,

Great owners always come out to greet you whatever the weather, nice big entrance to pull in and get your outfit off the road

Two local very friendly pubs, Chester 5 miles away,

Great for a short 2/3 day stay, small selection of farm produce available,

Booked again for our Pre Christmas shopping trip and for the Chester Christmas lights

Arrived late one dark, cold fri evening, and still got a very friendly greeting.

When the the daylight came, awesome, beautifully kept place, plenty of space, nice views, a few home grown products for sale.

Two friendly pubs within walking distance, very easy drive to Chester. Great base for visiting the surrounding areas. Lovely and quiet and peaceful.

Toilet and shower available which would be great for someone in a smallish motor home, shame they allow kids (bah humbug) but fab still.

We will be returning shortly

First time to this site & area. Easy to find, good access. Extremely well kept site, 4 acre field with wet room of superb shower, toilet & wash basin. The basin was waiting for the plumber to fit a new tap, so we used the shower head. Always very clean, with plenty of toilet paper (essential!) & a bottle of handwash plus a clean towel.

Electric hookup included in price of £8pn for stays of 2+ nights.Grass cut twice in the week we were there.Sheep, pet lambs & a pony in next field. Nothing too much trouble for the lovely owners, Mandy & Les.

We were informed that the 2 pubs in the village do good meals but we did not try them. Bus service from village to Chester approx hourly, plus Park n Ride about 3-4 miles away. Both services will accept bus passes! Good shopping outlet at Broughton about 3-4 miles away, with pub doing very reasonable meals. Handy for visiting North Wales & N/East Cheshire.

Highly recommended, but you must be a Caravan Club member to visit.

We have just had a nice bank holiday at Sandy lane caravan park, nice quiet site.

Owners very pleasant on arrival. Plenty of space between vans good elec hook ups, good amps.

Good clean toilet & shower block. Towels & toilet paper.

Nice big field well looked after. Fresh farm eggs for sale. Near by facilities, two pubs and shops and post office. Near to north Wales and Chester. Good dog walks. We got talking to couples on the site that come from Halifax, they had the kids with them they all enjoyed the weekend has well. We have booked in to the site for more weekends, good prices all round.

Nice quiet site owner very pleasant when we arrived he gave us the choice of pitch. Near to chester and north wales if in a car, only one shower and toilet which were combined clean towels and toilet paper but tiles were coming off the wall door was coming off hinges, so we were glad we had our own onboard facilities.

The owner tried to recycle rubbish but as it was a bank holiday the boxes to put the rubbish in were rather small so everything ended up all over. There was a rally on in the next field so there were a lot of people using the facilities. Enjoyed our stay and grankids loved it would go again.
