The effort that has been made in creating this obviously quite new site is amazing. Each pitch has its own water, electricity and drainage. The toilet/shower block is immaculate, warm and well equipped with soap, hand towels etc.
The washing up area is small but again immaculate and includes a free washing machine.
The site, as others have said is very secure and the wardens are very friendly and helpful.
We chose this site for its proximity to Cheshire Oaks shopping outlet and Chester City as we were on a ‘shopping break’. We will definitely use it again as a base for touring the area.
There is a fair bit of road noise and there are pylons which cross the site which may put some off. However if it was a choice between this site and the nearby CC site, I would choose this every time. The site offers a 3 nights for the price of two on mid week stays and for value and quality cannot be beaten

This is one of the best sites we have used. It is very secure, adult only, good hard standing with grassed areas.
We wanted a base near Chest and this was ideal, only 3 miles away, and a bus stop right outside the site. Buses run every hour.
The site is a couple of minutes away from the end of the motorway, not far from Cheshire Oaks and the Wirral.
The toilets are good, three cubicles, three wash basins and a huge shower room each side. Water is piping hot and the block is warm.
Karen, the warden, is so very helpful. She meets you in and guides you to your pitch, however if you were late your pitch number is displayed on a board on the gate. She is always there to help or answer any queries.
The site seems pretty new, hedges have been planted and should soon be mature enough to provide shelter.
This is a great site, small but friendly. However it hasn't any character, there is nowhere to walk round like some sites.
We shall definitely use it again when we go to Chester area

A little unprepossessing on arrival but site must be newish so hedging hadn't grown.
Nice piece of lawn to yourselves so handy if sunny - it wasn't for us !
Very friendly wardens and helpful.
Leaflet hut good idea
Toilets spotless but only one shower so could be difficult if it was full very pleased to find individual water, power and waste to each pitch
Found it very handy for day time trips as close to main roads but pub/food a long way away and not walk able
Although unimpressed on arrival we got used to it and would use again - pity about the pub though!

On first Impressions the entrance to the park through a small trading estate with a few cars around I wondered what sort of site we were booked on, the entrance to the site is through two sets of tall automatic metal gates.
The site's a lovely clean park with good size pitches each has lawn area by the pitch which is yours to sit out on.
Each pitch has water drainage and electric, the toilet block has only one shower but it is in a large cubical for drying and dressing,
because it is only a small site as in number of vans it takes and having the services to each pitch it is not a problem the toilets basins are kept clean, the chemical empty/grey water point is well positioned and kept tidy.
The Wardens on site keep all areas in good order as well as being friendly and helpful.
On the main road there is a good pub serving carvery meals very good food and cheap, BP garage with shop, papers etc just across the road, in the village there is a co-op/post office.
We travelled on the park and ride to Chester city and train to Liverpool from the site its about 10 min drive in different directions to either. We would recommend this site to anyone looking for a site in this area.

Very nice site clean facilities very welcoming warden and very helpful. Close to end of M56 and in easy reach of Chester and north wales coast. Also near to chesire oaks shopping centre,
Two sets of gates for security and spacious pitches with all pitches having water ehu and grey waste points. Cost of pitch £18 per night is reasonable for facilities.
Hot water free showers free even a washing machine in veg preparation area.
When shrubs between plots are established will be quite private. Nearest shop is small co op about 1 mile away in Saughall village

Stayed for just one night at this site to visit chester. We arrived sunday morning and were greeted by the warden, a lovely friendly lady, she showed us to our pitch which was really large, hardstanding with grass lawns on either side of our campervan, pitch had its own water and electric hook up.
There was a little summer house which was full of tourist information, magazines and books,
the toilet and shower block was kept spotless at all times, it is a very secure site with coded electric gates.
This is an adult only site, so it is very peaceful, we took our little dog with us too,
I would highly recommend this site as a good base for visiting the surrounding areas, 3 miles to Chester, not far to Cheshire oaks outlet village, we would definitely return.

Whilst not in the prettiest of locations this is a very well run adult only site with reasonable facilities.
The wardens are both personable and friendly. The toilet block was kept spotlessly clean and the site itself is quiet with a little traffic noise from time to time but nothing that was intrusive or discomforting.
Very well placed for visiting the Chester, Wirral and North Wales areas. Good eating places in the near vicinity. Would use this site again without question.
Well done to the wardens on site for all their help during our visit.

This site is for caravans and campervans only, as it is mainly gravel so wouldn't be suitable for tents. We rang up at the last minute, and the pleasant lady gave us the code for the gate and told us where to find our pitch.
The site is easy to find, just off the roundabout, you have to be ready to turn right, the sign is rather small. You drive between a couple of small work buildings to the gate at the back.
The gravel pitches have now been divided by areas of grass which have been bordered with bushes, so each pitch has its own area. Although you are so close to the main roads, and do hear a bit of distant traffic, the site feels very private and secure.
The facilities are small, but kept very clean. There are 3 toilets, 3 basins and a huge shower room in the ladies. 1 washing up sink and free washer and dryer in another room.
The site is ideal for visiting the area, Chester is very close, but you could visit Liverpool as well. The villages on the River Dee are lovely, the Wirral country park covers a lot of that area including an old railway line where you can cycle, as well as other off road paths. At the top of the peninsula, there are beach resorts like Hoylake and New Brighton.
The price was moderately expensive for what you get, but we were offered 3 nights for the price of 2 which made it extremely reasonable.

We visited this site as it is quite near Chester.
The site is behind a small commercial area and is totally surrounded by a good security fence with number coded gates.
We were met by the very friendly warden, who lives on site, and shown to a pitch. The pitches are all self contained with electricity, water supply and drain.
The site is new and we were told that it is still being developed (although it seems OK to me). The whole central area and pitches are hardstanding but each pitch has a grassy area beside it. Almost like a garden lawn. There is a new hedge planted beside each grass area to give some added privacy and 'greenness'.
The toilets, showers and emptying points are very clean. There is a washing machine and dryer that is free to use. Wi-fi is also free.
A garage 50 yards away sells some essentials.
There is a bus stop outside the gates to whisk you away to the wonderful town of Chester which is well worth a visit.
We will return.

Found this site after a disastrous visit to another site that we left after inspecting toilets. Daughter phoned around and found this site, although full on the sat. The wardens fitted us in that night on the temp. Plot and made us a cup of tea on arrival. We stayed for 10 days. Toilets were immaculate and cleaned twice daily and inspected throughout the day. Washing machine and tumble drier was free also wi. Fi info hut on site. Ideal for Chester by bus outside the park or 4miles to park and ride. By zoo. Free with bus passes. Well worth I visit
