This was our second visit to St Annes Cottage after a 2 night trial at the beginning of August.
My wife and I were new to naturism so we didn't know what to expect.
We were made most welcome and were greeted by Reg and Hazel when we arrived.
The site is well kept, the showers and toilets etc are kept clean and we really enjoyed our 11 day second visit.
There is a supermarket and a very good fish and chip shop in Verwood which is just up the road.
Studland Bay naturist beach is just up the road but you need to go early to beat the traffic around Bournemouth.
All in all a great relaxing place which we will definitely be visiting again.

A welcoming, tranquil site which is sheltered by surrounding trees and well kept to a good standard.
Although this site has no facilities other then one of the cleanest shower/toilet blocks I have ever come across, local shops can be found within a five minute drive. Bournemouth, Ringwood and the New Forest are all within an easy drive.
Although beside a reasonably busy road, vehicle noise is barely noticeable and privacy is maintained by the surrounding trees and a combination coded gate entry.
There are a large number of electric hook-ups and fresh water points together with chemical waste disposal area are easily accessible.
The friendly nature of both the on site owners and other campers together with the free and easy clothes free atmosphere makes for an excellent relaxing stay which I would recommend to anyone. If a first time visitor to a naturist site you would be hard pushed to find one where you could feel quite so at ease right from the start.
This site is open throughout the year and I shall certainly be making a return visit.

I had a really good weekend here on my own, camping in my enormous (5 meter) bell tent. It was my first naturist holiday and despite some wet, grey weather, I really enjoyed my stay.
Reg and Hazel were very helpful, showing me what was what when I arrived. They left me to it after that though, which was nice - I'm not the sort of person who invites a great deal of conversation, but it was good to know they were around if I needed anything.
The campsite is simple, but has everything you need: Toilets, good free hot showers (mixed M/F), a fridge, washing up area, and drinking water on tap. It's big too, so I didn't feel like I was rubbing shoulders with any neighbours. It's a nice space to walk around too, with a big main area and a couple of little paths that meander through the woods.
Nearby there are good local shops: A little Tesco and a co-op just down the road, and in nearby West Moors there's a really good Chinese takeaway. Ringwood is just down the road too, with a big Sainsbury's and Waitrose etc. I visited Studland while I was there, via the car ferry. It took about an hour to get there, including queueing for the ferry.
I'd love to return - this isn't a complaint, but it would be good to meet some naturists in my own age group, so hopefully next time there will be a few younger (30s-ish) folk.
All in all, this is a campsite to treasure.

We have just acquired an(elderly, home-converted) camper van to use during our stays at exhibitions we attend. The Southampton Boat Show saw this occasion and we knew about St Anne's from their flyers. We arrived later than intended, in the dark and struggled to find the entrance. As a tip to others, approaching from the south, drive through Three Legged Cross in a 30 mph zone, into the 40 zone and, immediately after the derestriction sign there is a large white sign on the right.
We were talked in by Reg and Hazel who met us at the gate on their 'steeds'.
The site is quite large and almost silent. Tranquil would be the word. The only facility is the toilet block which was immaculately clean and cleverly designed allowing privacy where necessary and shared space otherwise.
The grassed areas and the shrubs were superbly maintained.
Highly recommended and good value. If you wish to visit and are a non-naturist, this could be a gentle introduction (or induction!).

Have not long returned from St Annes. Reg and Hazel the site wardens gave us a great welcome as in past visits to this friendly hidden away site.
It is situated on a main road and yes you can hear the traffic but I don't think this detracts from the sites appeal and that is relaxing, sociable and a break from every day life.
The site does not have a club house or pool but is surrounded by trees and fields which add to its charm.
There are quite a few units left permanently on site, and they cover quite a large part of the site, however we were shown to a fab pitch over looking the dog walk for our two weeks of 'Hey we don't need to get dressed all day' We were lucky to have seen deer roam onto site over a few evenings which was amazing and if you go over to the dog walk at dusk you may be lucky and have bats wiz past you.
All in all a great holiday.
Thanks Reg & Hazel.

Just getting back from spending two nights at St Annes Cottage. Staff were nice and pleasant and some of the residents were nice and friendly and made us feel welcome. The grounds for camping are very well maintained, but the site seems to be more for those with caravans and motor homes, we arrived last minute with a tent and found there was no cooking facilities on site, we usually bring a cooker and gas bottle, but every site we have been too in the past have had a cooker for guests to use, so we had to leave earlier than planned as the local pubs and cafe was too far to travel every time we wanted something to eat.
Showers and toilets are clean, but I'm not sure two showers is enough for a site with so many people.

We visit this very fantastic campsite as often as we can the site is flat with electric hook up and very very clean toilets and showers.
If you read the reviews on here the ones who seem to knock it fault things above and beyond the care that is given here. You will always get odd folk that's life.
The care and attention you get here is second to none.
You could say its 30 mins from any where.
You get a very warm welcome on arrival and help is always at hand from reg and hazel.
The signs at the front show the name st annes cottage and on the back is a notice telling you to be careful when pulling out.
The gate is coded so no unwanted visitors.
The site is children friendly and if you are just dipping your toe into your first naturist experience its a great place to start in fact its surprising how many more you see wearing clothes even on very hot days.
Give it a try you will go back time after time its second to none.

We booked this site for a 7 night stay and we wish we had not.
The site is mainly for caravans and motor homes, the majority of the guests on the site were very ignorant towards us, (that includes the wardens) probably because we were in a tent. The showers are not very user friendly, no temperature control so just hot, and there are only two of them for the whole of the site.
Toilets were not very clean, on one occasion my husband went to use the toilet and had to come out as someone had decided not to do his jobby in the pan, but on it and on the floor of the cubicle.
The best thing I can say about our stay here was the weather was good,
We wont be returning again.
