We Have just spent 7 nights on this site and take great pleasure in recommending it. Large hard standing pitches with a plot of grass for you to sit out. Toilet Blocks are kept spotless free laundry facilities. The warden and Husband were so friendly and helpful, our grey waste pipe was to short, the warden turned up an Hour or so later with another full length of Hose from a caravan shop, also another caravan couple needed a new door lock witch they picked up for them. And fitted it for the couple. These wardens are one of the nicest couples we have met

Very handy and convenient site for us to visit friends in Chester and the Wirral. Facilities were spotless and staff friendly and helpful. We liked the security of the gates without feeling locked in like some sites we've been on as you have a code for the gates.

Our Sat Nav wasn't very helpful and dumped us a way down the road and we had a bit of trouble finding it due to it being dusk and the green sign kind of blended in with the hedges but it's near the roundabout.

Booked for one night as we were passing through and booked again on our way home. Recommended if you want a no fuss, no frills stay. As already mentioned, all amenities are close by.

We have also just returned from a stay on this site. Can confirm all the comments about the site from the previous review. We were on plot No1,

The only negative thing to say is that there can be some traffic noise, as this plot is nearest to the road. Other than that we found the site excellent, and will return later in the year when the weather is a little warmer.

Just returned from spending 4 nights at Woodside touring park, lovely site nice hard standing and very spacious plots. The shower room and toilet block are fantastic and always lovley and warm.

Coded gates for security, very handy for Chester. We took the bus, stop just outside the site, into Chester and had a great Valentines day, pub, shop, pub, shop, meal, pub, pub pub and then the bus back.

Don't walk into Saughall as we did to stop at the Greyhound pub as it has closed down, walk is about 3 miles there and back. Had a lovely carvery at the Crown just down the road.

Would highly recommend this site.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay in this select site. The facilities are spotless, owner very friendly and helpful. The site is totally secure with a coded gate entry and cctv.

We also had the pleasure of meeting Zak, who apparently lives on site during college terms. What an extremely polite and pleasant young man.

We would highly recommend this site and will definitely return.

We have just had a lovely stay at this site over the new year. Everything about this site is A1, from the well set out park, to the toilet blocks. This is a new site and is well worth a visit. 10 mins drive to Chester town or the zoo. There are lots of places to get to from this park. We will be back to this site very soon, so give it a try, you will be back as well.

This is an excellent touring site, very secure with coded entry gates and great facilities, in particular the obviously very new toilet block. Very handy for Chester. This is a great old city to visit and you really have to walk round the city walls. These are the most complete set of Roman city walls in Europe. Also very handy for the North Wales countryside. If shopping is your thing then you will be in heaven as the largest outlet mall in the UK (Cheshire Oaks) is only 15 minutes away at Ellesmere Port!

Overall a clean, friendly site that gives good value for money. Highly recommended.

Well situated location for Chester and North Wales. The site is very secure with coded entry, CCTV and fencing. The site is currently hardstanding only but the owners told us that they will soon be landscaping which will make it very pleasant. Be sure to check out the nearby pub with it's £3.50 carvery, fantastic! There is also a Spar shop just across the road for essentials and a footpath at the rear takes you into Saughall which has a CO-OP, Chinese and local pub. A local bus service goes right past the entrance and takes you into Chester City which is highly recommended.
