Can't thank these guys enough, they made sure we had a spot last minute after another Camp site let us down.
They made sure we were in a quiet area because as a charity we were taking veterans with severe PTSD. Thank You

Nice and peaceful. Clean and well maintained. Excellent fishing facilities.
Toilets and showers could do with windows unsticking so they close and get rid of webs and spiders.

Everything was good with the site until the need for a shower.
Charge for motorhome, EHU, 2 adults £20 a night but an extra £1 for 3mins shower charge in a small cubicle with a shower head that had to handheld which was powered by the irregular Triton system. IMHO the charge was a tad high, although it served its purpose for using it.
Quiet and secluded with a good mile walk to the bus stops for either Stafford or Rugeley/Lichfield, £6, 30 dayticket. Hardly noticed the nearby West Coast rail line

I picked this spot because I love being near and in water. This place is a short walk to the River Trent at Wolsleley Bridge and also has pools on site, which I got in when nobody was looking. There is a petrol station within walking distance too, stocking essentials.
The staff are all very nice and helpful. The one drawback was that we weren't permitted to camp in the 'rally field'. I think only posh people are allowed in there, we had to park on the hardstanding area (glorified carpark) which isn't great when you have a dog. I still don't fully understand what happened there.
£15 per night for 2 adults and a dog, with EHU. Showers work off a token system (so presumably not free), and anyway they were out of order. Toilets are in a converted shipping container. I was not overly impressed with this place, for £15 a night I expect a shower.

We enjoyed this small site on the edge of Cannock Chase AONB. There are other sites in the area with provision for caravans and tourers but overall this area is more for day visitors and in particular mountain bikers and horsey folk.
There were only two other units on site so there was always a sense of tranquillity not bothered by road or rail noise.
The site is not that far (about 25 miles) from Alton Towers and Drayton Manor Theme Park is 15 miles.
Went to Drayton Manor which was busy!. Nothing special to speak of in Cannock but Stafford (10 miles) well worth a visit.
Ancient High House and Victoria Park are great! Hired a bike from a road bike specialist in Stafford and explored area further. Discovered villages of Brewood, Eccleshall and penkridge - marvellous.

We have stayed at this site twice already this year and shall be making it a regular for it is so peaceful with the only noise coming from the railway line in the distance.
The owners are very friendly and accommodating. The only let down is no pot wash but I think this is being addressed. Close to Wolseley Bridge and Cannock chase this site is a MUST. If you like fishing the pools are well stocked.
We would highly recommend anyone to this site to enjoy the most of what the area has on offer.
